I used to rent a storage unit here back when it was owned by a different company. I had a pretty good experience with them, so I went back -- and found that a new company, CubeSmart, had bought the location. I was a little wary because sometimes storage places aren't always the nicest or most trustworthy, but I decided to go ahead and see if I liked the new company since the location was still so convenient. We met with Dodie, the manager, and immediate knew we'd made the right choice. She is incredibly polite and professional, and went more than above and beyond to get us into a unit right away; and when we realized that we were accumulating WAY more stuff than we thought and that we needed a bigger unit, she went above and beyond AGAIN to get us into a better unit for our needs. She checked in with us every step of the way, followed up afterward to make sure we were happy, and has been available for any questions or concerns. Her staff is also great -- the once or twice I needed something during my unit switch, they were great and communicative and made sure I had everything I needed. The buildings are clean and swept, the units themselves are really nicely maintained and the rolling doors are smooth, the air cooling system is powerful. Hard to ask for anything better, really! I feel very safe and comfortable when I need to access the unit by myself -- which can be a concern as a woman these days, honestly. If you're looking for a trustworthy, honest, clean and well-kept and SAFE storage location -- this is definitely it. Dodie and her staff will make sure you have everything you need and check in every step of the way. It's great, and I can't recommend them enough especially after some of the more negative experiences I've had at other storage facilities!

I have been with CubeSmart for over a year now ..I'm so impressed with the friendliness of the manager Dodie and her assistant TJ ..I actually stop in to the office just to say hello sometimes on my storage runs lol. When I was looking for a place to put my things because I was relocating, I shopped two other storage facilities but they were rude and really pricey, however the minute I met Dodie I knew that I was hauling my junk there !! Terrible. In less than 1 month, my unit, along with several others, was broken into and every single packed box was stolen. There seems to be no interest in addressing this problem. Also, an approximately 5x5 unit was only approx. 4'3 wide! Ridiculous.

My parents pay for two air-conditioned units here, and in both of the areas where these units are located, the air conditioning was not working. It was a terrible experience being in the units recently. Trying to look through our things while temperatures were over 120° was impossible. I hope this is just a minor issue and can be fixed quickly.

I had the best experience ever with the Facility Manager, Robert Andino at the Cube Smart Storage Facility at 8265 West Sahara, Las Vegas NV! I received a phone call from Robert letting me know that one of my units was not secured properly, And he was very concerned that I may lose some of my personal property. This man is a total lifesaver! Not only did he cut the lock off which was improperly placed on my unit by myself in a rush the other day, He took a photograph of what was in my unit to let me know that nothing had been taken and also put a brand new lock on there and secured the unit for me. I have never in my life seen such amazing attention to detail and professionalism... Not to mention exceptional customer service! If you are looking for a place to store your valuables, and you want them to be secure and monitored, there is only one place to go and that is Cube Smart! Robert Andino is a true asset to the CubeSmart organization! You will have my business forever!!

Just moved into town and needed a storage unit. This was the closest. What a huge mistake. Employee, Gary, was extremely rude and made us feel like we were interupting him. There's a million other storage units around here, it is shocking that customer service isn't a priority, we left before even hearing prices.

We moved back to Las Vegas after a few years in California and returned to Storage West even though there are numerous self-storage facilities between our new home and this location. The entire property is clean, safe, well-maintained and professionally managed. The level of customer service provided by our agent, Gary, was reason enough to drive across town to visit our belongings in storage. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible in helping us set up arrangements for our movers to enter the property in spite of our schedule changes. I recommend Storage West without reservation.

The thing I find most intriguing and interesting about Storage West is not the fact that it has Clean units and a nice accommodating staff but that all of the units or ground level even the upstairs ones. Yeah I figured that one out. The drive is ramped naturally affording drive up to the upper levels also. Great layout, big units, comprable prices.

This is a great storage place good location very clean. The only thing I don't like is the hours. I wish I had access past 8pm. Other than that great and very nice staff.

UPDATE: This place does not invoice you, keep a card on file, or sends any type of reminder when bill is due. They will add late fees with ZERO contact to you. Make sure you contact them every 30 days to make sure you're paid on time. DON'T FORGET BY MISTAKE, $35 bucks if you do :( I changed from 5 stars to 3 stars due to their communication/billing system. I moved from a previous Storage West that was great. I am happy to say this place is just as awesome! Victor was very helpful and was able to get me in a great unit right away. The site is very clean and feels secure. I highly recommend this place for storage needs!

Great customer service. You get exactly what they claim. Mistakenly left some items outside of my unit and they were stolen; staff were unable to help me with videotape, etc. I did sign something saying that's not their responsibility, so again, they set the expectation pretty clearly.
