Sick of argumentative people! I pay monthly for my unit and you threaten to call the police on me because I entered the wrong door? Maybe LOCK the door! Or get a different job if you can’t deal with working with the public! The girl at the front desk was incredibly rude and on a power trip! Makes me want to take my belongings and money elsewhere!

Jodie made me feel very comfortable about renting a space. He showed me around and he left it totally up to me when I wanted to start the lease and when I needed to come in to sign. The building and the area I leased are very clean. Getting in and out, including the use of the elevator and the hand truck, has been a peace of cake. Highly recommended!

I had my unit for honestly too long, the yearly price increases were always a shock, and became too much. The building was always very clean and there were plenty carts to help move your things in and out. The staff is great and always helpful.

Completely agree with the issues brought up in Frank Palladino’s review. I too have been a customer of CubeSmart for eight years now. When I first signed up, the staff really were friendly, and everything was clean and m organized. After reading his review, I’m assuming that my spike in price was also due to the huge reduction in staff hours. I never see the same people when I go on site and my visit a few days ago was not great. There’s barely ever anyone in the office, the door is always locked and they’re always either away or at lunch. This is a large inconvenience because it forces guests to go online and pay and also have to pay the fee which is you know another three dollars in addition to the monthly price. I’ve been there eight years and as a long-term customer, you would think that something like this would offer promos, or some thing, but nope they just continue to spike my bill $30-$50 each time. Some advice from someone who works for a business, you should probably look into some thing like that for long term customers because if this continues odds are probably going to lose a lot of guess, especially if they start reading these reviews. It also doesn’t help when you ask the staff a question and they give you attitude or a blank answer; a.k.a. the answer I received was well. You can downsize your unit if you want to pay less. There’s a reason I haven’t downsize my unit, and I don’t appreciate someone telling me that I would’ve done so if I could have. I also feel a storage payment should not excel to a car payment because I’ve been there in years. When I started my bill was $80 a month roughly and now it’s $220 a month. It’s ridiculous! Legitimately, hoping I can find a new place so I can take my stuff out of this facility. Otherwise, if I don’t find a new place, I will definitely be looking for a new facility that’s at least $100 less than what I’m paying. Ooh and I have had several issues with the facility in my eight years, issues on there part. Two-three times I’ve received calls about potential water damage to my unit because of their pipes or hvac. No deductions or anything besides a” can you check it out & let us know, thanks!”

Update: The bathrooms have been refinished. Soap dispenser is always full, they've added a blow dryer for hand drying just in case the towels run out. It has been kept clean since I've noticed the renovations. Looks great! Nice facility, climate controlled, restrooms could use more attention. Trash bins are always full, soap dispenser is always empty and there's very rarely any hand drying towels. Otherwise, a great local storage facility.

Rates are decent. Units are clean. There is a bathroom on the main level. But know 2 things. 1) don’t expect assistance after initial payment. Sign says they close at 6pm but mid-afternoon, you won’t any staff there. I waited around for almost 1-hr for someone to assist me, the office was still dark when I left as it was the hour prior. 2) all storage units are not well lit. You only have the lighting from the hallway. There aren’t lights above any of the units at all. Bring a battery powered campfire light.

When I joined, the staff were friendly and the place was clean and well organized. Two months ago there was a surprise price hike of 50%. Now, I know the business model, so that alone wasn't enough to turn me off. However that event seems to coincide with a huge reduction in staff hours. I guess they laid off the friendly staff I mentioned before, because I have never seen anyone in the office every time I've gone there over the last two months and it has been multiple times at different times of day. So much so that Ive had to pay my bill online for the last 2 months which involves a large convenience fee I've learned. Fee aside it felt good knowing someone was at the facility a portion of the time. Seems like they aren't any longer. (Update Edit on 4/16) The problem I mentioned, namely where there were consistently no staff there while visiting the site, has been resolved after a period where the situation persisted of around 5-6 months. The new staff that are there are different now and are there often enough to be reasonably expected. I am improving my review score from 2 stars to 4 stars in light of this fact since this resolves my main issue. I liked the old staff. The new staff are fine. I haven't had time to get to know them as well but have no problems or issues with them.

They raise prices like every few months they cut looks and charge crazy fees if a few days late also extremely rude not to mention what happened while my mom in icu coma and my sis got murdered qnd left behind 3 kids I contact owner like asked waiting for reply the owner fixed partially price one one unit for few months now the bill went up to 449 month when was 259 on begining glad this how they treat long term customers who elderly disabled been in ICU coma had to learn to walk and talk again and dealt with there daughter murdered and house fire I would really appreciate another response by owner and fix this issue and the other two units recently got rid of worst storage place my rent went from like 180 to now 450 and 20 fee to pay it smh thru automated

Reserved on line, received an email confirmation, and then the local manager told me she couldn't find my reservation so I had to start all over. She then took all my info again, but told me I now had to buy a lock, which I didn't need, since I didn't book/move in online. I went back to do it all again online and the prices had gone up by this time -- and the system made me buy a lock I didn't need even though the manager said it was not necessary if I reserve on line. Overall a rather negative experience. But I needed the space for one month and had little practical choice. I would find a different solution next time though.

Only use this place if uou need short-term storage. Rest assured that they WILL jack up the prices. I had a 5x10 unit that every year they'd jack up the prices by $10 - $16. At one point the rate was as high as $141. Then they advertised the same unit for $44. When I asked for that price they refused. So I cancelled and opened a new account at the new rate. But they wouldn't let me keep everything where it was. The manager made me move everything to a new unit. Then after a couple months the price went up to $49. I finally jumped ship altogether and went with another company. Expensive lesson learned.

I went down there today to rent a unit. This WOULD have been the third time renting at this location. The second since Cube Smart took it over. The person working the office had zero personality and zero customer service skills. The question was simple. What do you have for availability? I’m met with what size are you looking for? What are you storing? How much are you storing? Maybe if the “professional” told me what was available, I, the person paying the rent could make that determination. I guess sitting down looking at the computer was more important.

Don't listen to the sales rep. They lied to my face. You have to purchase a lock when you reserve online. Rep said I can get that refunded if I show I am bringing my own lock. Best place to store anything! I was stressed about having to place my personal belongings in a storage unit. Wendy the manger was very nice from the minute I met her. She was very assuring that my personal items will be safe and protected. I had to store my stuff from August to almost October and getting it out was a breeze (kind of) lol. I went to recover my things and I met a man named Luis. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I told him I would be in and out the next couple days with help and he more than made that stressful day much easier for me. I was babysitting 3 kids.. YES 3 while moving so that alone was a mission!! He was polite and very helpful. I would recommend anyone who needs storage to talk to Luis. He will take care of you and whatever you may need to store. Hope my review may help anyone looking to store things in a rush! Well recommend! Professional and CLEAN FACILITY! 5 STARS from me!

I was pushing a cart of items to my storage space when a metal item fell off and onto my shin. I went to the office to ask for ice as my shin bone had swollen into quite a goose egg. I had a storage unit in the past at a DIFFERENT storage company and my things had gotten ruined.so I was pretty apprehensive about having another bad experience but to my surprise CubeSmart/Wendy put my mind at ease.Wendy assisted with opening my account for the rental.She was very personable attentive to my concerns and made sure all my questions were answered.CubeSmart is very clean well lit indoor facility that felt very secure.Also they have a cart to load belongings onto(which most other places DO NOT offer) Great access hours as well as friendly helpful staff.Ash helped close my account out.She made it very easy and the whole process took about 10 minutes.Great staff and great service.Nice environment to trust to leave personal items/valuables.i would definitely store with CubeSmart again.Highly recommended.

My wife and myself went into this location today and were blown away by the customer service Loretta provided. She went into full detail about all the stipulations and payments etc. She toured the facility with us and made us confident that our belongings are in good hands. The facility itself was very clean. When my wife inquired by phone earlier in the day to make a reservation for a unit she was called back by Loretta to confirm the reservation and answer any questions. So far so good.

After making a late payment the first month because of a wrong address, all payments were timely. Ran into issues of overpaying and management was upset. Trying to correct the overpayments, my underpayments of 2 to 4 dollars were penalized and mgmt wanted to charge a late fee. The monthly payments have risen significantly and my last notice came on a small notecard and not via email. I am glad I noticed it. This past month I was late by total error. When I talked to the manager, Wendy, who had been very nice in the past, she stated that I needed to write a separate check for the late fee. I asked if I could include it in my increased monthly charge all in one check and send it for the due date. She said yes but did not make it clear that the next month charge had to be sent immediately because they would not cash the current check without receiving the late fee as well. Therefore, I was waiting to send both fees together and since they did not get sent immediately, I was hit with another late fee even though my payment was not sure for another 14 days. The company is not customer friendly and their convoluted rules and conversations confuse customers and they are making lots of money with unwarranted late fees. They have lost a good customer who will be moving out ASAP. I will never use the company again. If anyone I know is looking for a storage company, I will steer them away from Cubesmart. There is nothing smart about storing your items with this company.

This is a wonderful storage facility. The office staff is so helpful and keeps the entire facility clean and well managed. Loretta and Wendy went out of their way to make sure my bill was accurate and paid on time since it was a holiday weekend! They are always friendly and available to help. The unit is well maintained, well lit, there is always a cart to move items and plenty of room to move in and out of elevators from the car. I couldn't be more satisfied. I jut upgraded to a larger unit and Wendy was extremely helpful going through my options and finding the exactly right space I needed. She is very thorough and patient and knows the details of each transaction. She made the transfer easy. This facility has been very well maintained and I love the ability to access the unit even when the office is closed.

To say I'm an experienced mover is an understatement, I've been part of the military in one way or another my entire life. With that being said, moving is never easy and you're usually stressed out. Awesome customer service, I was blown away by the level of service I received here. Just showing up for the second time, two days after getting my unit, I was greeted by the manager and another employee, by my name. Couldn't believe they remembered that, with all the people they deal with on a daily basis. Facilities are well maintained and super clean, as are the restrooms. Props on super clean restrooms with fully stocked paper towels ( a must have after a sweaty day of moving). I will forever have to equate any storage facility I ever visit or use to CubeSmart of Tewkesbury. ?? ???? Bravo!

Always rented a unit for our son's possessions after each year of college and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this year I was a little late getting my reservation in and was unable to obtain a unit in the Tewksbury facility. To my great satisfaction "Wendy", the manager at Tewksbury, took it upon herself to call the next closest facility in Salem, New Hampshire, where she and "Nicole", (the manager at the Salem site), set up the entire reservation for me within 15 minutes! I had an email confirmation as well as phone contact by both managers and all my concerns were quickly and promptly taken care of. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! It was really a pleasure working with both of them. Highly recommend for your storage needs.

Let's talk for a moment about customer service. I went in yesterday with my boyfriend, who is already a customer at CubeSmart in Tewksbury. We realized, his unit just was not big enough to store both of our stuff. So we went into the office and spoke to a woman named Floy. She was professional, understanding, efficient and very helpful. She gave us all kinds of options, from upgrading my boyfriends unit to opening another. She managed to juggle helping us, and another customer who came in at the same time, all on her own, without missing a beat, and without leaving us feeling abandoned. She was friendly, fast, but not in a rush us out kind of way. She asked questions, but not to pry, just to make sure she understood our needs. The facility was clean, Floy was organized. She took what was a stressful situation and turned it into a great experience. THANK YOU CUBE SMART for saving us from having to pick and choose which of our memories we would keep, and which we would have to get rid of. THANK YOU FLOY, for providing the absolute best customer experience either of us has experienced in a long time.

Well I think I am just about done with cubesmart at tewksbury, everything was peachy for a few days the 2 friendly girls and the polite gentleman were there when I went in to my unit, but today I parked as usual and the "general manager wendy" as the screaming maniac who came running at me proclaimed herself to be screaming at me that I couldn't park where i had parked. I maybe wrong in my assumptions that customers pay their wages but was most unimpressed at this demonstration of customer service from a supposed leader of people. Being in the customer service field myself and being a paying customer I think I will vote with my wallet and seek the other environment controlled storage company in tewksbury. Cubesmart you may wish to get ahold of your management style and rethink the approach to your customer handling techniques.

Would give zero stars for the negative I had and 5 for before. Read on I was in utter shock. Polar opposite experiences happened to my husband and myself here at the Tewksbury Cube-Smart . I went with my husband there and we ended up pulling up into the loading zone to unload for our unit. NEGATIVE PART:- As we were about to unload; the most rude, loud, officious, abnoxious, negative dwarf of a woman begins shouting at him. A CUSTOMER!! I was in serious shock that this venomous little woman would dare to be yelling at him, her customer, and about to tell this woman where to stick her storage units and go elsewhere. That we couldn't park in the loading zone! I maybe wrong but I thought a loading zone was for, loading and unloading. I assumed she was some new member of staff who was yet to learn about how to treat a customer, it turns out she was not new at all My husband informs me that it is the same rude woman that was shouting at him and our friend another day, when they were there to store his items. and that he had been informed at high decibels by her that " I am Wendy I am the General Manager here!" Needless to say neither my husband or myself are happy and seriously thinking of taking our business elsewhere. POSITIVE:- The only saving grace being the others there that do know customer needs and how to treat a customer. The ladies I was dealing with floy?? and loretta, the day before had reminded me with their interactions that it wasnt the store but the individual. I sincerely hope that neither my husband nor I have to deal with this cretinous rude Wendy woman again who has no iota of how to treat a customer, or we shall be elsewhere with our storage unit needs as I am sure will our friends who use this facility and had warned us but were unsure of a name for the lackluster assistant who actually seems to be a manager. I have never been treated that badly, anywhere.

I was sceptical as the storage place is hidden from the main road, but was pleasantly surprised upon arriving to find they even opened the door when I approached. This was a great start to what turned out to be a very welcome white-glove style customer service experience and most unexpected. Rates seemed very agreeable a little more than some but for the style of personal service they seem to offer, well worth my business. I only came to price out options for storing items while I have a garage built, but think I may have to share this little gem of a place with friends and family. Bad decision to have a couple of extra ground level storage spaces, and not having loading area. Good for the 2-3 people who have the easy access spaces, bad for hundreds who have to park/stop a few hundred feet away. Very clean. Manager is friendly. Not happy about the "mandatory" insurance that is not mentioned online nor in the quoted cost. Let us sign a waiver refusing coverage and accepting any damages that may occur. Also monthly cost is only good for 6 months then the rate increases. Come on!

Walked in not even 5 minutes after having made a reservation online, Dee Dee was there she was super helpful, very informative and had a great sense of humor she showed me my unit got paperwork done I was in and out of there in no time, place was spotless inside and out!!!

Started about a month ago as a last minute decision for storage. Using the main 800# and explained what I needed for storage was very helpful and knowledgeable of the size I would need. However, upon arrival disappointed that it was not the size I needed. At Cubesmart, personnel staff was very helpful in obtaining the proper size storage unit. Although a cost increase I signed with Cubesmart. I would recommend visiting the site to visualize the size you would need for your storage. I highly recommend this place as a storage facility...Thank you Cubesmart!

I been with Cubesmart for all of 6 months and have not been disappointed with Cubesmart employees. When I enter if they spot me they'll wave. There is one person that stands out from the rest and she has personally help me with questions I may have. also she told me she had to fill in for two employees who were transferred. Dee Dee Sciarappa is a wonderful manager and I would like to acknowledge her for giving it her all in time of need.

My family and I went in to look at the storage unit that we reserved yesterday. When we arrived we were greeted with a big smile and a happy energy that I personally have never come across at any other storage facility that I have gone to...and I have even worked at a few. I was impressed with the security of the facility from the cameras to watching Dee Dee check for every code in from clients. I was further impressed with the fact that everyone that I saw come into the facility stop in the office just to see Dee Dee, and she knew each one of them by name, and even took the time to know them and their family. I was honestly expecting an unhappy teenager, who really didn't want to be there, sitting behind the desk telling me to sign papers and hand me a piece of paper, and sent on my way. Dee Dee on the other took the time to hand my 4 year old daughter a small coloring book with crayons while I handled paperwork. Then she took my family and I up to the storage unit itself to show us the way personally, while explaining the policies of security, insurance, and safety all with the same jovial demeanor we were greeted with. On top of all of this while I dealt with the exceptionally poor customer service of geico to get proof that I had insurance to cover what I would be storing, she was patient, and trying to find any other way for me to complete the process. The only thing I would change about my experience had nothing at all to do with Dee Dee or this specific facility. It would have been a little easier if I could have just completed most of the check in process, and then fax in the proof of insurance. However it all has to be completed at once or not at all. This is an issue with the computer system set up rather than customer service. Overall this was a much better and easier experience than I thought it would be otherwise.

First of all the place is very very clean which did shock me a bit. I have never rented one of these before and had no idea what to expect. So that was an awesome surprise. Also the man Jose who I worked with was very nice and extremely helpful. I had lots of questions.

I have been a customer with CubeSmart for about 18 months. This facility is safe, secure, clean, and climate controlled. The GM there named DeeDee is the best!! She is always welcoming and accommodating. She recently made me aware of an excellent referral program that helped me save money on my own storage rental. I saved 75% off of my monthly rent!! I was happy to refer one of my clients here, and will do the same with friends and family. With an exceptional leader like Dee Dee there, I know they will be well taken care of. If you are looking for storage in the area definitely come by!

Very nice, clean, well lit facility. William was a great help when we were choosing the right size unit. Deedee was a great help during the move in day. The gate hours are until 10pm which is more convenient than other places we toured. Just the right place for our needs. Adding a note for 6/22/24: Many thanks to Joe for his help today with our switch to another size unit. We've been using this facility for 8 years and it's still just the right place for our needs.

We got a great deal and the regional manager and the store manager are great. They are very friendly and helpful. The building is clean and they have carts right at the door to help you transport your items through the building. I would highly recommend. William is fantastic.
