Very disappointed in this place (and have had otherwise fine storage unit experiences) THEY DONT LOCK THE DOORS OF THE FACILITY IN THE BACK They just lock the gate for cars which any thief can get around. They had incidences of stuff getting stolen (ask HPD or them) which included my dad’s unit, but they never offered any resolution to what happened to us. Not even a consistently friendly staff.

If you are only going to use the storage for a short period of time and you catch them when they are offering a discount then its a good idea. If you need long term storage then I do not recommend. After the promotion is over you will get an increase and then another increase probably about 6 months after that. There is no way of knowing how much the increase will be so if you are on a budget I recommend going to a place where you know exactly what you will be paying and for how long.

My experience at cubesmart was very good. I felt comfortable not rushed, being that I went in towards closing time. The place is very clean and air conditioned!! I rented a unit and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I recommend checking out cubesmart on Horizon Ridge in Henderson if you need to rent a storage unit.

I had a reservation with the Henderson NV store. Enroute to the facility we were trapped in the traffic of a major accident on the fwy. We were stuck in traffic for 6 hours. Jim at the store was willing to stay late to complete our reservation. Unfortunately we did not arrive until after 11pm. But it doesn’t end there, Jim was willing to meet us on Easter Sunday to complete our lease. Fortunately we were able to park the RV at our residence and we completed the lease on 4/1. Jim went far beyond our expectations and was literally willing to do whatever it took to meet our needs. Yesterday I met Jim and thanked him for his exceptional service and also met Shelly. Shelly completed our contract and we left as very satisfied customers. Thank you Jim and Shelly, Henderson CubeSmart.

Crooks. Awful company. They keep raising my rent each year, but if I was to walk in today to rent the same unit, I would pay $200 less. That’s how they reward loyalty and being a good customer….just raise rent. Not to mention the quality of the facility has been declining since CubeSmart took it over.

This place is a Scam. Within 6 months I got 3 different rates and after a year the rates go up by $40.00 or more. Not to mention you can't really ask any questions to get a better understanding because you these get a 1 word reply back. It's almost as if they want you to miss a payment so they can auction off the unit. Because of how much the rates change in such a short period of time.

Quick and easy. No contract. Good rates. Not happy with having to pay for insurance on my RV spot when I have insurance. They told me they could cancel it after the first month but got stuck paying for the first month insurance.

Rate increased by over $80 in three years. Two increases were without notice. The unit doesn’t even have a light. The climate control is a swamp cooler so the building is hot & humid. David the employee tried to justify the increase by saying how the units are in big demand, I found multiple units less then a mile away for 70 to 80 dollars per month less. Don’t take my word, look up CubeSmart on the BBB. The best review is 2 stars. This is a nation wide bad company.

Just closed my account after renting a unit for over 5 years, switched units probably 3-4 times due to needing different sizes, never once did I have a problem. The manager down there is an awesome dude and took great care of us. Whatever we needed he was there. Thank you so much for the service down there! Would recommend 10/10.

We chose CubeSmart for the climate controlled units which worked fine. The issue with the Horizon Ridge location is that the gates are almost always broken. Also, the office hours are very short, and if you call for assistance there is no phone option to get help for entry. Also, there is no provision to pull through the back of the facility even though there are gates on either end. You always have to make a U-turn which can be very inconvenient with a trailer. CubeSmart itself is fine, just this location has some access problems.

Had this storage unit for I think just over 2 years. When I first moved in it was super clean and ready, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I never had any issues, no complaints. I think the main thing that needs improvement is the carts used to haul your things for the inside storage, a few of them are broken and have issues. Slightly unsafe.

I rented a spot for 5 years. Easy in and easy out at all hours of the day and night. Very clean and safe feeling facility. No roaches or mice/rats. Great feeling to clear out your stuff and not see little black pebbles all along the wall or on your stuff. I would recommend anyone in the Henderson area to rent here.

Security is terrible my daughter's storage was broken into there are entrances that are missing the door handles elevator didn't work tonight the gate has been hit and left open every now and then in other words maintenance to the storage facility is terrible just like the security of the place not even sure if there is a on site manager tried one night but all I got was no answer not even a ring tone I think because of no wifi in the place all in all I'll be looking for another storage facility

I had issues with a parking spot and couldnt get a trailer in. WHile I was told I could, and I had issues contacting them, they DID rectify the issue. So while I had to go somewhere else, they made things right in the end. I have to give them credit for that. You can feel confident that they will do their best to ensure you have a good experience with them.

I ended up renting out a storage unit here for one reason and one reason alone. It’s because of the amazing treatment and impeccable customer service i received from David. Plain and simple. I went to numerous storage unit places and was barely even acknowledged at every one of them. Very little information given, no smile and everyone seemed perturbed whenever i would ask questions. Not here! David smiled and greeted me the second i walked thru the door. It seemed to be a busy day at this location that day, but he still took time out to show me not 1, but 3 different size storage units so i could decide which one worked best for me. He answered every question i had with a smile and didn’t rush me at all. Was so impressed that i ended up getting my storage unit that day even though i hadn’t planned on getting it for a few weeks. I’ve had no issues since my belongings have been stored here and i know that if i ever have any questions or concerns, David will be there to help me with a smile on his face. Thank you David for your top notch customer service! You have earned a customer for life.

Went to go get a Penske truck because Uhaul is crazy expensive lol the guy there was EXTREMELY nice & friendly. His customer service skills were just awesome, really made it felt home like. I came in to pickup my truck because I prepaid a beforehand & he had everything on file too. Truck was filled up & looked great! 10/10 experience! The most important factors I considered were that the area feel safe and the building be clean and rodent free. The location here is great and is tucked away, yet visible. The walkways and elevators are kept clean. A cart is provided at each entrance. No pests or rodents noticed during the past year I've been here. Staff is really helpful and friendly. David makes me feel like a valued renter by recognizing me in person or over the phone. It's been a great experience despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought me to rent this unit.

I went to this Cube smart as refereed to by a friend. The experience beginning to end was great. The staff especially David are friendly and helpful. The units are very clean and the facility is well maintained. I have rented a unit for over a year. Even upon move out David and staff have been very nice. I first learned of this place when I came to repair a camera. In repairing the camera, I found another camera that they didn't even know that they had, and I got it online for them. I had a good experience, and I always try to give the businesses, that I have done work for, my business. Therefore, I found myself in need of a storage unit oh, this is where I came. Now, I am amending an earlier review, in which I spoke of renting the unit, the price quoted, and the price charged being different. I do not remember who I spoke with at that time, but I know that I asked very specifically for the final price, so when it differed from what I was told, I was a little bothered. Other than that, I had a generally good experience, as everyone I spoke with was nice, and the facility s everything that you could ask for, except for robots to move everything for you! I am not counting on that within the next 20 years, unfortunately! Coming to the present, I found myself situation where I was financially nice situation where I was financially challenge, due to having to shut down my business, as a result of current pandemic. I ended up getting the money for my payments, 1 month and 1 day late, and it was going to cost me more money and possibly threaten my ability to keep my payments going, so that I did not lose my possessions. This is where David came in and really helped me to get this thing dealt with, and I weigh that would help me to keep my payment current, and not put an unreasonable Financial strain on me. All I wanted was to not lose my stuff and be in a position to keep paying on it and not falling further behind. David did not have to help me, I'm sure he has plenty of other customers are in the same position, but the fact that he did take the time to help me, speaks volumes as to how the business is run, and where the heart is. I could not be more appreciative of the efforts that he took to help me with this. You can get a storage unit anywhere, and they can probably I'll provide you with a similar experience as far as a room to put your stuff in. How many of them are going to step up and help you out, when you are over a month late, especially when it is a situation that is probably pretty common right now, due to the current state of affairs in the world? All that I can say, is that considering what I have been through, and the help that has been given to me, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else, to store my possessions, in the Las Vegas area. Thanks again Dave, I really appreciate you understanding, and you taking the time to help me.

This facility is basically, the same"Generic Storage Facility"...like all others. It does get a low score from me in regards to the facilities "carts", that they provide. None of the handles are attached anymore. The screws are missing, whereas if you arent careful, your loaded items will be unstable while using these damaged carts.I was pulling one and while going thru a doorway to elevator. I needed to shift the carts direction. And all of a sudden, the steel handled bar came right out, sending me to the floor My reason for this blog and rating, is to hopefully enlighten all storage facility users...Beware...these "So Called". INSURANCE POLICIES... are bogus.as far as being an asset for us renters. That are forced to carry coverage. Almost every storage facility offers you to purchase a policy from the company they provide for you. At an additional cost. But I have done some investigative digging. Heres what I've learned. Burglaries:. If your locked is picked and doesnt show "forced" entry, with visible damage. No claim will be paid. If your lock is cut, and thief takes the cut lock with them. No paid claim. If lock is cut, and thief puts on a replacement "good" lock, that you obviously dont have a key to. No paid claim. If thief is planning on multiple entries to your unit. And pries lock slide and door to be opened, reshut, and at later time. Opened back up for more theiving... no coverage!!! I have found out that the majority of all storage unit facilities that claim they have security cameras on premises.. None are in the actual hallways, where the units are. Usually there is only a camera at the entrance, and or exit gate. And maybe a few on outside of the perimeters drive areas. This company I found on web, should be one that any and all who rent should consider as their insurance. Carrier. Its 1/2 the price of what storage businesses are charging.

Kayba understood we were in a little bit of a time press and did a flurry of multitasking efficiency to help us pick out our unit, complete all the paperwork and get everything moved in record time. The facility and grounds are very clean and neat. The staff is very friendly and helpful !!!!! I feel my belongings are safe and secure. The only minor issue was the mandatory insurance charge at check in. I was never told there is a mandatory insurance premium required to rent. All e-mails sent to me prior to check in never mentioned the mandatory insurance premium requirement.

Smells like rancid cigarettes inside and I'm not into that. If only it was as good as the ones in Arizona. I'd use a different one / location than this one . Or make them a smoke free Environment. The location is handy and the facility is climate controlled. I have had a unit here for several years but in the past 2 years or so I have had several rate hikes. The most recent is $15 more than I have been paying. I rented here for quite some time in the beginning with only one very small ($4) rate hike. The hikes are now occurring at least once a year should you be on a tight budget and the notice is 30 days in advance.

I needed a storage spot in a hurry. I was able to secure a reservation over the phone with a customer service rep that was cogent and amicable . The staff at the location were very pleasant and got me into my spot without a hitch. I was afforded an opportunity to move out relatively quickly and retrieved my items after hours. The following morning, the staff contacted me to check on the status of my storage unit as the lock was removed and the unit was empty. This attention to detail made a tough situation bearable. I recommend this company to anyone needing a storage unit. I plan to use them in the future.

Excellent customer service (Robby, the onsite manager showed us our unit/facility and made sure we were able to open the gate using our code, etc.).
