Run dont rent here! We rented a unit because we are selling our house. Our closing date is 9/6. We make our payment for the month on the 3rd. I let them know last week when our closing date was and asked about prorating the unit and she immediately said they dont do that and I have to pay the whole month. $289.00!! I asked why, she was very rude and dismissive and said its the policy and there was no way around it. I said thats insane even if it was a half month fine , but I have to pay the whole month for 3 days she said yes. She was unapologetically rude and smug and happy to deliver this news. I called cube smart when I got home and they said that yes it was the policy, but the store manager can waive that and prorate, I advised that was the store manager I was speaking to and she didnt mention that at all and flat out said no. The customer service rep said said that it is up to her and they cant over ride decision. Like I said I could understand If I was going to be there 3 weeks, but to charge me a full month if Im going to be there 3 days is reprehensible and it is robbery. Hopefully someone will see this and it will change their mind about renting a unit from these people, who are obviously miserable and just want other people to be as well.

We are currently in the process of selling our home which will probably take some months. We have been checking local self service places to get a feel for cost size etc. We stopped at Cubesmart in Holbrook ma. drenda greeted us and went over what was offered and how we would need to use it. Her understanding of our need where the best. We returned to rent unit she gave us tips on how best to store and overall access,locking etc. While dropping off first load she came by to make sure we were all set. Beware! This storage unit in Holbrook was fine at first, acceptable monthly rate. Then it increased every 3 months. By the time I left I would have been paying $100/monthly….FOR THE SMALLEST UNIT… a 5x5. They don’t work with you if you can’t afford the space. And even paying on the app costs you a small fee! My new storage place, is amazing!!! Indoor climate controlled, and exceptionally reasonable pricing. Managers at CubeSmart are courteous but that’s about it. When asked about the horrendous price increase they said it’s “street rate,” like when you rent an apartment. That’s insane! Thank you cube smart for making my move to another storage facility that much easier. If you want mouse droppings all over your stuff and mouse poisoning just piled in the unit without your knowledge, then by all mean rent from them. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.

My experience way Jay at Cube Smart in Holbrook was excellent. I walked through the door at 5:55pm on on Thursday , knowing they close at 6: pm A long move in front of me and my truck was packed with stuff to store. Worst storage company I’ve ever used, I had to contact them 5 times and threaten legal action to get them close my account so I wasn’t charged an extra month for literally no reason, there’s no way to close your account online and and there sales people don’t hold customer records. I had a reservation and i arrived to the store at 10am and the doors where locked . I waited 45 minutes well I called two difference customer service representatives to just let me know that can’t get ahold of the store manager or main office . I couldn’t move my stuff in without signing my contract and I drove around with my stuff in my uhal as I tried to call at 1pm and finally got someone at rhe office and thats when they told me the person that was suppose to open did a no call no show. I Asked if their was something they could do considering half of my day was gone and I was paying a sitter to move hourly . The man told me no and refused to give me a name or number foe the store mangers information. Not to happy with their service

Was looking for a place to store my motorcycle for winter and they have it. Mngr George and staff were very professional. Was treated as if they valued my business. They explained everything very clearly. The prices were very reasonable. The facility is clean and monitored. Checked on GoogleEarth. Place is 150' above sea level with no rivers around and water drains down to back of their property, so I don't anticipate water related issues. Could not have asked for a more positive experience. Once again, horrible customer service! They screw up my auto pay and then want me to pay extra money to pay online. They call and ask me to call back; I call back for over two hours with no answer. I leave message with no call back! And apparently they can’t grasp how to change info in the computer. Twice I requested a name change and twice the told me I was all set and still not done! Horrible! I don’t know about any other locations but the one in Holbrook, Ma. is unprofessional to say the least! P.S. Ya, well, I got a hold of them. This was the second month my auto pay didn’t work. I called a few days ago inquiring about it and ready to pay over phone but the guy I spoke to said it would probably be coming out later that day or next day. Well, needless to say I paid today over phone and when I checked my bank, instead of the usual $61 I was charged $80. Really?! When I called to inquire about the amount the woman filling in at the location said my rate magically went up to $70 and I was also charged a late fee! I was actually charged a late fee for their mistake! Unbelievable! And I NEVER received a notice informing me my rate was increasing. I have been a customer for years! Always paid, always on time! Ridiculous!

This CubeSmart Self Storage, " I called it my home" Is so clean and peacefully, that when I go there I wish I don't have to go! I can Relax for that moment is like go to visit my Lovely 86 Years old mother. All I care is Respect, Caring and Attention and that is exactly what I received. I'm very happy with service and the storage unit. Mary and Brewny have been extremely helpful and are always very polite and knowledgeable. This is my first experience with storage units and thus far has been very positive.

This place is wonderful, I've never used storage until now and I can tell you this place has such great customer service and promotions that I would recommend this place to anyone who has used or haven't. Thanks to the managers at this site for helping me feel comfortable they are so great!

the mgr named mary has been very nice ,very helpful, keeps the place clean .what a joy to deal with.whatever u pay a person with this good of service;its not enough.service at most places is down but not there with mary at the helm.thanks a lot

Went into Storage Pro's today to look at a small storage unit. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that I was ready to sign the deal until we opened the door to our potential storage unit and found a cock roach. The woman showing us the unit then stomped on the roach and headed back inside to the main facility. I was appauled.

I moved out of my unit on the 2nd of the month of August. Yet they still kept all my money i had paid right on time for August. The fees are obsurd here also and it is very dirty inside the units. Also, everything smelled horrible!!!
