The online services is so convenient. I was able to pick my storage size and did my payment and I immediately got an email with my Storage number and the password to the gate. Thank you Lisa. I have done big box retail for about 18 years. Upper management you name it I have done it. Lisa needs to be on CubeSmarts corporate side. I came out here from Colorado and this location with Lisa running the show just kicks butt. She got me a unit within 30 min explained everything in detail. Apologized for any inconvenience. I wasn't here long but Lisa is amazing. I hope I get the same treatment back home. My last CubeSmart didn't even have working lights or a security camera system. Lisa needs to go to a district manager position ASAP. She needs to be promoted immediately. Thank you Lisa for everything you did while I was out here. Above and beyond. This place (Montgomery CubeSmart) is awesome. I was in a bind and needed a storage solution ASAP. Lisa, the agent on site, was absolutely wonderful. She was helpful, positive, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I am so impressed with the service there and the facility. Lisa even offered bloww off the floor before the movers got there, and the floor was already super clean. They made what was a difficult solution, an easy, and pleasant experience. It's a storage place. They make you buy one of their locks which is pretty silly. And they should really mention the mandatory insurance you have to purchase online. The prices aren't really what is listed.

Don't use this facility. They gave us a rate of $170/mo with assurances that rates wouldn't go up. After 6 months they increased the rates to $199/mo. That's an increase of 17% in half a year. I don't actually care that much about $29/mo. I just don't like being lied to. When I initially signed up I noticed another reviewer had posted the same experience. This appears to be common practice for them. Why do they have such a high rating then? Because they tell their customers that they're having a company competition for the highest rating and ask them to give 5 star reviews. In fact, that was my initial review until they played their little game. There are plenty of other storage facilities. Find one that doesn't play games with their rates.

I came into this location to compare storage options and gather prices for my mother, who’s planning on moving and needed a unit. The employee that assisted me Blake S, was an absolute delight!! I haven’t experienced that great of customer service in such a long time... Blake was Very Polite, charismatic, attentive and Understanding of my mom’s situation. The office was also well maintained and clean! Although the pricing was a little high, I would definitely consider going with CubeSmart due to this interaction!

The rate was reasonable for the NE heights, and ease of renting and check in was a plus. Going forward, let's see what additional fees shake out, or not. *Update* still very convenient to get to, and the rate went up a month after we signed on (to $116/mo for 5x15). All in all, it accomplished the purpose of accessible,short term storage.

We rented a storage unit at the Montgomery CubeSmart facility because of the convenient location, but it turned out to be a great choice for several reasons. The facility was always clean, and the staff we interacted with were excellent -- helpful, competent, and very responsive. We also rented a Penske truck from this location, and were able to pick it up right at our storage locker. Tanya's assistance made what is usually a somewhat irritating rental experience a very pleasant one. We would highly recommend the Montgomery CubeSmart to anyone needing a storage facility.

She made sure the damage on the truck was written down so when I get to my destination they didn't think it was my fault. CubeSmart is an excellent place to store your items. I had some items that were taking up space in the garage so I rented one of the smaller units at the CubeSmart on Montgomery. The units are very clean, property is free from trash, gate always works (unlike another storage place I used) the property is brightly lit at night and the manager Lisa is amazing. She’s very friendly and was very patient and helpful with me while I was looking at the various units, providing suggestions on which size unit would’ve most appropriate. If you’re in need of a storage unit I highly recommend CubeSmart!!

If I could give zero stars I would. This location was broken into last night and My unit was one of the ones that was hit. Clearly this place isn’t as “safe and secure” and they make it out to be. On my unit they didn’t even have to break my lock to get in. They simply pried open the side of the door with some sort of tool. Not very safe in my opinion if someone can get in to a unit without breaking a lock. On top of that, when I went to “move out” because I refuse to keep my belongings where they’re not safe, Lisa, the manager was very crass. The level of customer service I received here was baffling. I wouldn’t even call it customer service to be honest. You shouldn’t treat your customers rude when they move out because your facility isn’t as safe as it claims to be. Would not suggest this storage company to my worst enemy.

Update- not 48hrs after I posted this review, I was contacted by the Senior Manager for the New Mexico CubeSmart branches. Not only was she apologetic about my negative customer service experience, she was willing to do anything that she was able to resolve my grievance. Between the prompt response and the obvious concern that she had for my customer service experience, I have completely changed my opinion of Cube Smart as a company. I wish all corporations were as concerned about their customer service as Cube Smart seems to be. I now understand that my negative experience was due to the particular employee that I dealt with, not Cube Smart as a whole. Thank you Cube Smart for being so prompt and willing to address my concerns in order to keep me as a customer. Bravo Use anywhere but Cube Smart. I recently had a family emergency and as a result of this I was not able to pay my bill for 1 month. 30 days. Not only was I charged 2 separate late fees during that 30 days, when I reached day 31 I was charged $110 more as an "auction preperation fee" The gentleman who called to inform me of the litany of fees I was being charged was not willing to even discuss working with me. This is what I get for going through a big chain company and just assuming I would be dealt with decently. I have had a few different storage units over the years at a few different places and I have never been treated more like I didn't matter. I'm just another idiot who they can take advantage of.

Fast, efficient check-in. Reserved unit on web, got a call a few minutes later, went to facility, and rented unit all within a half hour. Manager Lisa Pribble was pleasant and efficient. Couldn't have asked for faster or better service.

Since I've now received 3 emails asking for a review; here it is. This entire experience was terrible. These people are pushy and the website doesn't include all the miscellaneous fees they will add on to the price. When you ask about it you will be told you are wrong. Lisa is rude and did not want to take my Amex. She even pretended it didn't work until she realized I would not give her a different card. I signed up but will be writing corporate for a refund. These people don't deserve my money with front line employees acting like that.

Love the people who work here .... Lisa is so sweet and works around my pay periods from work (I don't get paid the same days as everyone else) and she is also never upset when I'm a few days late.

One of the contributing factors and the reason I choose CubeSmart, was that the office was open on Saturday. It was very difficult for me to get to an office during the week to check storage companies out. Once I arrived the manager was friendly and very helpful. The facility clean, in good condition and seemingly well organized. My possessions were in the facility for about 6 weeks. When I eventually moved out and unpacked everything was as it was when I stored it. The unit was easy to access and Lisa Pribble was amazingly friendly and helpful. Amazed she knew my name every time AND the unit #!! I would definitely recommend the facility to any one looking for short or long term storage.

I discovered CubeSmart online as I was looking for a storage unit that was safe, secure, and accessible as I needed it. So I reserved a unit and then went to take a look to see if this would work for me. Even though this unit was clear across town from my residence, I chose to rent this unit for all the above reasons. But there is something else that is very important to me as a customer to any business and that is customer services. I was very impressed with how I was treated from the time I walked in the door. Friendly, respectful, knowledgeable are some of the qualities of the person that assisted me. Thank you so much. It has been a stressful time as I am preparing to move to another state.

Very friendly, very much focused on helping you with your needs. Professional approach to storage, with lots of info to help you make the right decision. And, if you should get in a bind (which is to say you need something right then, right now) they have an assortment of packing and storage supplies available for sale ($$) in the office.

Once again rates increased, roughly 10%! It would appear that Cubesmart buisness model is to push a rate increase yearly as much as the market will tolerate. There is no customer loyalty, no senior discount, no Veterans discount. I would recommend supporting a mom and pop storage facility unless your are a glutton for yearly rate increases.

From the moment I walked into the office, Elizabeth was very positive, friendly, and upbeat. She knows the business well and gave me all the details quickly and concisely. I viewed the unit and finished all the paperwork in 15 minutes. A very positive experience. The only negative was having to buy the mandatory monthly insurance.

The facility is very clean and the staff is wonderful. When I showed up to do the paper work they knew me by name even though the reservation was made weeks before! There is a true sense of customer service here!!

I am very happy with the customer service received at CubeSmart. My car broke down on moving day which was very stressful. The ladies at the 2001 Girard location in Albuquerque offered to bring the company moving truck closer to the Montgomery CubeSmart to save me time and money on the movers. These ladies were so helpful in a time of need. They went above and beyond my customer service expectations!

The service? Quick and friendly! The place? Super clean and well lit. You just get the gut feeling as soon as you walk on the property that its a well run place. Oh, and did I mention they SPANKED the competition rental rates just up the street by 16% for the exact same size space!!! You've got my business!

If I ever need storage again, I know right where I would get it. The storage unit and property were both maintained thoroughly and clean. I felt that the height of their units is a definitive advantage in storage, and that the property was easy to access and had good hours available to do so. I really liked the staff also, Lisa frequently let me run in a minute before closing to pay my bill, and remembered my name and storage unit even though I was only there once a month. I was very fond of the grace period to pay too. I am really impressed with this company and have referred many people. Anyone who comes to Cubemsmart should expect quality service and security.

CubeSmart has been wonderful to work with and I don't know what I would of done without them. We have been working with Lisa and Nickey for almost 3 years now and they provide a great service by receiving and shipping off our packages. BAD BUSINESS! I really recommend avoiding this place. After keeping my stuff in storage there for over a year, the lady called me one day saying I was late, but I could pay on Monday. So I went ahead and called her on Monday, and she REFUSED my payment and STOLE all of my stuff. Do not trust them. THIS IS HOW BIG COMPANIES TREAT THE 99%!!!!
