I truly recommend that you stay away from CubeSmart because they act like they're giving you a good deal or helping you out but I've been a loyal customer for 3 years and all they do is raise the rates that is not how you treat a loyal customer how disrespectful of a company, they won't get any of my business anymore

{I know it's not the guys fault at the desk, he's always helpful} but talk about a inconvenience! I explained my situation to the clerk already, I've been a customer 2 years plus, so I assume being a customer here for that long means nothing to them, they won't charge my account for my payment on my storage, the only card they have ever used because my expiration is updated, SAME NUMBER< SAME ACCOUNT nothing different but the expiration has been updated to 2028, the clerk even told me to create account online, I do so but there's no option to update my card information, I have no way to get to the store & make the payment, hope nobody has to deal with this, I'm so disguised in this company! The money for the payment is just sitting on the card, It should never be a problem to pay your bill especially for your belongings!!! Just making everyone is aware & this review is for the location at 8856 W Centennial PKWY, Las Vegas, NV 89149 Don't reply unless you have a solution CUBESMART! Don't send me your email because I've contacted twice in the past thru email & never got a reply.....Your customer concern line don't work either, goes straight to answering machine & how can you raise prices if your doing the same thing all the time nothing different is added to the property just your pockets.....smh!

Very clean, the unit is 10x10 and looks brand new. I had a bit of trouble with the lock I bought from them, but a person accessing her unit helped me figure it out. I had never used that type of lock before, but I really like it now. I am putting household stuff here to sell my house and go spend time with my parents in their 90s. It's stressful but this place will be an enormous help. Then, I'm moving away, and it will be easy, thanks to CubeSmart. I like how this place operates. YAY!

The place I initially moved in to was bought out by CubeSmart and in two years my rates doubled with an actual reduction in the quality of the service provided. I'd actually moved into this location to get away from CubeSmart because of the same issue. Regular rate increases that are supposedly to keep prices competitive, even though I was easily able to find another unit with a reasonable rate only blocks away. In my opinion they raise rates because they know how much of a pain it is to move storage areas. I recommend avoiding CubeSmart unless you will be out of the unit while still in the introductory rate. Even if you will only be using this in a very temporary basis, avoid CubeSmart to discourage these business practices.

Moved to a new state, my home wasn't ready so I needed storage. 2 - 10x20 units cost less than $200 for the 1 month I needed. I moved what was left to a smaller unit and received a refund for the unused portion. WOW!

When completing the online move-in it forced me to add their property insurance. When I arrived at the unit a few hours later to remove the insurance I was informed that it would not back date or prorate, and the insurance would be removed effective next month. In order to remove their insurance I had to email them a copy of my renters insurance, which felt like an invasive overcollection of personal data. In the event that my unit is broken in to, they would not be paying to replace my items whether I actually had a third party policy in place or not, so why collect that personal information from me?

Staff was incredible! Units were always so clean and perfect for what we needed! The property was so well taken care of. If we ever had any issues it was always dealt with fast and great communication the whole time. We loved their business so much that when we moved across town having a CubeSmart near by was a deciding factor of where we went.

The customer service rep on the phone and the staff at the site were very helpful and friendly. I also appreciate the 35% off which was the deciding factor to use CubeSmart instead of the other storage companies nearby.

Current renter. My BF and I were putting items in late at night and lost track of time we hurried outside to leave and was a minute too late (it was 10pm) we got locked inside the storage center. The “emergency number” provided above the keypad was no help and all the numbers we found online only led us to the same phone line and operator; there was no way for us to make contact with any sort of support or the owners. We ended up having to abandon our vehicle overnight and call for an Uber home. IF YOU HAVE AN “EMERGENCY NUMBER” ACTUALLY HAVE IT WORK OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT AND OR LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW YOU CAN GET LOCKED INSIDE!

Had set up to get a unit but because of work was unable to make it in to finalize that day. Got a call and texted back the issue and that I’d be in first thing in the morning the next day. I drove all the way from the green valley area to centennial hills only to find the store closed with a sign saying they were unstaffed and wouldn’t open until 2pm. Because of that I went to another store and got a better deal where the management lives on site and they are always available so it worked out better in the end that cube smart inconvenienced me.

Rented a 10x10 storage unit when I was moving back to Vegas from Denver. Was able to do everything online which was amazing and super easy. The grounds were always clean and everything always worked; never had any issues with interior lights, doors or gates. Move out was even easier to my surprise. I cleaned out my unit and removed the lock. Was going to call since I moved out on a Sunday, but got side tracked with work. A few days later had a move out email sent to me so was very refreshing to not need to give a 30 day notice. When I first rented in September if 2022, prices were high, but they were in line with every other storage place in town so I had no issues and I think prices may have dropped a bit since then. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing a storage unit. Only comment I would have is if the main doors to access interior units had some type of prop to keep them open when you are moving your things.

Went in yesterday and rented a unit with Lupe. She was so patient and thorough in explaining the process from start to finish. This is my first experience renting a storage and she made the process so easy. Moving is already stressful enough, so Lupe’s customer service made it a huge relief. She even showed me another unit to make sure I was committing to the right size. I’ve worked in leadership for the last decade and if I wasn’t moving, I would recruit her to my team. I chose this location and company because their pricing was on point and what I go was a great experience. I tried to finish this process on line and when it errored out I got a call the next day from Lupe. I told her about this mix up and both she and Shannon were fantastic at delivering top notch customer service. Their ability to make myself and my family feel welcomed was unparalleled. I'm glad that the website glitched out. How come no one reviewing how amazing these girls are???? Like they set my storage in a matter of not even 15 mins and getting out, not even a problem. Here my name and storage unit, done. Definitely coming back for my storage needs cuz maaaan, it ain't expensive and they super straight forward on what to you need to do. Shannon is a doll and the sweetest person ever and Lupe is amazing, so chill, and easy to talk to. I literally can't even say any more good things about this location and these girls :)

Great location, and great staff. Very good for short term renters. The only issue I had was the change in pricing for long term renters. I rented here from April 2020 to August 2021 (16 months), as a loyal and good customer. The price was stable during this period for a small unit around $57 per month. Then, I received a letter telling me the price will increase from $57 to $71 per month (which is an 24.5% increase in once). So I had no choice and I left and find another storage company with the same price I was paying previously. So the key takeaways are : - Very good for short term renting - Expect an increase of price if you're a long term renter. And have a plan B, in case the new price is not affordable for you. I went to Storage West (Centennial Hills location) and Lupe was our contact throughout the whole process. She was fantastic! EXCELLENT customer service. She explained everything thoroughly and got us scheduled for our free moving truck! HIGHLY recommend and so happy with the service and how clean and maintained the facility looked! (Which is especially a plus during COVID!) 10/10 would recommend!

Mike is a most ignorant-behaving man! I gave notice of moving out of a storage unit 2.5 weeks in advance. It was going to be one day early of the rent that was paid in advance and I told both Bea and Jennifer not to worry about the one day. They were very nice and accommodating. The storage unit was being rented my 83-yr-old mother-in-law, so I was handling the call for her. I was calling from PA, my 25-yr-old son from FL drove to Vegas to unload his grandparents' storage unit into a 26' Penske truck and move them to Oregon. When I received an email statement that my mother-in-law was being charged for another month, I called to settle the situation. Mike told me 4 times that he didn't know when the unit had been vacated, and that he had just found it empty. That was 2 days after it was vacated. He was basically calling me a liar, as I told him the day it was vacated. He even finally looked up the email he was sent 2 weeks earlier regarding same unit, and had never read, stating the date of the move. He even read it to me over the phone! He charged for the same day he found the unit empty, even though it was obviously vacated before that day. It is not the $9 overpay, but the extremely unreasonable and poor attitude of Mike that would cause me to highly recommend you FIND ANOTHER STORAGE LOCATION to store your belongings.
