Mary and Tammy are amazing! They are so helpful and, when I was in a huge bind, they really came through for me. I was out of town when my belongings from a major flood in my home had to be moved to a storage unit the same day. I was able to get a storage unit, and have my stuff moved in and locked up when I couldn’t be there. They kept the key in a safe. Mary even took photos of my stuff. Absolutely rediculous to increase rent as much and as frequently! I understand even maybe 10% per year, but 25-30% every few months? Rediculous! Wish I could leave zero stars.

Cons: Infested, expensive, and excessive rent increases Pros: The on site employees As far as the storage goes, they raise there prices at least once a year, sometimes more often, and they raise it $20-$40 each time. My rent went up exponentially since I put my stuff in there in 2015. In 2015 I payed $80, it's now $166/month for a 5x10 unit. On top of it, the place is INFESTED WITH MICE AND OTHER CRITTERS. Most of what I stored ended up destroyed by the mice, and massive amounts of dirt that blew into the unit. Everything the mice could chew, they did. There must be a lot of them, from the looks of what they left behind. If you value your stuff, maybe look somewhere else, or make sure you seal everything in mouse proof containers (good luck). There's one good thing about this place, though, and it's the employees. Mary, the office manager is warm, kind, and a pleasure to interact with. There's also a relatively new guy whose name I can't remember (sorry!), that is also very kind, friendly and a pleasure to interact with as well.

Price started out at $135 a month and over a few years they increased it to $220 a month. During the winter they plowed the snow into the doors and the snow melted into ice which froze the doors shut. When I complained the person in the office handed me a wrecking bar and made me remove the ice myself. Not to mention over the years all my stuff was effected by rodents, dust, and spiders. I moved into a temperature and pest controlled storage facility, with a bigger unit for $124 a month. Don’t make the same mistake as me and do some shopping before you decide to move your stuff here. Not worth the value and the rent increases are offensive. This company has no pulse on the market and are ripping people off in my opinion.

The assistant there, Mary, was very kind and is the reason that I chose to rent space there. The facility itself is lacking. There are very few security cameras on site and the storage units themselves are not alarmed. I’m also concerned about leaks in the ceilings. Although I have most items in bins, I will not store fabric furniture there out of fear that it would be destroyed.

From the first phone call to shutting the door on my belongings I felt safe with Mary Wininger in charge. After speaking with Mary, I checked other places in Carson City and then chose Cubesmart. And I'm very happy I did. Mary lives on site. There is an electric gate. Plenty of room to drive my car right up to my unit. Sheetrocked interior and very dry. Mary mentioned that near the door some rain might leak in so I stored back a bit. Everything is clear and organized and the website is easy, too. When I emailed my renter's insurance it was taken care of immediately. Thank you!

I've been a renter for almost a decade and have been extremely happy with this storage. They have large units available and also covered parking for all types of vehicles. Access is very easy with a keypad code for entry and exit. Shane and Mary run the location and are absolutely fantastic individuals who give the extra effort to make sure you are well taken care of.

Ease of use. It was nearly midnight when I first moved into the unit. They had an electronic kiosk, like an ATM so I could sign the agreement and get the gate code. And I've had absolutely no problems over the last four years.

Reserved online and then went to office to complete the process. Very easy, very pleasnt, great experience. Convenient location for us.
