I was ripped off for a few hundred bucks when the person who owns this business accused me of vandalism after I paid up front for a month. He literally called me up 24 hours I inspected the unit and accused me of 'messing with his gate' and then screamed at me until I asked for my money back, of which then he suddenly started screaming even louder. It's a very shabby building that's very small and only has doors that work with padlocks that are very, very easy to break into (as any reputable storage unit will tell you). If you want more reviews on the person who owns this place, check out anywhere for the Milan Self Storage which he also owns. He's well-known around Milan, Michigan, for being quite the unstable scam artist. I wasted $183 and far too many minutes dealing with this person. Don't waste your time and money and go outside of Milan if you want a secure and professional storage unit experience. Edit: more lies from his 'response.' My bank agrees with me that this has all the marks of a scam but recommends a lawsuit. The Attorney General has a department that helps with these disputes but gave up after dealing with him personally. Also, the Police Department has not heard about this 'vandalism' delusion he keeps going on about so this is obviously more lies so he can keep my money. And as it seems from a few other reviews, he's just dishonest with other people like he was with me over a matter of a few hundred bucks. His responses are the same thing you'll get if you even bother to do business with him, so save yourself the trouble. I wasted $183 and too much time. You can do better by going nearly anywhere else. Also as of 5/8/24, this business no longer exists. It now has a CubeSmart banner and hopefully new management.

The creepy looking guy goes inside of boxes in the units to do what he claims are “inspections”. I don’t think laundry needs an inspection. Otherwise the place is very clean.
