Well, foremost it's inexpensive. And they did place the lock to our unit conveniently inside it. However there isn't even one luggage trolley or dolly which I naively assumed was a given in an indoor access storage area, so plan ahead on that. I didn't sense there was any living being on-site either so plan on that too. But did I mention it was the cheapest option I found? That is worth something too.i don't need my junk to live in luxury.

On the positives: - it was a fine storage space. Access, security, etc. For our organization to be able to use it with multiple users, etc. was great. Climate controlled, etc. They also made it easy to move out. One time we also forgot the lock key and they promptly came out and cut the lock off after verifying my identity. Easy. On the "needs development" side: - App access was terrible and we never used it. - The units have no lighting inside so we ended up keeping a set of headlamps so we could actually see things. - The rate increases each year made it financial untenable by the end (they should be more forthright about how these rates work)...it was a 60% increase in fees over the course of 3 years. - the garage doors tend to pool water after it rains, making splashy puddles that you have to be careful about when you're trying to bring in/out larger loads (we were moving road cases) - would be great to have some way you could also pay to have dumpster access or something like that

They give you 50% off the first month, and then charge you what is supposed to be your permanent rate according to your contract. Then every 3 to 6 months they add $3 to $15 onto your rent, then they do it again, then they do it again, then in under a year and a half you went from very reasonable rate to double your once reasonable rate, and now fairly unreasonable rate. Even more fun, the listed rate on the website, less than you're rate, even if not considering the official promo rate. And yes, I understand the promo rate should be lower, I just don't understand how the current rate advertised to a new customer after the promo should be less than my current rate that's been raised a shocking number of times in a year and a half. I never had issues with cleanliness or anything like that, though. The latter is to the second level. Lockers were a little bit on the older side and sometimes felt a little bit wobbly when you are bringing stuff up and down them, but doable.

The only negative part of the experience was that my unit’s door kept rolling down on me as I was moving in and out. If this could get fixed it’s an easy 10/10.

CubeSmart has a good system that let me do this at my schedule, and the GM Michael was great about giving me what I needed to get the job done, minus the headaches. Our furnitures, including the monitor and mattress, got really Wet, appearing disgusting, and cannot be used anymore !!!!!!!! I uploaded the images with thIs comment and somehow bring deleted. The manager was very very rude to us when we asked about the damages. We bought the insurance according to Storage’s suggestion, but It’s been a year since we tried to contact the customer service and no one ever respond to our email. Terrible experience! Will not recommend this to anyone.

At signing, I was told there was no rodent problem at this location, that it was well cleaned and maintained, and that if there ever were signs of rodents they would address it immediately. I returned one week later to grab something from my unit and found rat poop all over the unit. Another week later, I found more rat poop this time on my things. When I spoke to the front desk about it, I was told that they would not do anything about it, that “this is Boston” and that “that’s every storage place.” So I moved my things out and cancelled my account. I feel scammed bc they refused to refund any of my initial fees.

The staff at this CubeSmart are amazing. If they see you around the facility, they'll stop and Hi and you how everything is going. The facility itself is clean and well-lit. I have felt safe with every visit, even when I was there by myself bringing items to/from my vehicle. Poor management for the 11 months I had a unit there. Lack of maintenance, broken access doors, trash under the units. The last month seemed better but lack of access from the nearest bus stop made keeping through the winter a bad idea.

We had a phenomenal experience at Cube Smart! We needed last minute storage for our Boston College student’s stuff over Winter Break. This Cubesmart location is excellent on several fronts. The grounds and building hallways are always clean and free of debris. But the best aspect is customer service. I have had quite a few deliveries and special pickups to arrange for my unit. Joe was phenomenal. He always made sure the deliveries went into my unit promptly. When I went in today to get some boxes ready in my unit and needed to arrange for a courier to come pick them up, both Michael and Joe were there. They made note of the days and times for my pickups. I felt completely reassured that the situation would be taken care of.

I've been a customer at this site for many years and many owners, and CubeSmart is the best. If you have a problem, they take care of it right away. And an extra shout-out to Angelic, who fanastic, really hard-working, super-helpful, personable and caring. Angelic makes this CubeSmart outstanding and 5-star. (And she has a different hairstyle every time I come in! What fun!)

Whoever the manager is or clerk is absolutely rude and unprofessional (asked her if could understand her). She failed to do her job; charged me for rent a month after the unit was vacant. We spoke directly prior to the move-out and she failed to simply do her job. She needs to be fired.

The customer service at this location is very friendly and efficient. Angelic showed me various available spaces and we found one that suited my needs perfectly. Everything was clearly explained and I got my things stored away with the minimum of time and trouble. I would definitely recommend CubeSmart in if you are looking for storage facility in the Allston-Brighton area of Boston.

This place is spotless! Angelique was amazing!! She was able to quickly show us a unit and even dusted the storage locker, I repeat, she dusted the storage locker and it wasn’t even dirty. Don’t waste your money with the other guys, store here!

No mention online or when I booked by phone that the locker units are 10 feet off the ground with no way to get heavy things inside and no help offered by staff. Wasted money and time coming to find this out.

Angelic was very warm and welcoming! I had a reservation for public storage and was given poor customer service and after I left I seen Cubesmart a couple of doors down. I went inside and was Instantly welcomed. Angelic had no problem with showing me what size cube she had available and I did not need a reservation! Awesome service! I will be returning it I ever need storage again.

Angelic is very kind and helpful! I just recently moved to the area and needed somewhere to store my stuff for a few months. I was able to easily make a reservation online and come into the store within a few hours that same day. Angelic helped me immediately get moving as soon as I arrived and was kind enough to answer all my questions and concerns about getting a storage unit for the first time. The facilities are also clean and more spacious than I was anticipating. Would definitely recommend!

i had an amazing experience with this particular cube smart. I was unsure of the size storage unit i needed and had lots of questions and concerns, i spoke with a really kind young woman named angelic whom helped us tremendously. She showed us multiple units available and made sure we were ok with the final result. I would recommend this place again as long as you dont have to deal with the homeless looking one

False price advertising. Needed a 5'X5' unit. Online prices already show a 15% discount from $38 to $32.30 with first month free (Admin fees are $24 so not really FREE). What they fail to include on their prices is that there is a $12 MANDATORY INSURANCE. Which essentially boosts the price from $38 to $50. In other words, if you have a mandatory fees to get a unit include that in prices!!!

I booked my space online after comparing the prices with competitors like Public Storage and CubeSmart was quite the steal, especially for a location so close to the city! I soon got a call from the store manager, Tye who I met the following day to check the space out and officially get a hold of it. She was extremely understanding, helpful and friendly and got me sorted out in no time. I've been to this location before as well (didn't purchase storage then) and even then I encountered very helpful and friendly staff which is always a great thing. I don't generally write reviews but this experience was so great that it really compelled me to do so! I highly highly recommend going to this CubeSmart at Brighton!

Absolutely the friendliest and most understanding/accommodating folks. Moving and finding places to keep your things for months on end is never easy, but CubeSmart in Brighton was by far and away the cheapest/most convenient option I could find, and every one of the people I interacted with there went above and beyond to help me out and make the process as painless as possible. Definitely recommend.

What can I say about Kai that hasn't already been said about. This man was absolutely beyond helpful. I was fortunate enough to experience his work ethic at the East Boston location recently. The guy is sincere, honest, and tremendously helpful. It's been a tough year moving with a lot of scheduling issues on my part, yet he was willing to work with me in order to resolve whatever issue that may arise. I was able to get a lot of things done because of him. It's rare to come across people like Kai nowadays, just hope there are more of him out there. From now on, I'm going to refer him to all my friends and colleagues.

As a spacey unorganized art student....being able to figure out how much storage to fit all my stuff took three tries over a two day period. Kai not only dealt with my crazy self flailing everywhere, was super nice and helped me through it in ways that went beyond what he's paid for I'm sure. He took the time to make sure it was the best possible solution every time my plans changed or I hit a roadblock and had switch something. I feel comfortable leaving my stuff there during my time away. Took a situation I was panicking hardcore over and made it manageable. Super super awesome.
