The manager Nicole is very unprofessional, she’s rude, shes lazy, she’s racist and doesn’t know how to talk to people, she is completely an awful person. Met with Nicole at the Haverhill CubeSmart she was happy, helpful and polite. She made the paperwork easy explained the fees and also found an upgraded deal for me after discussing options. Communication and customer service are two things you won’t get in this location. I purchase auction units and was offered a unit through this facility. Nicole, “The manager”, reached out to confirm details the day before and I stressed to her that I would be traveling quite a way to claim this unit. I arrived to unit next day after driving 2 and a half hours to be told that the account had been settled with the tenant the day before. I received no call the day before and was given a nasty attitude when walking in to claim unit as if it was my fault for wasting my time and gas. Never again, will I do business with this location.

Service is great and so are the units. Only thing I would say about this location is that it should be cleaned and sprayed for bug/rodents. I know warehouses get them (I work for one myself) but still off putting when you're storing your personal belongings in it. Other than that, it's been great and convenient.

been here a few years, but now that I have accessed my stuff & have noticed the severe rodent problem & every unit is essentially open for business for them as the ceilings and walls don't isolate your belongings to just yours when it comes to rats. I don't blame them, but time to modify the location by sealing off ceilings with more than chicken wire & assuring the walls don't allow visitors from neighboring units.

Staff member Nicole was very professional and helpful. But the hale st. Cubesmart backside entrance needs more security. Strange characters posted by open entranceway , would be great if gate could be closed but was told that its not allowed for some reason that don't make sense, at least install motion sensors with bright lights facing away from houses so not to bother across the street and motion sensing cameras at entrance. With the technology we have now, it should be easy to secure the back entrance better. Security guard can be a plus as well. Other spots are fenced in.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Our experience with CubeSmart in Haverhill, MA was great at first. We have been customers for more than 3 years. However, we faced issues with 1) construction requiring us to move units (4th floor to 1st floor), 2) payment processing accurately, and 3) RODENT DAMAGE! The latter is most annoying and not much help or guidance was given by the staff. Despite our insurance coverage, it seems there is nothing that can be done for all of the property damage caused by the rodents. I would like to point out, before moving from the 4th floor to the 1st floor, we never had any issues! Disappointing, to say the least.

At first I was happy my first two months in but.when I went into my unit I found rodent feces all over my belongings and they chewed wires on a really expensive e bike.. I was told my insurance im forced to have does not cover it and then now they changed my rate on my unit which I think is very outrageous they didn’t seem to care much when I called.. not sure I recommend them I will be getting another unit

I have rented a cube from CubeSmart in Haverhill, since February 2022. The woman who assisted me, Nicole, was pleasant and extremely helpful especially when I needed to transfer to a smaller cube. The cubes were clean and easy to access. The lighting inside the build was great, and you can use the facilities flatbeds and dollies. I had a great experience with this company and I would recommend using their services.

I have had storage at this location for 6 months and overall a decent experience. I have pre-paid for months in advance. Then at the 6 month mark I received a rate increase of 11%. When I asked the reason why I was informed that automatically it increases every 6-9 months of use. So just beware if you plan on having this for over 6 months that it will keep increasing.

Very satisfied with the rental of the storage unit but feel deceived due to the “free rental” of the truck. I had a 4hour window and placed a $100 dollar cash deposit. I was late by over an hour and expected a fee… not a $100 dollars per hour after each hour fee. All companies have fees, but it should be fully disclosed and highlighted during the reservation of the truck. I received a call 10 minutes prior to the next hour to let me know that an additional $100 dollars was going to be charged to my account. If the intent is to deter customers from utilizing the vehicle from the selected amount shouldn’t the call happen prior to the first charge? Not 10 minutes prior to the second hour and the second charge? It’s a bad impression for a new customer.

Customer service by store manager (#877) is above-par. (written back in 2021 probably). Update on 2/22/2024: I rented a unit on the 6th floor, ending my rental on 2/15/2024 due to my moving out of state. I started my rental with them September of 2021 (to give you context for how long I've been satisfied with Cubesmart satisfying my storage needs). When I first moved into Haverhill, I immediately noticed such amenities endemic to the 15 Hale Street location such as availability of a cargo van for moving in my materials as well as future usage contingent on availability. It's cheaper to rent than a U-Haul. I challenge you to find another storage place with such an advantageous amenity that makes moving from one town to another (especially interstate) less stressful and costly. I noticed over the 3 years I've used Cubesmart that the facility is well maintained and cleaned, usually with a surplus of carts to move materials on ground floors. Also, there's a well maintained restroom conveniently located in proximity to the office, open during office hours. The elevators were convenient to use as well. In addition, there are two main entrances: the front and the rear, preferential access contingent on where my unit was (in my case, the rear was better). An overhead door allowed for entry and exit of bulkier materials heaped on carts. If there were any issues with the door hinge/lock operation, management ensured timely repair by their designated vendor. It was readily apparent that management cyclically toured the premises to ensure everything was in order. At this point, it would be good to mention how effective, diligent, cordial, and exemplary customer service-driven was store manager Nicole and her staff: I have never seen anything like it. Whenever I would call or email, she answered promptly. Honestly this is the best storage place I've ever rented from and am sad that I am moving to a city that doesn't have a Cubesmart because I appreciate how it's business model is run. Also, one of the reasons why I chose this facility is due to, at the time when I started my contract (again, September of 2021) the most economic rates I've googled once I compared to neighbouring storage facilities. This is significant considering what a good deal I've received over 3 years based on everything I've said above. I highly recommend them.

I've had experiences at Other Storage Facilities that would make you Not want to answer your phone. I met with Tracey this morning at CubeSmart. She was very knowledgeable and no-nonsense, which I really liked. The storage facility is a bit of a maze, but once you figure it out it's not too bad. They have locks and packing supplies on hand to buy, which makes moving and storing easy. If for any reason you need to change units, there seems to be a fairly simple process and only a small fee to do it (for example, if you needed something bigger, you would pay the difference). I like that there is a box truck available to make the moving process even easier. It's available for 4 hours at a time, with a $10 fee and $100 cash deposit (which is returned to you once the truck is returned undamaged). Overall a very pleasant experience compared with other storage facilities I've used in the past. I feel like my items will be safe and secure here, and that's what's important.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Been renting with cubeSmart for a couple of years now. ALWAYS PAID MY RENT ON TIME! My rent started out at $180. NOW its up too 291! (Even after a few years, no brake) My rent is ONLY 8.00 off of the online special today. CubeSmart is all about themselves! I get it but where is that custom service for current customers!! I had a few unfortunate family deaths all within months of each other! Last one was very unexpected, my sister at age 43!! Anyway I ran into a deep funk of depression and couldn't get out of my way. Saw Doc eventually whom helped me get back on track again with medications and therapy to make things alittle more bareable in my life. My storage unit had got neglected, and unpaid which went into auction status! I explained what had happened, offered to get them proof of death certificates too, I asked them if they could do anything for me since I HADN'T BEEN LATE BEFORE. (Jesse said he could void the (2) 29.91 late fees.) The computer wouldn't let him do it. He called GM who said since it's in auction status there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR ME! THEY THEN WANTED THE NEW MONTH TOO WHICH STARTED THAT DAY! HE TOLD ME ITS ALL OR NOTHING! HE WOULDN'T EVEN LET THE NEW MONTH WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK. (Have 5 day grace period on current month but that didnt matter) I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WON SOME GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD WHEN THEY HAD NO COMPATION FOR ME WHOM HAD 3 FAMILY DEATHS IN MONTHS AND ALWAYS PAID RENT ON A TIMLY MANNER. HOW VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO FIRST THEY SAY THEY CAN HELP ME THEN TAKE IT BACK CAUSE IT'S IN AUCTION STATUS ??? GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE LOOKING TO HELP THERE VALUED CUSTOMERS??? REALLY?? I THINK NOT!!

If I can rate this place a negative stars I would!! My property has been destroyed!! My unit was tampered with and some else’s belonging where thrown into my unit destroying over half of the property I had in the unit. It took me 4.5hrs to remove my things from the unit and move it another unit with the hopes that belongings will no longer be tampered with. My emotional distress is beyond emotions can describe.

Jessie, the General Manager for Cubesmart in Haverhill was very accommodating in helping with my termination of the storage, there was lack of communication on my end and she was very understanding. She went above and beyond to ensure the ending of the rental agreement went as smooth as possible. I honestly wouldn’t give this facility more than 2 stars but I’d give Jessie more than 5 stars if it were an option as she was the saving grace for this facility. When I initially signed up in May of 2016 my “monthly rent” was $129.00 a month including the insurance. The price was raised twice in my two years renting from cubesmart each time by $10, resulting in my ending rent being $153.00 I understood that was a possibility going forward I just expected it to reflect their online pricing which was cheaper than what I was currently paying. I’m not entirely sure who helped me out when I signed up but I recall her being polite and helpful. The employee even warned me that the freight elevator was constantly out of order which I wasn’t too concerned about since the day I brought in all my furniture it was running perfectly and lucky for me (or so I thought) my storage was right in front of said elevator. The problem came every time there after. I was in and out of that storage roughly 10 times in those two years and the freight elevator would always be out of service, sometimes with an out of order sign posted on the door. My storage being so close to the freight elevator unfortunately meant it was was on the opposite end of the working elevator (which was not as large) so moving things out wasn’t as simple especially considering carts were far and few in between, most of the time I had to scavenge for one. That however is the customers fault although they should have something in place for that not to occur. The lights were flickering upon my last visit to the storage approximately a month ago which could be disastrous for someone suffering from epilepsy or seizures as it’s considered a trigger. I’m unsure if that has been fixed, and to be completely honest I failed to inform an employee. I’m hoping someone is walking the premises regularly and noticed the issue with the light bulb and that it was fixed in a timely manner.

If I could give these people zero stars I would. asked specifically for them not to call me today after checking prices with them repeatedly and had a note put on my reservation not to call me and to contact me by email only to have a representative from this location call me in no less than three hours. They don't care if I was in class if I was in a medical appointment or in court and they won't care about you either. Save yourself the time and effort and go with a different storage company. oh and by the way they advertise prices a lot lower than they actually are- they say you get your first month half off and then tag a half a month administrative fees on to it and make you pay for an additional $12 a month in insurance.

My roommate and I chose this location because they had the best prices in the area. The facility is in an old mill building that has been converted to storage which is really cool. The online reservation system was easy to use and when we arrived the unit was all ready for us. The unit was on on on elf the top floors but the loading dock and elevator on the first floor are easy to access and close to each other. The facility also has big rolling carts you can use to transport your items through the hallways to your unit. Overall the experience so far has been great.

The price was the best compared to all the other storage facilities around and the check in process was easy. However there was not a large selection of units in the size I needed on the first floor. The elevator in the front is a freight elevator and is broken and being serviced at least 3x a week forcing everyone to use the back entrance and other elevator that might not be convienient to your units location. Inside the unit there are two large beams that take up quite a bit of space so in reality my unit is not 10x10 but I am still paying the price for it which I am sour about. In all, it's a cheap facility and I wish I went and checked it out before paying.

Since I rented a storage cube here in October 2016, either the passenger or one of the freight elevators has been broken. When they had to renovate the 6th floor they had "movers" transfer my things from one unit to another, and when I went to pick up my things last week, my $400 headboard was damaged, my $100 ottoman was scratched, and they broke an antique picture worth at least $100. The rest of my stuff was covered in dirt/dust from the construction above it. When I reported this to the manager Debra, she said she would get back to me about a refund. My refund was $114.00, and I was never contacted directly. Unacceptable. I would never use them again.

CubeSmart at Haverhill, MA is the perfect fit for my storage needs. The historic six floor building in the heart of town can't be missed with it red stripe around the roof. Two minutes away from 495 down 97, loading docks in the front and back of building allow you to unload quickly into carts or freight elevators. Debra, the general manager is skilled at solving your moving and storage issues. She understands the business and building and is always willing to help. I have storage in other CubeSmarts but prefer the Haverhill location because of recent renovation. There are a huge number of brand new lockers and a new elevator is being installed.

We searched the surrounding local area for storage and found there to be several. From a price perspective, CubeStorage offered the best value. Additionally, s a Veteran, I was able to receive a further discount. Fortunately, we did choose CubeSmart Storage for several reasons: Spacious cube with several sizes available Easy access to our storage cube with loading docks, freight elevators and access for a significant part of the day and night Interior lighting Dollies to move our storage goods And - equally important, staff. We particularly found Deborah (spelling?) great to work with - she is very helpful and pleasant to work with.
