I'm new to Las Vegas community. And I was treated so well at this location. The receptionist Yvette v was so amazing and helping me not only get my storage. But she was also very informative about other things in the community and she was very helpful I don't know what I would have done without her. There need to be more people in the world like her. On April 3rd 2024 I tried repeatedly to phone the CubeSmart on sunset road in Las Vegas Nevada to speak with someone to let them know I was on my way to do my paperwork and also to bring belongings of mine to my unit. I had previously not been to this Cube Smart in the past. Upon arriving I had to wait for 30 minutes as I had been calling prior to my arrival and couldn't get anybody to answer for approximately an hour once I got there the clerk showed up 25 minutes before her close of business to which she said that she just got back and she'd only been gone for a very minimal amount of time which I knew not to be the truth but for whatever reason I guess she chose to tell me what she told me. I gave her my name and she pulled up my reservation and she started going through the process of telling me what the agreement was and what it would cost on a monthly basis and what the move-in cost was at 50% and 35% off for the first month I had also the day before on April 2nd 2024 received an email from CubeSmart stating what my move in balance would be. Well unfortunately for me that is my email that I received and the amount the clerk was telling me had two different zip codes neither were close to being the same amount of money. I requested to know why she was now telling me one bit of information which did not coincide with the information sent to me allegedly I'm assuming by a CubeSmart corporate or whoever does their reservations and whatnot. After repeatedly going over this with her I asked for their home address of their corporate offices which she stated were in Pennsylvania, I don't know this to be true or not because I have yet to have the time to check into it. However, I did state to her that I was going to be sending in a complaint as to their practices and wanted to know why it is that their corporate offices would allow such flagrant inconsistencies in information they put out to the public. As it was I had to go around to everybody that was with me helping me move into the storage unit from my house and get enough money to come up with so as to pay the amount because she told me also that if I don't show her my declarations page on my homeowners insurance that I couldn't rent. I think I am speaking for everyone who is in a position of inquiring of a company that they intend on perhaps doing business within the future that said company should obviously put all information out there and I mean all a l l a l l information out there so that the person knows what they're dealing with ahead of time instead of having to wait until they get there and then they got to scramble to make things happen. I do hope this review gives individuals at least an insight as to and I'm not saying practices of every CubeSmart either franchise or individual company owned by individuals or whatever the situation may be actually across the board any company. People need to take a look at this and they need to be upfront from the get-go and perhaps they would have a more committed clientele that would stay with their company because as it is right now I don't plan on staying after my first month. You know perhaps if CubeSmart was to issue some sort of at least an apology for this clerks behavior and quite frankly the only answer that she could come up with in telling me about the situation was quote and quote "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry". It's obviously the training. Spent on this individual was not worth it on a corporate level because the money expended on individuals to train this person well I'm sorry but it didn't happen, either that or she can't pay attention.

Imagine having to get a professional dog trainer just to deal with these so called “workers” I don’t see how Shasta can be a manger when she doesn’t help if it doesn’t benefit her or Yvette when she’s abusive towards customers It just baffles me and yea we did have to get our good friend who’s a dog trainer to even handle Shasta and her sick attitude If you want to be disrespected, annoyed, yelled at for your SERVICE DOG being there and must be tied up, abused and your stuff being sold, stolen without you knowing then YES this is the best place for you

There’s is not security or cameras in areas of concern where our items were stored we and 60 other units were robbed. No one but Shasta the manager show any concern. Shasta - manager if CubeSmart was the only person to care about my losses and deceased husbands items I kept for 12 years also robbed. She was empathetic and tried her best to assist me. But the corporation did nothing to show any sort of apology for allowing this to happen. They have absolutely no security or cameras in area to monitor the units. No one monitors the property and it’s a free for all thieves to just come and steal your things. It happened 02/08/2024. No one has contacted me from corporate to apologize or other. Yet they charge more than other storage facilities. Thank you Shasta for caring. Corporate is useless and they offered no compensation for thousands and thousands of dollars of my losses. Not to mention my deceased husbands videos and items I kept To hold on to his memories for me and my children.

It was all good till the $23 dollar increase charge for inflation lol. They will charge you for a specialty lock that is virtually useless after you move out but mandatory for you to have cause you simply can’t use any other lock lol. Those are my only two gripes. Would have stayed but next door neighbor cut the cost in half by almost $60 from $133. So you tell me. Oh! The other problem. Seems like no one is ever on duty at the sunset location.

Terrible called the District Manager on Yvette. Since the first day we met her she harassed us, this last time she came to the storage and knocked saying that we can’t be there or else she’s gonna call the cops. Then she got in her little cart and driver away while we were questioning her. Yvette will harass you if she doesn’t like you, especially when Shasta is not here. Yvette threatened, harassed and told us we’re not allowed to be here even when we’ve paid our bill, code works, no lock on our storage. Yvette has proven to us that no matter the situation people are just evil and just wish you the worst. I don’t think I can feel sorry for customer service reps getting yelled at when you give them a little power and they call the cops on you

SUNSET AND SANDHILL LOCATION We have been trying to contact someone from the office location on Sunset and Sandhill for over six weeks. Horrible service. They do deduct the money monthly, on time but that’s it. So I would advise testing to make sure your code works before renting a truck to add or remove anything from your unit if you decide to use their services. Not sure how they received 4.6 stars. Cannot wait to remove my stuff from this location. Reaching out to a lawyer because this has been such an inconvenience nightmare. Before CubeSmart took over this location, this office was on point. I WOULD NEVER EVER USE OR REFER this place to anyone again.

THANK YOU SHASTA! As soon as I walked in. Bright smile, great attitude and very kind. This woman was the stream of light on a gloomy day.......My gloomy day to be exact. I've been in customer service for over 20 years and every store or place of business I walk into customer service is the first thing notice. You never know what someone is going through and how the smallest gesture of kindness or even a smile could turn things around. Well, Shasta was kind, polite and even offered me a bottle of water. She walked me to my unit, explained everything I needed to know and didn't rush me out the door. Kudos to whoever hired this young lady. And kudos to you Ms Shasta for your excellent service!

Great place, great trainers. I had a BMI of 34. Now 11months later down to 23.5. Lost 40 lbs of fat and replaced it with muscle. Give it a try! All you need to invest is time in yourself. Once you lose weight and put on muscle you'll feel the difference. Ask for Allison

Once I arrived at CubeSmart until i departed there was nothing but pleasant professionalism from the Young lady working the front desk , her name is Shasta ! I also took notice of how clean Cubesmart Self Storage Facility was and I was impressed to say the least. I would definitely recommend this Storage place to others. JG

Wonderful first impression! Needed a storage unit and after reading online reviews and costs found Storage West - Sunset to be safe and reasonably priced. Was warmly greeted by Charles and Sally, quickly shown (2) units, and decided to rent. Lease documents were prepared, security explained, and left within 30 minutes. Storage West offers a truck for an entire day for free...just need to reserve it. The truck and discounts to veterans were a big plus for me.

Charles and Sally were helpful! Charles was very pleasant on the phone as well as in person. He gave us options that worked for us and went the extra mile to help us with an issue we had unloading. Storage West has very nice units that are clean and cooled. We couldn't be happier with our choice to store our things here.??

Great place to store your stuff and not bad pricing. Very friendly staff. Met Charles in April and didn't see him again until Judy last week, 7 months approx, and he remembered who I was and from where. Genuine and sincerely one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, which makes this place even better

Just moved unit from competitor next door (8/16). S.W. has better price, very friendly and helpful manager, and incredibly clean facility. Drive up 2nd floor units a major plus too.

The competition is cheaper and service is better. Don't waste your time. You will pay an additional $40 for lock, insurance, and some admin fee. It's just not worth it. Management only acts nice if you agree to write them a good review, otherwise, you pay premium and then some. I wouldn't store here, ever.
