As if the rodent infestation wasn’t enough we now only have one cart after 3pm waiting over an hour to use. I don’t understanding how paying customers that have jobs during the day are being penalized for some stealing a cart with all the money this establishment receives monthly. The front desk staff is beyond unprofessional and the district manager is unresponsive. When I rented here a few years back it was nice and clean. Now the buildings dirty there’s mice. Run Run Run…….

Mrs.Tania & Mrs.Tracy definitely helped me fix the fraudulent activities going on within my account and saved me thousands of dollars from having my storage auctioned off since I wasn’t aware of the fraudulent activities. They consistently tried to get in contact with me despite me having an old number on file and once contacted not only did they fix the situation but helped waive any penalties associated with my account.

I recently had an exceptional experience with Tracy and Tania at CubeSmart. Tracy was extremely patient and kind throughout the entire process. She was incredibly informative, especially when we were learning about the storage unit options available to us. Our day started at another CubeSmart location where, unfortunately, no one was available to assist us. When we explained the situation to Tracy, she was understanding and empathetic. She made us feel completely comfortable with the idea of moving our unit from the other facility to theirs. Her kindness and professionalism were truly remarkable. Customer service was excellent! Tania was the agent on duty when I visited. I am relocating from Baltimore, MD to Fort Washington, MD and will be doing some downsizing temporarily. I wanted to know an estimate on a small storage unit. She not only answered my questions about the unit but also gave me a few restaurants to try out! She was very attentive to my chaotic explanation of what my concerns were. Her energy was helped ease my racing mind with everything that comes with moving. MICE INFESTED!!!!!!! Three weeks ago on October 16, 2023 I went too my CubeSmart storage unit to only find my basket inside of my packing boxes eaten by a mouse with mouse feces laying on top. I left the unit to go to the front desk to file a complaint with the store. The lady at the front desk informed me that she would be sending an email to the district manager (Ciro Vigilante) and that I should file an insurance claim. I have filed the claim and I have yet to hear from the insurance company as well as any person(s) from CubeSmart in regards to this matter. I have called and left between 5-7 messages begging for a phone call. There is no number they can give me to HR or corporate, so the matter has not even been escalated. I pay $181 a month and have had this storage unit since June 2023. They are threatening to put a lien on my unit if I don't pay. However, I am unsure how you expect me to pay for a unit that it infested with mice and has not been addressed. I want to have my things removed and I should not responsible for the move or the storage fees moving forward. This is disgusting! I have contacted Stephanie Burdo, who is this Vice President and I have reached out to the BBB. I plan on escalating this matter and following up with this issue until someone hears and resolves my complaint. I am 7 months pregnant and should not have to experience such poor customer service as well as such deplorable conditions.

At 10:45 a.m. this morning, August 31, 2023, I walked into the CubeSmart and asked to see two units. The attendant informed me that she can not show me any units today because she is leaving for the day! How do you just get into work and you are leaving already with no one to cover the store? She never said come back later in the day, she said come back tomorrow. I also came here last week Wednesday at 8am an there were no signs on the door to indicate what time they would open for business. I chose this facility because of its location to my job and home. I am deeply disappointed with my recent interaction at CubeSmart Self Storage and feel compelled to share my experience. As someone who is currently physically challenged, I visited their facility on Tuesday, August 15th, at 4:30 pm, hoping to view a 5x5 unit. However, the attendant informed me that the store would be closing at 5:00 pm, leaving her unable to show me the unit. This lack of accommodation and understanding towards my situation was disheartening. Determined to give CubeSmart another chance, I returned on Friday, August 18th, at 4:10 pm. To my dismay, the same attendant greeted me with an attitude that suggested I was inconveniencing her by requesting to see the unit. Despite my polite and pleasant demeanor, she made it abundantly clear that my needs were not a priority. To make matters worse, when I expressed interest in viewing the 5x10 unit as well, the attendant curtly informed me that I could only see one unit. As a local business owner in need of extra storage space, I was hoping to make an informed decision before committing to a rental. However, the attendant's dismissive behavior and refusal to show me the units left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. It is deeply disconcerting that the attendant, who should be the face of customer service, displayed such a lack of professionalism and empathy. Despite my physical challenges, I went out of my way to be pleasant and understanding, only to be met with indifference and rudeness. It is my sincere belief that the attendant should reconsider a role that does not involve direct customer interaction. Overall, my experience at CubeSmart Self Storage was incredibly disappointing. I was left feeling neglected and saddened by the lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by the attendant. As a potential customer, I expected better treatment and the opportunity to view the storage units before committing. Unfortunately, CubeSmart fell short in meeting these expectations, and I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

As far as price, I thought CubeSmart was ok. I don't like the fact that they MAKE you purchase a lock from them. However, I was traveling from out of state and needed somewhere that was seemingly decent. Due to me arriving on a Sunday, I had to submit everything online in order to receive the access and temporary lock codes. However, when I arrived, the access code did not work, so I had to call customer service for help. After 10 hours of driving, having to sit and wait for customer service was quite frustrating. Customer service gave me an emergency code and I was able to access the gate. I then began to unload my items and proceeded to my unit, only to get to my unit and the temporary lock code didn't work either. Frustrating. I had to call customer service back again and they then gave me a completely different code. Thinking I was accessing an online process that would speed up my process, was a major fail. I ended up not having time to unload half of my things and had to return the next morning in order to return the rental truck. Having an online system to speed up a process is nice but it's pointless when given all the incorrect information, which then resulted in me having to pay for another day to keep the rental truck.

RODENT INFESTED-Rental insurance doesn’t cover this loss. Customer service is nonchalant. They do not offer anything to cover your loss. I lost a large amount of my items. If you value your items DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. Their website doesn’t allow you to write a review and they only post the good ones. I had home decor, clothes, purses, shoes and some furniture. I had to throw out so much because the rodents built nest in my shoe boxes and chewed through my crates. They offered Zero compensation. Dead rodents were in my crates. It was a disgusting mess. DO NOT RENT HERE! All of the reviews giving 5stars must be related to the owner. The manager was very nice when I got the space but was unapologetic when I spoke about the rodent problem. She was unbothered.

Don't try to move your stuff in the morning. The 3 dollies on the lot will be in the hands of the bakery owners. I had to hand carry out all my items because there are not enough dollies in the facility. They are also very old and do not match the cube smart branding. They look like they were left behind by old customers.

I hit a rough time dealing with a death in the family. Once I was available to discuss the matter with the store, they were no help at all. One of the managers was nice, yet insuffient in resolving my issue. I escalated to the general manager. She was rude and has absolutely no concept of what customer service looks like. I left the store with my issue unresolved, so I escalated to the District Manager, Mr. Kevin Washington. Mr. Washington was extremely helpful, professional, and exemplified exactly what customer service should be. Way to go Mr. Washington. Thank you.

Nobody likes moving, and storage units even less, but the staff at this location truly goes out of the way to help ease the turmoil that is the moving experience. I highly recommend using this particular location. I’ve used the company in the past and wasn’t pleased. However this location has completely changed my view on the company and storage in general. Unwillingness to provide evidence stating in leasing contract saying no refunds. I've been asking for a refund since 3;17/19 also to speak with upper management plus left emails, phone calls no response. Just bad service. Thieves

I won a storage auction, Called Lillian Colter, the General Manager, she said they close at 6pm. I got stuck in traffic after driving 1.5 hours arrived at 5:55pm. She told me that she could not help me that she was tired and wanted to go home and said I could not get the unit. I called customer service spoke with Mike, and Sean, they email the District Manager Eric Washington., Customer Service told me to call Eric to see if he could help me. They gave me his cell phone number, i called him several times and waited for an hour an no response. Lillian the general manager was very rude and unaccommodating. She made it clear that she did not like her job. She also threatened to put us out when we asked her to be more professional. What a horrific attitude, She actually blamed us for not calling a second time to let her know we were coming before 6pm. As if she forgot we were coming., She had the lights out at 5:55pm ready to go home. Wow. Bad Experience,

MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION SHOULD BE FIRED. She was rude, disrespectful and just didn't appear to even like her job. She was nasty women from start to finish. Handed her items in her hand..i.e. ID, money etc. and wouldn't give it back to us the same. Ensured she put it on the desk. In a customer service environment it is the simple thing that matters. I felt her nasty attitude over the phone the day before so I was mentally prepared for it when we arrived. And she was clearly attempting to tick us off more from her phone call the day before to an auction winner. I also have a storage unit with Cubesmart, and the staff dont treat us like like this ever. Must be something with the auctions she doesnt like. The facility gets 2 stars...the staff get 0..She should be fired.

I give 3 stars for cleanliness and security. The place is very secured. However, my second time going to the front desk was ridiculously disappointing. One manager didn't know how to handle a rental and the other was plain rude. I was absolutely surprised. I left feeling so upset. I am going to take it up with corporate, however, on the plus side I like the area and the facility on a whole.

If you need to store something...DO IT HERE! No I'm not an employee, owner or investor trying to do some shameless plug...I'm a normal dude who needed to store some of my possessions. First and foremost the staff there are really personable, helpful and insightful. This was my first time ever using a storage facility and they made me feel comfortable, secure with possessions being stored here and even answered all my questions with a smile. And for that I am truly appreciative. I am not going to make this review some long, drawn out and detailed critique because I respect and value my time and others. Simply put...if you need some storage...go to this place, talk to the staff and select the option that is best for you....and you will be good to go!

I've been a customer for a couple of years now. I've noticed an assistant that works at my storage location on Richie Road. She's there early, doing things (tcb). I've seen her with mop & bucket...just doing work. Well a couple of weeks ago I went to pay my bill $$$ and she was behind the desk. I took the time to read her name tag. Turns out she's the General Manager, Lillian Colter! I told her that because I saw her always doing work, I figured she was an assistant. I'm used to seeing management lag or not even do what usually gets passed down to others. I applaud her. Always thought she was special, now even more so. Class act. Please don't lose this one.

I really like this Cubesmart. I'm using storage at the Ritchie Station Location and Ms. Venita(I pray I'm not wrong) was great. She was very helpful and professional. You made things very clear and easy for me. I would definitely recommend this storage facility. The location was perfect and there is ample driving space inside the gates.

I had a very good experience in changing my unit from a 10x10 to a smaller unit, the available units were well lit and suited my needs. As the months go on I'll most likely down size again until I no longer in need of storing. It was my first experience in using storage units and I was pleasantly relieved that I was not overwhelmed by it because of the staff who showed much concern and patience. So I would definitely recommend this location.

I previously rented a unit at Fort Knox Self Storage but they experienced a fire and requested we move our belongings. I found Cubesmart online and reserved a unit. I was skeptical when CubeSmart took over this location , but after the excellent customer service I experienced with Arnaldo im sold.
