We were renting from public storage on Contee Road in Laurel Md but the lady Martha at the front counter was always so rude after checking around the gentleman at your front counter was awesome, he was working by himself and he was really busy but he was still working with everyone in a relaxed mood and stayed calm to tend to everyone, I must give him a 10!

The building is kept clean and I love the drive-in access. The staff were thorough and nice. On a sour note, the amount of the increases are ridiculous. In four months after contract, fee increased $30+. Not even six months yet. Felt like a bait and switch. Moved my items elsewhere.

There overhead door have been broken for months. They have no cart in the building and when you talked with office they said nothing they can do. When I asked for compensation for the inconvenience they said they decided to stop doing it because they had been doing it for too long. Even though they are doing it becuase they refuse to fix the issue. So now I have to pay for a unit I can't move my stuff out of. Everyone find a different place to rent from.

The Laurel, MD location needs to get their act together. Roll up doors were damaged at beginning of 2022 and have been out of service for 8 months. Have to park outside, get a cart (if you can find one) and walk all your stuff in and out. I had 2 units there and paid over $350 monthly. When I received notice that my rate was being INCREASED, I’d had enough and found a different indoor storage facility.

The storage we rent is huge and you drive into the building to off load. It is clean and quiet. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars, is that both gates were broken and we had to drive backwards to get the truck out, because you can't turn a 10ft truck around inside.

The cube smart in Laurel was robbed Saturday. They stole my $10,000 motorcycle after they cut the locks off of the trailer. They then stole other stuff from people including two landscape trailers, 2 cars and an RV. They disabled the gate and just drove right out with everyone's belongings. Cube smart doesn't even care they said they have absolutely no responsibility for this situation. So if you would like to keep your belongings then don't use cubesmart.

The staff has been super nice ! The gate has ALWAYS been closed and entrance can only be gained by customers assigned codes, which helps to ease my mind some. On the other hand, while my storage unit was near the rear of the facility, I dont ever recall seeing any camera's on the outside of the buildings. I never seen many people in the lot at the same time anyway and the fencing very secure so it's safe to say that I felt at ease storing my belongings there.

What a positive experience. I had never rented storage and didn't know what to expect. I rented a small unit on a Sunday morning and within a half hour, Katie called me to make sure everything was fine. i TOTALLY LOVE the no-contact reservation system. Maybe this is one good thing that has come from the COVID pandemic----it proves the no-contact system CAN work. It was very seamless and smooth. The facility has met and even exceeded my expectations; The isles are generally much wider than at other storage chains. This way, it's much easier to back your van or truck right up to the door rather than to have to park parallel to it. This makes it much easier and faster to unload and load. Good job!

I was looking around for indoor, climate-controlled storage, and when I walked into this CubeSmart location, Katie helped me with everything I hoped to find. This is a place to store my stuff, so I wasn’t expecting an incredible customer service situation, but I got one. It was enough to convince me to pay a little higher price than I had intended just to know who I was working with and what to expect. I would highly recommend them. Also worth noting, I met the general manager, Kristie, who was also pleasant to work with. I also went to a different CubeSmart location, initially, which pointed me to this one for the climate controlled units. I didn’t catch her name, but I’m grateful for the extra help.

Their gate was broken... so anyone could drive in. Cars will come in behind you and let you put your code in and drive though without putting a code in. They should fix that so that multibal cars are not driving into the facility on 1 code. Each customer should be made to put their code in. How do you know if that person is really a unit holder? Plus I found mouse droppings on one of my containers. That is a real problem!!!!

I've been with CubeSmart for about 4 yrs now and am very pleased with their service. They have various units of all different sizes; indoor and outdoor options (climate control). One thing I dislike is that there's no dumpster to use if you need to dispose of anything. Another think I dislike is that the fee raises annually and a decent sized , climate controlled unit is already expensive.

Everyone at this location is absolutely phenomenal they all went above and beyond to help me and to make sure that I had the best possible experience. Scott went out of his way to try to jump my car and get it running for 45 minutes, then offered to put the new battery in for me. Katie then helped me get in touch with a mechanic to help me with a possible car engine problem and hooked me up with a mechanic personally. CubeSmart is simply AMAZING! My sister just relocated from the Mid-West with a drive over 13hrs. Prior to her arrival she made reservations at a Public Storage location in the Laurel area. We where excited about her new journey and expected to have a smooth move in transition. Unfortunately, when we arrived the property manager was very unwelcoming and wouldn’t accommodate our on-line reservation. He instructed us to go to their “sister- location” which was a complete inconvenience. However, we wanted to get this task over with. So we followed his instructions. Long story short, we arrived to the other Public Storage location and the office was closed with no property manger on site as promised. In that moment, we were so frustration and disappointed with their service. This is where CubeSmart stepped in to SAVE the DAY! We noticed their location across the street from the Public Storage and walked over to get prices. Immediately, when we walked in Kristie Witte and Scott Dunnigan greeted us with professionalism and awesome hospitality! With in moments my sister was all moved and ready to GO! Katie and Kristie is the absolute best! I found the 10X10 storage out of the whim at a n unbeatable price. I was there for like 7 months. Now when i needed access to my unit and it was my fault for paying my bill late they would allow me access because they saw me as a person. When I moved out, they even prorated me which helped me out a lot because most places would never do that! Seriously I wouldn’t go to another CubeSmart than this one. Real Talk! These are some good people.

I have been trying to reach the Regional Manager since October 4th. I spoke to another Regional Manager twice and she sent him a message twice asking him to contact me. Ive left voicemails a d no response. The store manager was rude. I was assured he would call in 24 hours that never happened. This is truly bad customer service. I'm still waiting on a call back.

*The GM Robin is hurting your company** The staff makes all the difference and for the most part the rest of the staff is amazing but the general manager Robin at the laurel location is by far the RUDEST MOST ILL MANNERED UNTRAINED GM i have ever spoken to. the only reasons i didn't give one star was due to the other staff and DM. if you look at the other reviews they are regarding the other staff and not her. your job as a manager is to de-escalate a situation not make the caller angrier after the call when they were not angry to begin with. she needs to be retrained on how to speak with a customer because she will single handedly tarnish the positive customer service aspect your company is trying to establish.

MY PARTING GIFT FROM THIS FACILITY WAS....ROACHES!!!!I would not recommend this storage place. My wallet was stolen out of my moving truck and the staff tried to help, but was not concerned. When asked for the person's name what was in the area, they could not show me any policy in place, just kept saying it's the policy. Take your business somewhere else.

Buyer beware! This place has high turnover in management and staff. They have also had several units broken into and no cameras over a large portion on the grounds. So no one gets caught. Somehow the criminals new where to go to not be caught on camera. The doors break often. On my last visit to get my things out there was another woman angry that they required her to make an appointment then had only one person there to help all the people in line for the same appointment time. It took 40 minutes to get to her to start her paperwork and she had movers waiting in her. Movers were being paid by the hours. The worst thing is the staff up to management don't really seem to care about the issues they are creating for people.

Total bait & switch. They offer 50% off the first month, but then charge an "administrative fee" of $25. For a 5x5 unit, $50 a month it basically means that deal if just false advertising. Also, after I waited almost 30 minutes to be helped, I was told I'd also have to have insurance which is an additional $12 a month. None of this is advertised on their site and they wait until you are in to tell you. There are more affordable storage options in the surrounding areas. I was able to find a different one, offering the 1st month free without any sketchy behavior that is also gated. Save your money!

I had an extremely pleasant visit at CubeSmart. I was greeted by Emmanuel (Mannie) who is a manager at this location. He was very pleasant, up beat and extremely helpful. My mom and I were happy with the service provided. Mannie was knowledgeable and made the visit fun. He showed us the unit I was looking for and helped me complete my paperwork. It was an easy processs and I am extremely satisfied with the customer service provided. The property is neat and very secure. I would recommend this Cube Smart, if you are thinking about storing your personal belongings.I appreciated the service Mannie!!! This is my second time using this facility. I've been using these folks for over a year and I have always been happy with the service they provide. Their customer service has been superb. An example today was when I walked into the office to use the restroom. The attendant was apparently on a personal call and before I even finished walking in the door he told his caller "Hang on a second.. Actually, never mind. Bye." *CLICK* He then jumped to his feet, ready to help me. It is so rare these days come across businesses that value customer service. I only do the reviews when something really sticks out for me. Cube Smart is one of those businesses.
