The parking storage is like a junkyard! There are old car/truck parts, tires, nuts, bolts, screws and all kinds of debris everywhere. The manager tries to keep it clean but can’t enforce the rules for customers to keep the property clean

The staff gave great customer service from the time I called over the phone to speaking to someone in person and completing my contract in person!! The staff was absolutely professional and courteous of what I was looking for and even when it was getting close to closing time I was still able to see a storage unit. Michael’s customer service is OUTSTANDING!! Hands down, there’s nothing more to say!! My unit was mistakenly closed out but NOT auctioned and I called and then visited and spoke with Michael due to my concern for my personal items and Michael escorted me to my unit to discover the unit next to me was the closed out unit but by error my unit number was put into the system. He promised to correct the error and contact when it was done and that he did!! Not only did he apologize a million times but he ensured the error was corrected and that unit number was reinstated amongst other things and he followed up to make sure that I understood that everything was re-applied as it was initially. If you get a special price, be sure to ask for how long the special will run. I rented a unit in April and come September, the 25% off price reversed with no real warning. Because I use the app, I saw that my upcoming bill was $40 higher. Until then, it was a decent experience.

I've been a customer with CubeSmart now for a # of years. I have no complaints about staff nor facility. Courteous and professional. Once I couldn't open my bin due to a piece of furniture blocking it on the inside and I believe a gentleman name Isaac came to move it away from the inside door so I can get in my storage unit. Also most recently when I came to make a payment Michael came to door several times to open it for me, helped me make direct payments to avoid coming in unnecessarily, and helped me get to CubeSmart site online for reviews. I have never personally used a storage unit but its been great so far. I did everything online, it almost was too good and easy to be true so I had to follow up with the receptionist. She confirmed everything was true. They are flexible ,clean and very efficient. My unit is easy to access and just the right size. Only thing I wish is for me to have 24/7 access or atleast til 10 pm . I tend to run errands late due to school ,work and kids. Kudos to the receptionist, she was kind and very helpful. Plus she had the office area on point and smelling fresh!

Wow! I suddenly had to move and was totally unprepared didn't know how I was going to get it done. I was passing by Cube-smart @7805 Old Alexandria ferry Rd went in to ask about storage space. I talked to the manager Carol and when I tell you she was so helpful. By the time I left I had a plan, I had sofa covers, and even a FREE truck to move into the storage facility. Carol then pointed me to her assistant Abbie who walked me through the space and helped me pick a space that was big enough for my stuff and still giving me some walk around room. To make a long story short because there's a lot more wonderful things I can say about Carol and Abbie but all I will say is.... they were Awesome! they help me develop a plan, a date, how to protect and cover my things and I was able to use there moving truck for free. They were wonderful they took all the stress of moving and made it way less difficult. As I get others moving into the area I will recommend they work directly with Carol and Abbie to help them coordinate there next move. Awesome folks, Awesome team work, and a very nice professional atmosphere. Also the storage campus is very clean as well I felt very comfortable leaving my stuff there. 5 Stars * * * * *

The young ladies that work here are wonderful... Everyone has great customer service... They are patient and explain everything ... We needed a last minute storage space and their system was down ... I had to go to another CubeSmart to process my transaction , they made sure I had my unit and lock , everything was set ... The supervisor was ready for me at the other storage area to process my information ... It was a relief to such those 3 ladies look out for me ... When we came back to put our belongings in the storage , one young lady literally ran down to the storage unit to make sure we went directly to the right unit, and we were satisfied. The other young lady came by checked on us , brought us our lock which we forgot at the desk ... She even brought us cold water ... I haven't had such great service like that in awhile .. Thank you

The place is clean and appears well managed, but try to navigate it at night. We were locked in for over 1.5 hrs and no instructions how to contact someone to open the gate. When the site manager finally contacted us I was berated for being onsite. Customer service proved not to be his forte.

Friendly, inviting and very helpful in my time of need. By the time I moved my furniture out of the location the rodents traveling from unit to unit had damaged my furniture (sofas, dressers, tables). Three months after moving into one of the largest units the dropping were noticed. I don't think they did a single thing to control the issue. Just increased price and failed to have/provide light bulbs. I purchased and put in my own bulbs! The insurance, they mandate you to have (just taking money) refused to accept claim of damages & CubeSmart did nothing as well! This WAS NOT a Smart rental & I will never do business with them again! I will also add NO FOOD of any kind was ever stored in my unit. Just boxes of clothing home decor, waher/dryer and furniture. All of which was packed, organized, and stacked upon moving from 5 bedroom home.

Lacy and the team at this Cube Smart are the very best ever. I have had to rent storage space all over the country as I travel every 4 years for my job to a new locations and need storage space all the time until I find housing and the facility would be ranked the very best ever. My wife and I rented one unit thinking our furniture would fit, but that didn't happen. My wife was freaking out because the store was closing and the movers still had an entire truck to offload. KY, the store manager, was patient and said to her no worries I'm not going to leave you guys until i find you another unit. She actually found us 2 more and everything fit. Ky was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable about what we needed. She made my wife at ease by walking with her, viewing what was left on the truck and deciding what unit size was actually needed. She never rushed us during the process.

Not one to do reviews normally, but I wanted to make sure that I highlighted this store. I am in the middle of moving while my home is being built and our temporary residence isn't large enough to fit all of our stuff. While in a rush I stopped in to Cubesmart just to check out prices and get an idea of what my options were before I sale or donate anything. I came in unsure of a lot and feeling all over the place, however I was met with a reassuring smile from Jade and Kyiefa who reassured me of storing my items, explained the process, size I would probably need for my time there, and calmed my nerves about this move and holding place. The only thing I would add to that store is better candy....lol. Thanks guys you all saved my mind in the time of transition!
