I had a great experience at Cubesmart. When I went there, it was very busy, but I Was assisted by Hilda to whom was wonderful. She explained all the policies ,security system, insurance security, everything about the facility very clearly and understandable. Recently, a robbery occurred at a storage facility in Bayonne, NJ, approximately a month or close to two ago which made the news and other social media sources. Following this incident, the facility raised its prices without notifying tenants of the news. This lack of communication, coupled with the fact that the price increase was not in line with industry norms, has led to a lack of trust among customers. Despite the initial appeal of the facility's sign-up process, the post-promotion pricing is now higher than that of other storage units in the area, with a nearly $40 increase in less than eight months. Such a steep and early price hike is uncommon in the industry, where most companies only raise prices by a few dollars after at least a year or more. Given these factors, it would be more financially prudent to use another storage company in town or a CubeSmart in a neighboring town rather than in Bayonne NJ. It's a shame.

CubeSmart has been excellent since the beginning. Renting a unit is easy when doing it online. The prices are very fair and affordable. Upon opening my unit today, there was a gift bag with instructions and the lock for the unit. Which was a very nice touch and I also received a complementary call welcoming me to CubeSmart. The facility is clean, easy to access, and I actually feel very comfortable with my items begin stored here. Great experience so far!

Bad business. Overpriced. Think twice before renting it - is your stuff REALLY worth paying storage for it? Just do the math: if you pay $500 a month, it's $6,000 for a year... You better organize some space in your garage, basement or an attic, throw away some garbage, sell it or donate. Be smart, save money, invest in yourself. Don't feed this greedy evil company. They don't care about you, all they care is their money. "Best customer support award"? Really?! Then why there are hundreds of bad reviews online, on BBB, Trustpilot, Consumeraffairs? They give you their fake smiles in the beginning, because they just want your money. They insist on leaving a positive feedback on google right away, sometime even taking customer's phone and leaving a review by themselves. But afterwards, they don't really care about you, when you have an issue, like sudden 20% increase of rent, or overcharging you for an extra month, or theft. My advice, if you have to rent the unit - read all their policies carefully before you sign it, there are a lot of things you don't realize, they might take advantage of you, take your money, take your belongings, rub you and just tell you "It's in the contract, you signed it. No refund, no prorate, no money back, bye!" I moved out by the end of the month, left the unit empty and clean, but they still charged my card for the whole next month. Tried to find any sense from associate but it's like talking to a robot, not a human being. Basically they stole $900 from me. Have to file a complain in Better Business Bureau and go through the trouble of making a charge back through my bank. Their policies are ridiculous. If it was my business I would be ashamed. Stealing is a crime. But they do it legally, because it's a big company and they have it all written in their contracts, which off course nobody bothers reading.

I have been with cube smart for the last few years. The only thing that only made me give them 4 stars instead of 5 was the price, until I researched further only to see that prices are high all over. I'm not one for really writing reviews but Taicha was very helpful, so I just had to. Even though the prices are about in line with prices for other units, the facilities are kept well, and I have never had any issues unless I was a month or two late paying for my unit ?? Rude customer service associates. Staff changes constantly. Trying to park to load/unload is literally impossible. People sit in their cars and do not care if you are waiting in line to park. I do not recommend renting a storage space here. Parking is a huge issue. Go elsewhere!

Worse experience ever, paid unit online as well for truck. They told me it’s all set for pick up. When I go to the office, they stated about a fee that was never said on the phone conversation. The place is nice, air conditioned, and parking available. There is an app where you can unlock the gates, and I got the cheapest unit they have. It is a 5x5 and able to fit almost 6 storage boxes, a table, and a few small items. You will need a ladder to put your items in but it’s not that bad. Just remember, if it’s in your first time, they will hit you with “administrative fees”, a must have insurance fee, just basically come prepared to spend a good amount of money on your first visit!

Aside from a minor hiccup with my access code (this was resolved quickly over the phone) there were no issues with my rental. I'd use this storage facility again. I do appreciate there is an app, it was very useful. Note that there are no bathrooms on site though should you be at the facility after office hours. (I never went inside the office/retail area so idk if there are some in there or not).

Five stars for this facility! Storage is affordable, convenient, and pain free. Service was excellent from online reservation and phone calls to in-person purchasing of unit. Luis was extremely helpful in walking me through the process of storage as well as the lease agreement itself. The moving truck service they offer for their customers is very convenient too! All around great experience so far, would definitely recommend and will be using again myself in the future.

Friendly customer service but they have you set up your rental on your phone for a self service set up even when you’re there in person. The location has a cold business vibe that makes it less appealing. They're prices are really high also. Not worth it. I prefer Delta Storage just across from CubeSmart. Delta has excellent customer service and set you right up. For me, CubeSmart needs a more human approach.

I moved my belongings a couple of months ago under last minute circumstances. I signed up online and went in person to complete the process and ask a few questions. Although I could have completed the process online and been told just that while being scooted out the door, Elizabeth took the time to stop all that she was doing and assist me. She went over the rates, insurance policies, my booking information and answered all of my questions. When my booking was complete, Elizabeth even took me to the entrance and elevators to personally make sure I knew how the systems work. During this time, she had every loading spot filled with moving trucks, had multiple people in the office, and was helping a newer employee (who was also very polite and hard at work). Elizabeth did not rush me and even made me feel as if had established a rapport with her, which made me confident in having chose the right facility. I was very impressed with how she ran the establishment and knew I needed to eventually get around to writing a well deserved shout out. Elizabeth makes this place what it is, you go girl!

Liz and Camilla were excellent. Especially Liz who helped me a few days before I actually went in to reserve my cube. She answered all my question thoroughly. She was very much willing to show me all of the different choices I was interested in! I got a cube, realized I need a smaller one, and she switched me right away with no problem and a smile! She even brought me the iPad To sign the agreement while I was putting my stuff in the new cube to make easier for me and update everything. Great experience!

This storage facility is new, clean and in an excellent location but what supersedes all this is their Customer Satisfaction! I had a personal, unusual issue and the General Manager, Vanessa Williams was empathetic and extremely helpful with switching my unit. You know when you look up the reviews for a service that is renowned for not being the best, that's what I did with CubeSmart in Bayonne when I was looking for a self storage facility. I was surprised to see it got good reviews and I was skeptical, but I was wrong to be. I filled out a form online to reserve a place and was given a call by Monica who quickly ran through all the information I needed to know in advance and then arranged for me to come in and have a tour of the space at which point she showed me different units available for my needs. The facility in Bayonne is new, clean, modern and I'm so glad I chose this one and that I had someone like Monica to show me around and help me look for the space I needed.

The lobby of this CubeSmart storage facility gives you the impression you are in a 5 star hotel, I was really impressed. The Management staff (Solange & Monica) are extremely friendly, polite, and professional. Monica gave me a tour of the facility, showing me the various sizes I had to choose from. The best storage I've ever seen. Overall the place feels very secure, the units are neat and make the impression of solidly guarded. The felicity has camera's and bright lighting, also carts to assist you with your belongings. I'd not hesitate a second to return here if ever needed storage again. Excellent Customer Service and experience. The Staff was very helpful, polite and amazing. They were very helpful throughout the whole process. They answered and assisted me with all my inquiries. The facility is very clean and the elevators were spotless. Their signage is very distinct and precise so you can't get lost and if you do their are intercoms setup throughout the corridors that connect you with the office where a very polite and helpful employee is ready to assist you.

We are a family of four and we need space since our apartment has no room for storage. I use this storage for my hobbie equipment and clothes.I put winter clothes away in the summer and vice versa for other seasons. I have a couple bins and large items and was scared a small unit would not accommodate my belongings. Monica was the associate that helped me with getting my unit. She was very attentive and took her time showing me the different unit sizes. This was my first storage unit I ever rented and Monica explained their price points, payment options, and insurance policy to me. She patiently answered all my questions and she even helped me sign up for auto pay so that I wouldn't miss a payment because I explained I had a busy schedule. Monica showed me how to access the facility since you need a code to enter twice; once to enter and the second time at the elevator. I like the extra security. The employees are nice and the facility is kept clean. Note if your renting a small unit its best if you pick the top unit if your worried about the space. The reason being is because the units placed on the top have this mesh wire that allows you extra space when stuffing things in. The lower units have some sort of aluminum tops can intrude on your space and can be less helpful when maneuvering your items in a tight space.

I have to say that i am very pleased with the bayonne store not only bc the convenience of location but the people who work there. The young lady who help me, Monica, was extremely empathetic to my unique situation and really came through on a great unit for my dad and I. She really listened to our needs and made me in particular feel like she genuinely cared about our situation and trust me when i say, that i really needed that at that particular moment. She took her time with us not only to explain in detail but also with showing us various units until we were set on one. Now you can beat service like that. I dont know if the employees read these reviews or not but if by chance they do, Monica, thank you again for your time, knowledge and more importantly the patience to deal with an old grump like my pops.

Monica, Solange and Liz have been super and enormously helpful during what would have been a stressful move. CubeSmart is great in that it's clean, very tech savvy with cameras on all floors which gives it a feeling of security, especially for women who want to come alone. It also offers a van on a first come first serve basis for $10 which is very helpful when you're moving things to storage. No ridiculous contracts that hold you to anything. Everything is month to month which makes that helpful if you ever decide you do not need storage anymore. Definitely give them a try in Bayonne, NJ.

I was very impressed with everything about this business, from the professional, polite and helpful staff to the condition of the building. The storage space is perfect for me to store all my artwork which was piling up in my studio. Now I have more space to work. The ability to use their van to move all my paintings in one trip made it easy. It is so worth the money, my space is about $90. per month to have a very nice size storage which I can walk into and retrieve things. I recommend this business highly.
