I'm giving this place 5 stars because Liz and Beth were so awesome! Otherwise, the place itself and the company only get 3 stars at best. The facilities were not very clean, with dustballs and debris always evident in the hallways. Considering the rates kept going up, the fact that there were obvious signs of water damage in the building makes me wonder where those fees are going ('cause they're definitely not going into the maintenance and cleaning of the building).

Needed a rental same day. Looked online because of the time I needed it. Spoke to a representative through a chat window on the website, and within 10 minutes I was reserved. For the past 5 years we have used the Gardner CubeSmart to store a car or small trailer when we travel. We chose them initially for the convenience (5 minutes from the relatives we visit) and the pricing (best deal around!). Facility is huge, and there are plenty of options for storage unit sizes. Easy in and out with personal security code to get in door and need a code for elevator. Can park two vehicles right at the door and plenty of parking. Many carts are available, and there are bathrooms. Plenty of security cameras and motion-sensing lighting. Temperature is nice and mild and temperature controlled, no need to worry about huge fluctuations with your valuables. Staff is fast, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

For my needs I required something closer to the outside and the attendant gave me a tour around the facility. I noticed the high level of cleanliness while looking for a unit. Great elevator access, there's a lot of units so locating yours may be a challenge at first depending where it is in the building, especially when coordinating a move with heavy furniture. They do provide carts which are a great help! A bit pricy for some units, but it's climate controlled and staffed so that's understandable

When I got there they didn't have the unit I needed so they offered me a bigger unit at the same price. Then six seven months later my rent is triple with no warning when I went to resolve this I had to argue and make a scene on my insistency that I was not paying more than my regular monthly payment. Then I offered them to give me the unit I originally wanted for the same price and they wouldn't even do that they wanted to charge me $8.00 more per month than what I was paying for the "FREE" upgraded unit. In the end I told them I was paying my regular monthly bill and I would have it out by the end of the month and go somewhere else, and they let me walk. Also be ready to buy insurance for your unit before you move in that they don't tell you about until you get there, and is something that they sell as an option; but yet is "REQUIRED" to rent a unit from them?

I wish I had the experience that some others reported for this facility. Staff was nice, and unit started out clean. But two months into my storage time, the building had major flooding due to heavy rains and a leaky roof and a number of units had water damage. Fortunately I only had puddles and dampness around my unit. Six months into my storage time they raised the rent by 10%; I thought my rate was locked in for the first year. Biggest problem was that there was heavy machinery moving around the floor above my unit, and I had a fine layer of GRIT raining down on my stuff. I didn't have everything under drop cloths or in boxes, so the exposed stuff was a gritty mess. When I reported this to the staff they just shrugged and blamed it on the people working overhead, as if nothing could be done about. So I covered EVERYTHING in my unit with drop cloths until I moved out. I was also renting in another state from Life Storage and my experience with that company was exemplary.

This was our first experience using a self storage facility. We are very happy with our experience from start to finish. One of the best features of Cube Smart was that a person answered the phone instead f a machine. Both staff people we talked with were helpful and friendly. Chantel signed us in and explained the features of the facility. The building is extremely clean, well lit and safe. The price was the best in the area. We would definitely use the facility again and recommend it to anyone looking for a storage facility.

Chantel was fantastic!!! I was in and out quickly with exactly what I needed! As far as access, I have been traveling and they are very accommodating with my schedule. Building is clean inside & out, they sell supplies on site and the free use of carts makes it so very easy!

Was able to store my belongings in a safe dry space until I could get back to empty it out! Very happy with the facilities as I always felt safe coming and going! Service was great, just wish someone was available all hours of the day...

The manager at this site is awful.samantha is her name,she doesn’t help you,she rips you off with fees.has the fake how can I help attitude then proceeds to screw you over.buyer beware never use this site!!!

We had the best experience ever here, the staff was amazing, kind, and helpful of all needs. Chantel and Sam were beyond fourth coming from when we stepped in the door. They were so nice and I couldn't have any more better things to say then this place is amazing ! Come here!!

the place itself is very nice but finalizing my unit i had a different experience. the woman that i was working with failed to mention that i could provide my own lock and instead just assumed and charged me for one of their locks. she then didn't inform me that there was 3 options for the insurance which you are required to have and pay for each month. she charged me for the most expensive one without even asking if that's the one i wanted. it was not until i got home and looked at the paperwork, that was handed to me after already paying, and noticed there was 3 options for the insurance. so the $24 payment i was told that that's all i needed to for moving day actually turned into $90. and the $86 a month payment for my tiny 5x10 (the only size they had available) turned into $120. IF SHE HAD JUST INFORMED ME ABOUT WHAT MY OPTIONS WERE FOR BOTH THESE ITEMS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE, SEEING AS I HAD A LOCK FOR MY UNIT AND I DO NOT NEED $5,000 INSURANCE POLICY ON IT. MY STUFF IS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE BUT SHE DID NOT.

I am very happy with my experience here. I recently moved and first I didn't know if I would need storage, or if I did, what size unit to get. So I started off with purchasing their moving box kit. It was $50 and came with various sizes of boxes, 2 rolls of packing tape, a marker, and some bubble wrap. I thought that was a pretty good value for the convenience of it. Then when I decided what size storage I would need I went back for that. I ended up getting a 10 x 7 unit and it fit a lot more than I thought it would. I have a long couch, a couple bureaus, a desk, other miscellaneous furniture, and lots of boxes of the rest of my stuff. I have to stay somewhere temporarily so I fit most of my apartment in there. One thing I especially liked was that the top of my unit has ventilation so you don't get that musty type smell like a closet after leaving things in there awhile. I met both of the lovely ladies that work there. They are super personable and will answer all of your questions. I also love the free coffee lol. Overall I feel like I got a great value for the money spent and I feel confident that my belongings are kept in a safe and clean environment. The door is easy to access and they have some carts to help unload your things. I'd highly recommend this place.

The ladies in the office were extremely welcoming and made the experience very easy. The tour helped so much with finding our unit, even taking the time to make sure my access number actually worked. Everything was explained so that I could understand it. I think they are great girls!! And of course I love the fact it's all climate controlled and our unit is brand new. Also, very impressed with the fact they have clean bathrooms as well, especially right near our unit, it's very convenient! The one thing I would recommend is getting some more trolleys then just 3.

Very impressed with the service I received here. The CubeSmart manager brought us around to show us the different sizes of units and made sure we had the best one available. Renting process was fast and efficient, and the prices are reasonable for indoor climate-controlled units. Would be happy to recommend to anyone.

Every interaction has been pleasant. From the time you walk through the door and meet your agent all the way up to when you conclude your business. They have a clean state of the art monitored facility that makes sure your belongings are in good hands and walk you through everything so you never feel rushed, pressured, or uncomfitable. This is definitely one of the best storage facilities around and i would recommend any and everybody to come on by.

My experience with CubeSmart was perfect! Right when I walked into the building, Samantha Barr the manager working was instantly helpful. She welcomed me in, she asked me what can she do for me. I sat right down and told her I had a few questions, so she listened to what I had to say and answered my questions right away. That I needed to pay for a storage unit but I was unsure of how to do so and time wise since I was getting furniture for the next day. She told me that's no problem and no worries, you just come here with your uhaul truck and that she wouldn't be here but Chantelle will be here to help you just as much as she would. Miss Barr insisted that we will reserve the unit she already had showed me for that day so I had an idea of the size, but also comforted me not to worry if you need a bigger size depending on all of my furniture that we will work with you. Miss Barr inputted my information, she sat me down and told me little more about Cubesmart along with referring a friend can be most helpful for them and for myself! I learned that the company covers say if water damage or any major event took place they cover it. Lots of very good support I felt here with Miss Barr and what Cubesmart has to offer. Before I left, she told me good luck with the furniture, if any questions do not hesitate to ask here or her co worker Chantelle! Miss Barr also definitely again made me feel very comfortable and much better about support for my big day for Saturday. So on Saturday I came to Cubesmart with my truck and my furniture and just as Miss Barr told me Chantelle would be there as she was. Chantelle without hesitation very welcoming! She instantly showed me and my boyfriend around to the unit I had reserved but joe ever ended up getting a size up! After the show of the unit, she immediately had me go and set up the paperwork as my boyfriend moved in the furniture into the unit. The computer set up was extremely helpful and easy! Chantelle was more than helpful and answered all of my questions!!! Made me feel more at home too! She showed me my lock and key, and the best way to put the lock on along with making sure my code worked outside before I left. Chantelle and Samantha are amazing at the job that they do there and I recommend anyone to come here with them with great service! The storage unit is brand new and willing to work with you, care about you! I will be recommending my own friends and family here if they ever need help with finding a great and helpful place to in trust their belongings. If anyone ever needs this help I would tell them go to Cubesmart in Gardner or even other store that Miss Barr or Chantelle would be working at!!! Thanks again for the help means everything!

Chantel Bissonnette, who works at cube smart in Gardner MA, made our experience there a very pleasant one! She was extremely friendly and helpful with showing us all the sizes that Cube Smart offers at their location in Gardner, MA. I would recommend that everyone ask for her when they do business there!!!!!
