I’ve been here for almost a year while being here the price went up two months later. Now that it is summertime the climate control does not feel like any different than being outside. Today I went to my unit to organize it so I can get ready for my move next month and I realized there was a lot of spiders and ants and dead bugs in my unit towards the front. This is the first time that I called the office and someone was actually there. No one is ever on sight. Her name was Yvonne. She was working with another customer so I went down in person to speak with her. I said I was coming down here because there’s insects, dead bugs and spiders in my unit. Beofore I can finish my sentence, she cut me off and said baby I got bugs and spiders in my house right now too! I’m the customer I did not initially go down there to complain, but to seek help. I keep a key chain thermometer with me because of the work I do. My unit temperature was 86 degrees. And the office thermostat was set at 78. I had to eventually say to her if you would let me talk and stop cutting me off I can explain to you that I was coming for help, but instead, I’d rather have corporate number since I can’t get my point across. She said the unit is climate controlled. It’s not supposed to be really cool. There isn’t places that has climate control that don’t have bugs. Ma’am I beg your pardon, I have never experienced anything like this in my life. The units that I have put my things in that were climate controled was cold. So cold to where I can wear a sweater and be comfortable moving my belongings. The hallways are never vacuumed there has been a dead frog by my unit since I moved in Sep 23’. They clearly don’t use pest control. For the price it shouldn’t be no issues its only about 20-30 units that are climate controlled! Eventually, she offered to come up and spray my unit, in which she should have been offered from the start to de-escalate the issue at hand.

Very nice staff. However I’m Dissatisfied with the inability to credit my account for the difference of the total cost for moving out mid billing cycle. I was told the day of moving out that i wasn’t supposed to pay my bill online, on time by the way. I moved out 3Aug my bill was due 22Jul. I informed the receptionist the day o signed up for storage that my military movers were coming on a specific date she said i shouldn’t use autopay and everything will be fine. The day off was a different story.

I had to look up the reviews for this place before I contacted them, and the reviews did not lie. Coming from out of state, I felt safe with this place. The manager called me a few days before I were to arrive to confirm anything, really helpful. I went into the office for a few things, and she was just as polite as she was on the phone. The lot is clean, and finding the cube was easy. 10/10 recommend.

I have been a customer there almost 5 years and since I’ve been there.The service has always been an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Like for instance when I would need to pay my bill they wouldn’t just tell me how much my bill was. But make my experience comfortable by asking me by my first name mr. Jermaine how was your day and how is everything going. And most day that very important to me because by the time I go in to pay my bill. It’s usually the end of a work day and most days that could be overwhelming at times but jus for the fact that they asked. Shows me that they didn’t just look at me like a paying customer and just doing there job. But make it a more personal experience with them offering me even more support if needed. Like one time miss Tonya asked me about how my day was and I told her that I wasn’t to happy about it and she asked me what happened. So I told her I have to get up early in the morning like 12:45 am to be here to get my truck to start working. And this particular morning The gate would not allow me access into the property. And there know one to help me at that time that I could talk to. So I had to go back home until The regular access time will allow me to get in to get my truck to start working. So she apologize for the inconvenience and told me moving forward that she will give me her personal number if that should happen again to call her. And she said I’ll see to it that you’ll get in next time to get your truck to go to work on time. I was so pleased to hear that and very thankful for her going out of her way to make it as convenient for me to get access to my vehicle. But not only that there has been many times that my drivers have left the lights on in my vehicle and she will call me and let me know or turn them off for me.

When i was shown a unit to reserve it was quite dirty. The manager on duty assured me that it would be clean when i moved in a week a later... when my movers arrived the day of to store my things they informed me the unit was not cleaned..i was told by the manager that he didn't have time to clean it because he was the only one on duty. I also was told i could reserve a truck for the entire day just to find out te day before moving i only could use it for 4 hours.

I must admit that I was skeptical at first, however, upon visiting the property the very first time, I was delighted by the friendliness of the staff and very VERY happy with the competitive rental rates offered. The use of the free truck was what sealed the deal for me.

This location is very pleasant, very polite and the property is very clean. The staff is prompt and very professional. I will always consider this location before I am to go to any other location. I have used this location before and I encountered the SAME staff- so that means that this location does not have a HIGH TURN OVER, which I am proud of.... So thank u CubeSmart!

I had a great experience at this location. The staff was very friendly. Rayeann was very pleasant during our check in. She made sure we understood the rules and how to get in and out of the facility. We will definitely use this storage facility in the future.

My wife and I were in search of a Self Storage Facility for temporary storage. We had planned to visit three storage facilities to determine which one would best suit our needs. Upon arriving at CubeSmart (Westphalia Location), we received an inviting and pleasant greeting by Ms. Rayeann Al-Shaw. We were very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of not only the storage facility where she works but with others in the nearby area as well. Her pleasant and professional demeanor along with the cleanliness and location of the self storage facility led us to rent at her location right on the spot!

I have had great experiences with Cube Smart and this is solely due to the professionalism, competence, lovely personality and continuous service with a smile given by RayAnne. She has always been extremely helpful from determining the size of unit needed to answering all my questions without hesitation and always in a friendly manner. She is always very kind when I ask her to repeat something said just to ensure I understand. I must say it's always a refreshing experience dealing with her. I certainly hope she is appreciated and very well taken care of by "Upper Management". She is the type of employee any organization would be very proud to have and groom for Upward Mobility. I definitely had a "WOW" experience this evening at store number 0577, 8410 Westphalia Rd, Upper Marlboro, MD. I was promptly greeted with a smile by both representatives on duty. I was assisted by Ms. LaTonia Grooms, who was very courteous, very polite, very knowledgable, and extremely helpful with processing my order for a storage unit. She really took the time to show me around the facility, she explained in detail the agreement for which I was entering into, and did so with a very warm smile and inviting personality. I would definitely feel "warm & fuzzy" doing business with Ms. Grooms in the future. In addition to the above mentioned, the facility inside and outside is well kept, from the clean office space, to the well maintained exterior. It was certainly just that... A "WOW" EXPERIENCE!!! My hat is tipped toward Ms. LaTonia Groom! She's an excellent representative for CubeSmart. THANK YOU!!!!!

I found this location and had the pleasure of speaking to Rayeann who is one of the facility manager. She was so helpful in assisting me that I was sold. Rayanne was very professional and friendly. However, I did not get a month free (which) was disappointing, since I am a new customer) and I am unsure if I was even given the option once I booked online. And I was unaware of the $12 insurance fee when I arrived.

My fiance and I searched a few places for storage. However, we are absolutely pleased that we found Cube Smart. The office closed at 6:00pm and we arrived at 5:45pm, but this did not affect or deter the great customer service we received from LaTonia Grooms. She was amazing and did not seem to mind braving the harsh weather conditions to show us three storage units that were available. Of course we chose the last option. Her pleasant attitude was totally refreshing. LaTonia went above and beyond to ensure that our storage needs were met and that we comfortable with the contract details. Get the first month free with 10-15% off. I only had to pay an admin fee of $22 plus $12 for insurance. The facility is gated and they have an online payment system for monthly rent. They also offer a free truck with the rental unit however, on the day I arrived the truck was broken. Nonetheless the truck is a full-sized moving truck and large enough for most moves. Latonia took great care of me and answered all of my questions with ease. My unit was clean, spacious, and being that it was outdoors, moving in was breeze.

Can't say enough positive remarks about the facility managers Frederick and Jennifer! Very helpful and friendly. I rented a unit here for approx 4 years and all in all, facility was always kept clean. Outside of the expected dust, my belongings were in the same condition as when I first left them. Never had issues with leaks or anything else. Prices were pretty competitive. Definitely recommend this storage facility, especially if Frederick and Jennifer continue to manage it.
