There is a gentleman named Chris at the CubeSmart on lake Mead and Rock springs and he was just wonderful. Professional, very kind, and just a great man to help me get a storage unit started. The guy in the office I spoke with was really nice. I think it was John, but It’s convenient that there’s an app to open the gates instead of typing out the code to get in. Friendly service and clean storage place ??. I set up everything online and didn’t necessarily have to go through the office for anything. They sent details of my unit through email immediately, and my lock and keys were inside the unit in a little welcome bag. Returned the temporary lock that they placed on the unit (was given a temporary code for that lock - also included in the email) and that was it. Quick process! 10/10 ??.. thanks guys!

Moved to CubeSmart Self Storage because they had better prices than where we were before. Been there for more than a year now. Customer service has always been excellent, but yesterday we met John who far exceeded our previous experiences. Not only was he friendly and efficient, he also offered to give us a bigger unit for about the same price as what we were already paying, saying he wants his customers to be happy. We jumped on that before he could change his mind, lol. Highly recommend CubeSmart for your storage needs.

1* is beyond generous for this company as a whole and this location specifically. First and foremost- people pay for secure storage.. and this location cannot offer it. They experience regular break ins, some (reportedly) at the hands of employees who know which units to target and are protected by the company’s iron-clad no-fault lease agreement. The outer doors that lead into the interior units are not locked or armed, leaving the interior units susceptible to break-ins. My exterior unit was accessed from the ceiling by someone who was able to get into the unit next to mine and roll the sheet metal down far enough to load out multiple medium and large items. From the outside it appeared there was no entry, with the lock securely in place. However, the interior of the unit was trashed and the literal wall had been cut into to remove my items. The facility did not contact me, even through they were aware of the break-in. I found it 4 days later and then received no help or assistance from the staff. The company will not provide video footage or even a copy of the police report they claim they will file, which makes filing the claim on your own insurance more difficult. On top of all of this, the rates are outrageous and increase annually. The same sized units are available elsewhere for literally 1/2 the cost. Under no circumstance should someone trust this company with anything that matters to them. Additionally, their below comment asking me to reach out about my situation is ridiculous. This review was left after filing my claim, after speaking with the GM of this location, after speaking with their employees, and after speaking with the corporate office assigned to handle complaints and claims.

Terrible place to store. The facility isn’t bad but the management is terrible at this facility. If you want someone in your business every time you step on the property , then this is the place for you. I stored here for about a month and left very quickly , surprisingly enough , I ended up going to extra space storage and the same unit cube mart was renting to me without climate control is half the price with climate control down the road. If anything I’m glad management was terrible because it made me find a better deal. I will never store at a cubes mart again. Thanks for reading…

***WARNING**** You would be wise to avoid doing business with cube smart. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. They are: liars, thieves, unethical, and above all, they do not care about integrity; they willfully and knowingly hurt people, have no understanding what customer service is, and they are quite content doing wrong. Read the myriad of awful reviews and trust what you read. When we arrived in North Las Vegas, we had an excess of home furnishings, etc ... that needed to be stored. We found Storage West. They were awesome! Friendly, easy to work with, personable then one day, having been customers for a few years ... we attempted access to our unit. Denied. We believed there was merely a glitch. We were met by management explaining they were bought by cube smart. Our unit was locked due to failure to pay for two months. Their new fees were assessed in addition to a rate increase -- bear in mind we had just had rent raised by $50 a few months before. New rate after the increase exceeded $200 + fees. After hours of lines, exchanges with our bank. printing receipts, driving to the unit, and proving conclusively that cube smart was wrong, we were still denied access to our unit. Enraged, I asked why this was happening. The response: cube smart knows that size unit is in great demand and they can get whatever they want for it. Days later, my wife received a call stating it was an internal glitch, and a suggestion to get over it and move on. Absolutely not. We have found a wonderful storage facility less than 1/4 mile from our home, significantly less rent, amazing people, and the best customer service -- hello Shield Storage, goodbye cube, a wonderful, breath of fresh air welcome to Shield Storage.

I actually was going to rent at another storage, Public Storage. I could not get through their web site I gave up and tried yours, it was so easy,. I am 69 years old and these things can be a challenge. I knew when speaking to the person that called me shortly after signing up he had given me instructions regarding the codes , etc. Of course, I think I deleted it. Help ! There is no A.C. or swamp cooler working for more than. 2 weeks or maybe longer. ITS 96 DEGREES and that's on the inside!!! The staff here is always great! I'm sure they can only do so much. But this week the temperature in Vegas is going up!!!!Its cooperate that needs to get it together. My friend who also has a storage here & I have complained,spoken to many cooperate Cube Smart individuals that don't seem to understand the vegas heat. We left messages for district mgr ,talked on chat lines .etc. last yr in June it broke down also. Once again, The local mgr. & employees are always great& helpful! Place has gone down hill past 2 years. Garbage on site is not appealing. Depending on the staff in the office and what your asking is a hit and miss. This site is unsightly compared to others and overpriced. We were raised during covid 2 times and only notified once. I've grown to not accept paying for something thats over priced and not well kept. The trash around the site which i know comes from people vacating their units and not caring where they dump their garbage is definitely a turn off. Decided to vacate to a place 80 dollars less per month, with a 3 month 1/2 price special and its spotless. Update 5/30/2023 Since this post the trash has been removed. Although the surrounding areas still have debris i guess it's up to cube smart to deal with their property management company on that matter. Much better now.

So at first I rented a small unit for about 5 months then I just upgraded to a big unit quick and great service the only downfall here that kept them from getting the five stars is the exit elevator or the elevator closer to the exit gate it's constantly broken down and there's not enough carts to go around the whole property you usually got to hunt one down or at least I do but the staff is great the property's Great I reserved my second one online they called me on the phone I asked him if they can move the location for more convenient for me and they did it with no hesitation

National phone sales woman in another part of the country lied to me and said if you sign up with Cube Smart you get a free moving truck. Then I found out from the local guy who works at the location AFTER signing the contract that they DO NOT give a free rental truck. He told that to the national sales woman but she lied to me so she could get a sale. Then I arrive to find the unit is on the 2nd floor and the elevator is broken. Be careful walking the halls because at any moment a jagged piece of sheet metal covering the walls will rip off a slice of skin like it's an enormous cheese grater. We find the unit after wandering in this unmarked labyrinthian maze with bad lighting from a nightmare, it's tucked away in a corner where no light reaches. There is no light in the room and no outlet to plug in a light. I used my phone light to discover a 4 inch water pipe in the room and water stains on the wall with exposed rusty screws and growing black mold on the walls. I closed the door and left to get a new storage facility that doesn't look like a Freddy Kruger movie.

Long story short I had a storage that I had for three days literally from the day I got it to the day I canceled it I never moved in anything because the door on the unit was broken and then when I canceled my unit they wouldn’t give me my full refund they only gave me some of my money back they kept the administration fee which was like $34 and they kept the insurance on the storage but gave me the rent back for the Storage unit which makes absolutely no sense seeing as how it’s been three days it has not been used the door was broke and the rent and insurance go hand-in-hand so they definitely should have given it all back to me and They didn’t and the most They could do was say I’m sorry ma’am that’s just how it is other than that the place looks clean and seems like a place that I would want to store my belongings at.

The worst setup I've ever seen. First step, as I paid for my storage. I was never escorted to the location where I was suppose to store my things. When I finally found the storage. As was taking my things out of the U-haul. I was suspicious of a person in a black vehicle parked at the gate watching as I unloaded my things. When I finish she left right before I did. One night I tried to visit my storage to get somethings to sell,, but I was unable to get into my storage.Later, I was informed that I had loaded my things in the wrong storage and the lock was cut and a new lock was put on the storage.

Employees were nice. But when they told me I could no longer pay over the phone at the location. I had to pay online. One point they credited the fee. I just continued to pay online and paid the extra fee. As I didn’t want my credit card compromised! I feel like they should have went in and credited my account. Became very expensive. My unit was broken in to. The place is always filthy with trash sitting for days or weeks. That alone shows me and anyone else that they are not really paying attention to what's going on. There are a lot of sketchy people walking around and unauthorized people entering. My fiancé and I witnessed an RV getting broken into by a group of kids one day. They were chased off by staff, but I wonder what would have happened had it not been office hours as there is no after hours security. The staff is pretty nice, but nice only goes so far. I've had quite a few storage units in my lifetime and this was by far the worst experience I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

These units are secure, clean and well lit. They play music in the hallways so it's not so creepy being alone at night. I kept my things here for over a year with no issues. Horrible customer service. I paid 170 a month for a year. All I asked was to get a call or text if the tarp on my vehicle blew off due to the high winds here in Vegas. Never a call.. those lazy office staff never bothered to check the covered parking area. I had to stop there once a week and put the tarp back on as it was blown halfway in the parking lot.

Great staff and got a unit quickly. The unit was clean. The monthly insurance was an added expense for me. My only gripe of them not having enough dollies to move your boxes in and out of units that can be some distance from the entrance. With the covid-19, take handiwipes, hand sanitizers or gloves with you. Anything you touch-- door handles, keypads, and dollies are not the cleanest. The exit area certainly needs cleaning because of non- caring people throwing their plastic drinking bottles on the ground. There are no trash cans available.

Kris was very friendly and service minded, but there is other staff working here too. Was refused service when visiting the office (which was empty, like it usually is, except for 1 staff) because I didnt wear a mask. There had been no prior information sent out to customers that this had been mandatory. Not on the web page, not via email. It is disturbing that business culture is so flaky that basic information flow does not work. There are other flaky things with Cubesmart too - the main gate hasnt been working for several months (so customers have to exit the car and press a keypad to open the back gate, then drive opposite to painted lines), the elevator was out of order for a very long time (but fixed now). If they truly were so interested in protection against COVID-19 virus it would have been smarter to give customers electronic transmitters so they wouldnt have to touch the keypads, or to install automatic door openers to prevent virus transmission via door handles. But it seems as if they are more interested in virtue signaling than actual prevention.

It's been almost a year since I have stored my things at CubeSmart on Rock Springs in Las Vegas. I hope I get the names correctly but if you have been there you will know who I am referring to even if I get the name wrong. The manager, Michael, has always been very helpful, informative, and ready to assist me when I need it. There's another person there, I think her name is, Kris. She is the one that signed me up and took AWESOME care of me. She is so focused on taking care of her customers and proud of her place of work. I've probably used a dozen different storage facilities over the years. This CubeSmart (0440) is easily among the best. Kris and Michael are always professional and helpful. They keep the facilities and equipment in excellent condition. More importantly, Kris and Michael have outstanding people skills; they are both nice, friendly humans. Even at times when someone is having a bad day or moment, they empathize, relate, and communicate. No saccharine here, just real people. Kris and Michael are what sets this location above the rest. I recently moved to Vegas and had lots of trouble find the perfect storage location for my RV. Moving is like going to the dentist. Its one of those things that you have to do but nobody likes it. Yesterday though the gentleman Michael that works at the CubeSmart on rock springs. Really restored my faith in people. at a time when it felt impossible. Quite simply his ability to communicate with me and his knowlege .Turned out to be such a blessing. I was incorrect in my thinking of how much space i would need and how much it was going to cost to move all my things. Michael was there with expert information . Kris Wilson the manager is absolutely amazing. My old apartment complex raised my rent so unbelievably high I couldn’t afford it. I came in crying and damn near hysterical and near my breaking point unable to get a word out otherwise. She helped me out with everything and made my whole time renting here very pleasant and basically saved my life. Not only did kris open the door and let me in she still took her time and helped me as if I had made it doing business hours. Which was greatly appreciated especially with me having to be out of my place by 6:30 that very evening had it not been for her only God knows. Maybe Eileen could take a few pointers from kris about customer service. Everything was great other than the fact I had to leave a key because the light was burnt out in my unit. I was told that it would be replaced by morning and I signed paperwork to leave the key with them. I returned around noon the next day and the light was still out. I still moved my belongings because well its moving day and I didn't have time. I went to the office the next day to get my 2nd key. I let them know that the light was not replaced (not a big deal btw) and to that I was told that it's an additional $15 a month for electricity! Um what it's a light bulb and are you kidding me?! Obviously only making it up instead of apologizing for not having it done. Let's hope these next 6 months don't have any more random stories told to me.
