It was super easy to book my storage unit and when I needed to keep pushing the date back the customer service team there at the location was super helpful and very nice! The facility seems very well guarded as far as entry in and out. I have a 5 ft x 8 ft interior unit and walking into it seemed a little janky and not the most protected like the heavy steel doors you see on the outside. Makes me a tad nervous which is why I gave it four stars and not five stars. Guess we will find out! So far it's been easy breezy going in and out to move things in and I love the app. Overall very pleased and time will tell how the stability of the unit and security of the entire facility pulled out.

Six other storage units was broken into. Somehow someone got a 70 inch tv, big huge heavy boxes of catering equipment, two heavy couches out of the storage, they somehow took it over the fence even though there is no traces of it. The storage is not open 24/7 so I’m not for sure what happen but the employees won’t show the footage. What are they hiding? Detective will be contacting me soon because they took too much out of the storage. Cube smart don’t let people who is on drugs work at your buildings they do dumb stuff like this!

If I could give one star I would. We have $20,000 worth of stuff. (Not even lying!) refrigerator, couches, dressers, and a whole bunch of silver chaffers. First when we was called the employees were acting all nonchalant. Once the police got there, they investigated and saw no trace of someone taking large heavy items over the fence. When the police ask to see video footage they decided to not show it and stated that they don’t have to without a warrant! (Wierd right wouldn’t you want to help your customers). Little do they know we are not some dumb people who don’t know the law. So they will be hearing from our lawyer. If I was the employee I would definitely put back my stuff. Because even the police stated that the stuff I still in the storage somewhere. Even when the police was there employees were getting nervous.

We had moved into our unit 4 months ago. Our unit was broken into. Half of our stuff was taken but there was no evident of our stuff being taken over the gate. We had a refrigerator, two couches, dressers, two tvs, and all our catering equipment stolen. At least $20,000 worth. The police could not get footage because the workers disagree to show it without a warrant. (That’s wierd right) the police stated that we should get a detective to come out and see what’s really going on. In other words beware the employees are in on stealing property out of the storage units.

Average storage unit. There seems to be a lot of spiders but I didn't see evidence of rodents. The manager is nice, a bit too chatty to listen fully but he's nice and seems to know what he's doing as far as rentals go.

Nothing fancy but did the job for storing son's college furniture and other items over the summer. More reasonable cost wise than other storage facilities we found in Kzoo. Not super convenient to campus but everything is only 15 minutes away.

Fairly clean, Units are relatively tidy. Unfortunately significantly lacking in Security overall. Hole cut and peeled through the Fence at the rear by my particular Building. Renter a few Units away from mine recently had someone living in there Unit, a number of there things ruined by Human Waste or stolen. Affordable ?????

I've had an indoor unit for 2 years and haven't had issues with security. However, the cleanliness is not great, and I always have a lot of spiders in my unit. My biggest issue is the constant increasing of my monthly rate. Will be leaving and looking at competitors.

The sign up process was easy. Some confusion over the start date but we got that resolved. Then the manager canceled my reservation for some reason. Called the location and got it resolved with the training manager who helped me originally. Got moved in yesterday and was an easy process. Not the best area and there was trash left behind by other tenants. The staff has been great and the space fits our short term needs perfectly.

-5??rating. I wouldn't even recommend this business to my most hated enemies. What's the point of having office hours in your window? But no one to work on the property. ??. I thought that having a gate code for entering and exiting added safety. I was wrong. The gate is always broken and left wide open for weeks. I walked in on Homeless people living in the indoor units. Empty beer cans and trash everywhere. Overpriced, bad customer service and your belongings aren't safe.

We got locked in yesterday. No manager on site. Called 1800 number no one could reach the site manager or district manager. Gate code wouldn't work. I was on hold forever. Then i was hung up on and no one ever called me back. My daughter had to hop a very tall fence and injured her ankle so we could escape. We were starving after moving furniture all day and needed to leave so we can return a uhaul truck in time . Im beyond disgusted with the lack of customer service.

Just signed up . One thing so far was I thought I booked my cube for feb3 and paid 190.00 for 4 months I believe with the special . Well it started from the day I paid it about a week ago . Thought I was getting ahead on it and no I lose 10 days . The lady that called I told her what happened and all she said was oh thats ok . ??? And then I get a bill for 140 today in a email . Now i have no idea why when i paid it activated it rt then when i was booked for the 3rd. And now its acting like i didn't pay???

I had rented another unit at Storage Rentals of America and when I arrived I could not get in gate, I called their number and could not get in touch with ANY customer service agent. My Uhaul was due back in 2 hours, SO I logged onto CubeSmart website, got a unit immediately, signed all my paperwork, received my gate code, everything was done in 10 minutes!!! Got my Uhaul unloaded and returned on time so I didn't have to pay for another day. THANK YOU CUBESMART for making the process SO EASY!!!

I rented a unit for two and a half years and during that time i had to throw away numerous pieces of clothing due to mice peeing on them and staining them. Mouse feces all over my stuff including inside shoes where they were living. Also had a massive stink bug infestation. They were inside everything. Unfortunately after more than two years paying to keep my stuff in this bug and mouse infested place, my unit was sold at auction. Upon reading the terms for buyers buying the units, its states clearly that family photos, cremated remains and documents such as court paperwork or birth and death certificates are to be turned in to management so they can be returned to the owner. That never happened. All my family photos, baby books, very important court paperwork, family birth and death certificates, social security cards and the ashes of my still born baby were inside that unit and they were never returned. Upset? Definitely but heartbroken more than anything. My deceased grandmothers 100 year old baby book was included and the last few pics remaining of my deceased father and to keep human ashes is wrong in so many ways its sad. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

They weren't able to close on what they promised me (half off first month) that day b/c the system cockblocked the deal. They were supposed to call me the next day but didn't. I never did hear back from them and in that time went with another company (Cross Creek Storage in Portage) with a cheaper monthly rate and indoor units which are *actually* climate controlled. NONE of the units at this CubeSmart location are.

Staff was always helpful, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Rates are on par with others. Storage unit was clean, and I encountered no problems with the unit or on premises. My items left the unit in the same condition as they entered.

I would give this place a big fat ZERO if able to. We have rented here for 5+ years and more recently our unit has been broken into 3 times this year. Things missing or broken and no one seems to care. Make a police report only to find out the security system doesn't work and our inside unit doesn't have cameras available for access. We as paying customers can't get in after 10pm but the exterior doors of the inside units aren't locked?!?! Left wide open for the world to enter. Something seriously needs to be done about this place. It's falling apart and units are constantly getting broken into. Place needs to be shut down.

If I could give it Zero stars I would. I only had my unit for 6 days and the lock was broken off and my stuff was stolen out of the unit. I do not recommend getting any storage units in the inside areas, as it is too easy for people to break into them. The police even told me that the Cube Smart that I rented from on Sprinkle Road in Kalamazoo gets broken into quiet a bit. If that is the case, why doesn't CubeSmart do anything to change that. Its because they don't care about the people who rent from them. They get there money and that is all they care about. Sorry, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

My unit was broken into and the company did nothing to support me. I learned that my break in was the third in a recent time period and the company didn’t notify any customers of the security concerns. Additionally, the security system wasn’t working and the company decided not to fix the problem. Security issues had been ongoing since at least February, the company was aware of them, and they chose not to address them. I was lied to by the district manager who said that all security features on the property were working, only to have the police officer in charge of my case confirm that the company wasn’t able to provide security footage of the break in because no security cameras were working. The site manager was belligerent, raised his voice at me, and said I was “asinine” for expecting that security features that I pay for and are advertised on their website should be maintained and operational at all times. Furthermore, he refused to take responsibility for his property’s lack of security and didn’t apologize for his demeaning actions towards me. On top of everything else, when I moved out of my unit, I found out that it was infested with mice. When I informed the site manager of the situation, he said that there had been several previous complaints from other renters but that nothing could be done. If I could give a negative star review, I would.
