John is a jerk and inconsiderate! Employees leave whenever they feel like it and no one is in the property to assist when things arise. Terrible business practice! As a manager myself, I would make sure “company errands” are done when there is more than one person on the clock so that there is staff in the building at all times! Brittany was very helpful during the initial process. Whenever I had a question I would give her a call and she would gladly respond with such excellent customer service. I called so much she began to recognized my voice and acknowledge me by name. So once we meet in person for the renting process, we felt like we were friends. Moving is one of the more stressful endeavors one can undertake. However, putting all your belongings into storage adds to that stress. I’ve used cube smart on a couple of occasions (staging my home, and after I sold it). This storage facility was always clean and secure. Additionally, I was always greeted by my name when I was at the facility. I worked directly with Britney and John, and they are fabulous. I highly recommend this Cube Smart!

I received an email indicating that my unit rent rate will go up about 20%, which is about 20 times inflation rate for the same period, that is 1%. I just have had the unit for 6 months. I called the facility and calmly ask why, since inflation is only 2% per year, which equals 1 % pe?r 6 months. Well, they just hang up on me and never called back.

On the move in date, I was greeted by both Mr. Thien and Ms. Leggins. Mr. Thien had originally responded to my reservation and planned move in date. Ms. Leggins handled my in-processing in a professional, courteous and thorough manner. Candidly, my brain was fried from a long day at work. So it helped tremendously that Ms. Leggins carefully explained the options to me and took the time to evaluate how much space I really needed. I upgraded to a more realistic storage size for my archives. Ms. Leggins explained the paperwork with a balance of comprehensiveness and brevity. The location itself is pretty accessible for suburban Maryland. It was really easy to acclimate to the mechanics of using the space and porting in belongings. I definitely will continue to use this facility for my storage requirements.

Kept well maintained, good security system and good hours. Only thing that would make it better is 24 hour access so I could keep my bicycle there for my night rides.

For me the stellar customer service that I received from Bob Stephens is what sold me on Cubesmart. He went above and beyond any storage customer relations I had experienced before. The storage units were well lit, clean, they have a truck that customer's can use and the price was right. I did check out other storage companies in the area and they were close in comparison with capacity, pricing, etc., except for the service I received. If you need storage and live in the Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village area it will be worth your while to stop by.

We needed a storage unit at the last minute, and CubeSmart not only gave the best deal of the 4 places we checked out (we have a lot of options in our neighborhood to choose from), but they were by far the most personable and gave the best customer service. Bob was professional and helpful, and got us squared away in no time. Also the units are in a well maintained building with great security, its very clean, and customers get access almost around the clock. I would definitely work with Cubesmart in the future.

Renting Unit - I happened to stop by three weeks before I needed to rent the unit and was prepared to put a deposit down. Unfortunately I was told that they only take reservations inside of 14 days. I had to return within 14 day window to reserve a unit. Perhaps this policy works for them but it didn't work for me. Moving In - This particular Cubesmart (300 Old Game Preserve) has a very "uneven" issue with the main access door. The entry floor is 1 inch higher than outside floor. This creates a very significant challenge for rolling heavy carts in to the building. My wife could not get heavy carts over the bump. We also had damage as boxes fell off carts as they went over the bump. Cubesmart seem to recognize the problem by providing a few carts with soft all terrain tires which help with the bump but then are much harder to pull on the smooth concrete inside. It is very simple, entry ways into storage building need to be flush. Given this issue which should be easy to fix and they seemed to have ignored I would not recommend 300 Old Game Preserve. Find another unit with a flush floor and easier access.

I was extremely pleased with the professional and curtious way I was checked in, shown my unit and how to use the codes. Also having all the carts in one place was a bonus. Last storage place I used, I had to go looking for a cart. At times I had to keep going to other buildings to fine one. Cube Smart is organized and even has lights!!!!! No more flashlights for me. Excellent place to store your goods.

Just started renting a storage unit here and have had a good experience so far. I reserved online and got the promised deal when I went to sign for it in person. The manager in the front office was helpful, professional and courteous. The storage unit and the entire facility are clean and well-kept.

The Staff (from Isaiah to the Mgr., Greg) are very professional, helpful, and thorough in setting up my initial rental; along with my upgrade to a larger size unit. The units are very clean, in addition to the overall facility. Great customer service at this location! I’ve been a loyal customer for quite some time and I must say it’s always a pleasure; the staff, the location and services – exceptional. I think the quality for the price of storage is reasonable and the perk I most enjoy; they accept packages! I know I’ll always receive a courtesy call from Greg or any of the staff to alert the arrival of a package and what’s more? I can have the package(s) delivered to my rental unit! Awesome!
