Please, if you value your belongings. Never use this cube smart on 23 mile in chesterfield, Michigan.. They have a rodent infestation. My wife's family lost. Most of my mother-in-law belongings.. she had gotten sick and was placed in a nursing home.. My wife and siblings put all of her belongings in storage at this facility.. paid the rent for over a year.. My mother-in-law. Sadly, never recovered. and my wife and siblings went to clear out the storage unit... this is when too their horror found out about the rodent infestation at this facility.. the insurance they sell... doesn't cover rodents... and even though they stated knowing that there's been a problem since the construction started over a year ago.. have never even as I write this have not and will not contact any of their renters .. the loss that they have entered. Is horrific.. family heirlooms from over two generations pictures of their families and children they have lost. Think of this if your parents' house caught fire and all was lost... cube smart will not take any responsibility for this... and stated they have no plans on doing anything about this and will not contact any of their renters to warn that this problem exists. Please, please, please tell anyone you may know that their property is at risk... AND PLEASE DON'T PLACE YOUR PRECIOUS THINGS HERE

Then enter Lora, the manager is also one of the nicest, friendly, efficient managers I've encountered in some time. She called the following day after my inquiry, just like I was told and then away we went with a tour and paper work. Painless! I retired as the Director of Patient Relations at the Detroit Medical Center. Customer service was my total emphasis for our patients and their families. Well I would have hired Lora in a minute if given that chance. She epitomizes what great customer service is suppose to be. Can you tell I love Lora? I do! I moved from Florida literally a week ago and this was the only storage place I found that was open on Sundays. Dan was extremely nice and helpful, shiwedme the units before purchase to make sure it was the right size for what I had. They greet you so warmly and welcoming in the building andon the phone. This place is 5 stars all the way! Clean and well lit, they have easy pay online and 24 hour access! Totally would recommend !!

This place is HORRIBLE! Do not store anything here. Not even a used Kleenex. My whole storage unit is RUINED. Everything is destroyed. Look at all the animal droppings and urine on all my belongings. I called a few units and told them exactly what I was using the storage unit for. They quoted a price and the first month was free, you are expected to buy their Insurance. When I tried to make a claim, my "problem " was NOT covered by their policy. So, as you can see NOTHING is covered. $10.00/ month is automatically added to your bill. When I did call for my claim (before I found out I was out of luck) the claims adjuster gave me her number but forgot to be me she will be unavailable for 13 days. I have no way of getting a hold of her and I must respond within 14 days. This place should be avoided at all costs. Do not go here, drive by as FAST and as far as you can.

This was an experience beyond words. We had to move out quickly as our home sold way faster then expected just after Christmas. I called not having used storage before and needed our entire home stored and stored safely and kept clean. The customer service through this facility was what made me initially choose this one. I got two units and was stored for what ended up being eight months. Almost every season my entire home went through storage and was not able to check on things during this time as was in another state. The storage just came to an end and am so pleased to say everything was in perfect condition. There was not one indication any of the items were stored for that long. All staff is able to help answer any question anytime and all my messages were returned so quick and in full detail. A very wonderful experience from start to finish.

Instead of righting their mistake and moving the new customer out of our prime spot, our camper is now in the back corner of the facility. So they’re taking a long time customer and sticking them in the back of the facility as to satisfy and sustain the new customer with OUR prime spot instead of owning up to their mistake .

Lora is very nice and professional! She helped me choose the best option for my space and budget. They offer online bill pay and auto pay which is also a huge plus. Lot is clean, upkept and secure. Definitely recommend for location and customer service.

The blonde girl working at the front desk is very rude, I was standing there for 5 minutes & had to say something for her to even notice me. She had a snotting attitude but it's ok because she lost money because I'm going down the street & their also $10 cheaper!

After making a reservation for a large unit, but still undecided if I needed it or not, Lora called me twice a week to check in and see what my status was. It was very nice that she called with friendly reminders about their deals and packages they had going on. I finally bought a unit and know that my stuff is in good hands. Lora has a great customer service personality and I really appreciate her patience and understanding with my tedious situation!

Well, I came in and I let her take the other man first. Well he turn out to me a very anger person . Stefanie remain very polite,he keep on being a jerk to her. She came back to help me and did a great job. It's just too bad there are real jerk in the world. Ps I noticed he has a wedding ring and really feel sorry for his wife. new owners are greedy have massively jacked up prices. added extra fees. They are most expensive place around now for storage. no security and lined access times as well
