The guy who runs the front desk is a con and will try to charge you more then double of what the actual price is. He wanted 150 for a unit I go online and it's 79$. He didn't send me my contract through email then on move in day played games because he didn't give me the unit I asked for telling me oh yeah. A 10 x10 is 279 a month which is a lie it's under 150 on there qebsite

Elevator was down for 3 weeks due to an inspection issue at the franklin facility. Were told the elevator is considered a convenience and we would have to carry items to the 2nd floor. Only option was to get another unit in Milford for $ 219 per month for 3 months which we had to do because we were selling our house and had no choice. POOR

Good, clean, storage facility but prices went up ridiculously.just 3 yrs ago I rented it at 113.50 a mth. It is now 175.00 a mth for the same storage unit and there is no electricity or utilities. The increase makes no sense.the facility itself is good

Bad experience, the General Manager didn’t tell me truth about fee of cancellation. She did a extra charge after the unit didn’t fit my couch on the door, I didn’t even enter in my unit and I had to cancel my contract only 2 and half hours after open and she charge me for a administration fee, which I completely agreed but she also charge me for a insurance. (That she didn’t mention to me).

Inconvenient and fees! Can’t set up auto pay with checking account on App because they charge a convenience fee, can’t do a check by phone because they charge a convenience fee, upped my monthly rent after three months from Internet special no warning and when I tried to call three times to find out if this was going to be a regular increase I got no response. Milford office is never manned so it’s difficult to deal with management when there’s an issue do not recommend this location

My employer reserved a storage unit on Friday for me, as they are transferring me to an out of state office. Saturday I go to look at the unit and follow a customer into the who has a security code to the building. Instead of going through the front door I want to see if I can find something wrong here before I trust them with my personal belongings. In the hallway I come upon the Manager Joe assisting a deaf couple to make sure they that they unit they rented is the right one for them, while also assisting an existing renter who lost her partner that morning. Where does CubeSmart get their manager’s from diplomacy and empathy colleges?!?!?! I dare anyone of us to say they did not feel well taken care of. I notice that while he is talking exclusively to me that he is still using his sign language. I explain I am not deaf. He gently replies he knows that, but he doesn’t want his deaf customers to feel left out of the conversation that is going on right in front of them. Wow, how cool is that?!?! It is certainly appropriate! Better yet he explained that his Covid mask was in his hand so that the deaf couple could also lip read him, and said he would not feel offended if anyone stood six feet away from him. This guy is balancing the needs of three conversations at once, and explaining he is working alone today, but that he does not want me or anyone else to feel ignored. The empathy he showed the mourner, sensitivity and integrity he showed the deaf couple, and the customer service he provided me stood out to me as outstanding. There’s no way I will not be renting from CubeSmart. In these conversations I learned that Joe was managing another CubeSmart down the street plus one in Milford, Massachusetts providing him with a wide inventory of storage units that he could discuss with us in case I wanted to store a car with CubeSmart. Wait this guy is working all alone, no one else is at these other facilities or this one and he’s not flustered by all these customers at once?!?!? I don’t know what the next level up is from store manager but clearly Joe is already doing that job with great aplomb, poise, and warmth. Either this guy was trained by the very best or needs to be training CubesSmart employees. I know what is wrong in this world. There simply are not enough Joe’s. Thank you CubeSmart. Thank you Joe.

Kept raising prices on storage unit. The units themselves are fine, though tons of spiders and dust - if you want a clean one you have to do it yourself and hope nests don't come back. They do have nice flatbeds to use to tote stuff around easier.

Pro's: - The storage unit was secure. - No contract, cancel anytime. Con's: - Access to storage unit is not 24 hour. It should be, since you need a personal code to enter & exit the facility. - Storage unit cost is insanely expensive! Especially given that the facility is not 24 hour access. 10' x 30', over $500/month! - Tight driving through the facility with a large truck. - Lots of uneven roadway (driving up and down hills). Shop around for more cost effective & 24 hour access units before signing here. Visit places too so you know the layout of the facility.

Long term business customer for 3 years, paid on time with no problems. (We utilized the 5x10x8 space for overflow business furniture). Fees raised drastically in last 6-12 months ($50/mon increase) so spoke to manager to negotiate a more reasonable price and they were unwilling to entertain this. She was fine with losing us to a competitor. Poor business practice!!

CubeSmart Milford is where you need to rent a unit. The facility is immaculately clean and very secure. I've had no problems with my unit in just over 6 months of renting. The staff, especially Paula, are very kind and helpful. You are getting more than your moneys worth renting here!

I have had a supposed climate controlled unit since 2013 and I have to have 3-5 damp rid bags in it on a monthly basis. The items in my unit have mold on them and I have found the damp rid bags frozen in the winter time. The office staff is always out of the office when ever you try to call them. The prices go up without any notifications. I am looking for another location this is ridiculous.

I was helped by Christina when renting a Penske truck via cubesmart and my experience could not be better! She was lovely and extremely helpful. Called to get a price quote, and they required a bunch of information like name, phone number, and email; which is disgusting. You know how much your units are priced, don't even front. You're fronting CubeSmart. After I got the quote, they put a unit on hold just in case (of course, because they have all your contact information now!) and at the very, very end of the call right before hanging up, told me the manager would be calling me also. Not cool. Manager called almost every day to get me to move into a unit I only wanted to check the price on. Attempts to call and cancel left me on a lengthy hold with customer service reps who never answered and I eventually gave up. If you have overtly aggressive sales practices that badger people you get two stars. (Two stars because I'm sure the storage units are physically fine. Otherwise, would not rent.)

I had a great experience when I rented a Penske truck from here. The man who assisted me, John Tehran, was incredibly helpful in getting my rental all set up. He was very friendly, helped me through all the steps, and made the paperwork process really simple. As for the truck itself, it was nice and clean and well maintained, both in the cabin and the trailer. When I returned the truck, I forgot to pick up my deposit but John called me and told me. He kept ny deposit safe for me to when I picked it up. John was very honest and did a great job; he deserves a promotion!!

Downsizing from a house to an apartment is probably pretty common. But it was anything but common for us as we had just gone through a long process of selling our home. So when we were ready to store our overflow, we were ready to do our due diligence in comparing storage companies in the area. But after visiting your Milford MA location first, we didn't see a need to visit any other businesses. The Genl Mgr Jarrod answered all of our questions and concerns in a professional yet friendly, efficient and helpful way that made us feel satisfied and relieved that we had made a good decision. Jarrod has always been available to help us during and after our move in. And so renting another smaller unit was a no brainer for us. Thanks Jarrod, we'll definitely refer friends to you.

FROM THE DAY I WALKED IN TO RENT......JARED DID MORE THAN WOW ME!!! Going through a divorce, trying to unload nearly 5000sq. ft of stuff, Just my daughter and me.....and then there was Jared..... Jared made things so very simple, so very easy. He searched high and low to get me a storage space. I had no idea as to the size I needed...oh no...Then I needed a second storage space and Jared made that happen...RIGHT AWAY... MY spaces were clean, he helped me with locks, paper work was quick and easy...And then...when I was too busy to remember to pay my bill, Jared would call to remind me, so I didn't get a late fee. Yes..I am pleased..He is excellent manager....Cube smart needs to recognize this outstanding employee as he was always looking out for me and my possessions... Thank you Jared....
