This process was made super easy using the online reservation process followed up by Ken helping us at the location itself. Ken took the time to show us the unit, walk us through all the rules and regulations, and answered all of our questions before we signed paperwork. It’s quite a reasonable price for what we’re getting and the location is very convenient.

It was very easy to reserve a space. The CubeSmart app works really well. Unfortunately, the outdoor space I rented was not maintained. There were no lines. Nearby trailers were parked too close and in weird angles. I had to cancel.

The facility and employees are 5 stars fantastic and I really enjoyed this location! However, the price increase of about $30 approximately every 6 months was a bit ridiculous and became way to expensive.

I went in today to rent a unit. The girl behind the desk could not have been more displeased to see me. She was on her lunch break, but she wasn’t eating, she was crafting ‘fiesta bags’. That’s what she called them as I observed her empty lunch containers and tissue paper and gift bags... I explained how I’d previously made an online reservation, had a lengthy discussion with a male a few weeks previously, and now arrived at the point in time I need storage. I was in the process of moving. The girl, kept telling me she was on her lunch break and super busy. She didn’t acknowledge one thing I said. She said she should have locked the door. I remained patient. Moving is stressful and I needed to get this done. I began my online reservation, thinking that should take up some time and make my registration process easier....giver her the rest of her lunch break. Then she asked if I could wait the 15 minutes in my car. She then told me I could leave and come back. I told her I would not be leaving and returning, that’s utterly ridiculous. At this point, I could not believe I was essentially being refused service. She began questioning the lunch breaks in my life....and I left. I am in the process of now securing a different storage room at a facility that is far more customer service friendly. You have and will continue to lose business as long as that woman and her crafting take priority over a very patient and respectful prospective customer. Very very disappointed, night and day from the man I spoke to.

I've been renting here for few years on and off. Prices are competitive and it's kept clean. It's also kind of nice to see the same face and smile when I stop by. Jenn is a sweetheart! The biggest negative is when they decide to charge more money per month AFTER you've been there for a couple months. But if your a new customer you get a cheaper price?!?!?

These guys are amazing! I manage a small business out of a storage unit. My employees and I are in and out constantly and occasionally the storage door might get left open. The staff here have been so helpful. They've closed up after a technician and placed their own lock on it until we returned. They are away very polite and courteous. I made a rookie mistake and shared my unit, things went south and my unit was half emptied and left without a lock (no fault of Joe's or the facility's) and Joe seen it had no lock before I even knew and locked it back up for me! For the two years I had my things in storage this was a awesome facility and I had a great experience with them. They were there for me when I needed them. Even when they were closed the manager Mr Joel still made time to help me. I recommend this place to my friends and family. I appreciate how they maintain the yard and made my items feel more safe. I also had a vehicle in their yard. One day I went to visit and forgot to roll my window up. The manager Joel told me during his daily walk around the facility, he had noticed my window down and without even asking me put plastic and tape over my window, so the rain that came that night did not affect the inside of my vehicle. Joe, the manager had my space cleaned and ready and made the move-in process easy to complete as time was of the essence. The place has always been clean and well kept up, and I will definitely return when I need more storage. Joe always was very professional and I have told my friends where to go if they ever need storage.

I was shopping for a storage space and there were quite a few that had similar pricing and amenities. The reason I chose this facility was the manager Joe. He had all the information I needed to know about storing my belongings and he made me feel extremely comfortable and confident that his facility was the right choice. Joe (manager/owner) is easy going, and wonderful to work with. The facilities are secure (punch code gated entry). I am currently in a 10x10 climate controlled facility and the unit is clean and dry. I would recommend Simply Self Storage - Lansing to friends and family.

Spent close to 3 years at this location and I highly recommend this place to anyone. It was always clean and, more importantly, secure every time I went to use my space. We had a climate control unit and not once did we find it at a temperature we weren't satisfied with. The best part about this location however is the customer service. Simply top notch.

I have used this facility for my storage needs for it's ease of access and its wonderful staff. Well maintained grounds and units to accomodate everything you own. The Facility is always well maintained and the staff are so very helpful. Joe is awesome! The unit was immaculate when we moved our stuff into it. And I recently realized that there is lightning in some of the bigger units!! They open early and close late (10pm). I'd use this storage company again! I'm so glad I picked this one!
