Been using this facility for over three years and I haven’t really had much of an issue. All of the staff had been pretty fair and helpful. Although my rent had gone up the current staff worked with me to figure out the best solution. Chris was great over the phone and in person. The facility is clean and safe from what I have seen and experienced.

Lights out in the storage unit , good luck finding staff , and the prices keep going up up up , while the service goes down down down , and I swear there are at least 3 persons living in units at this location ..I went to my unit a little before closing and I heard the game on , clear as day !! Long and short not the best location, join and after month 6, you'll jump 30 to 40 dollars each and every 6mths , I'm almost at 500 a month now . Consider yourself informed !!

This place has changed since the management changed. These new people take the close parking spots meant for the customers. They also speak to you, and treat you like you don’t know what you’re doing, literally questioning things they tell you to do! They don’t make things convenient like the last people did, and their attitudes are off putting. I miss the old management so much. They were fantastic and personable. As for the unit, I open the door, and of course there are bugs. I just downgraded my unit, knowing that in a few months, they will jack up the price (every 3 or so months a 5-10 dollar increase) and I’ll be paying the same as the old unit. But what can you do. Overall I like cubesmart. I just miss the compassion that used to be there.

I used to use storage around this area every year for 10 more years, This storage looks butiful, But it is the most disappointing one. Its not good for Business, employee are not friendly for coutomers. I rent two big unites, stuff just moving in one week, and I have to escape from here and lost my big money.

Slowly liking this place less and less. Started with a great deal, good location and prime 1st floor walkup. They clearly have an issue with moisture, with Damprid bags hanging all over the 1st floor. I've noticed some of the wood furniture I am storing has mold in spots. Boxes seem dry, so it's probably excessively moist air breeding mold. Great. They've also increased our rent over $75 (2 separate increases) in the 14 months we've been there. They know they have us hostage basically. If it weren't a hassle to switch facilities, we'd be out of there.

Mean nasty man, raised price after a few months. Corporate does care either. I forgot. I didn't get one month free as promised (see west review) I think this place should be investigated, save your money!! They want me to contact them but I think I can't trust them at all!! BEWARE! Ramses just scammed us at the Bethpage NY location. We reserved a unit online planning to stay for 6 months, with first month free. We brought our own proof of renter's insurance with a clause that explicitly says our insurance policy covers storage rental units . Ramses said he only accepts homeowners insurance. Then he charged us $247 for the first month, plus $12 for the insurance he sells, plus an administrative fee of $25 (we expected the administrative fee.) $277 total. We asked why we didnt get the first month free. He said our first month was over. (His words were, "you are past your first month") We had only walked in the door 20 minutes ago and took a tour. When was this first month expired? Anyway, we left and called the main Cubesmart customer service line. They are having the district manager, Shai, get back to us. Let's see what Shai says. If it's our mistake, I'll remove the one star.

I was impressed not only with the cleanliness of the building and superb security, but also with the above-and-beyond customer service. The manager greeted me, took the time to show me several units and patiently answered all my questions. He explained all the pricing details and was very transparent about all the costs involved, which was not the case with other facilities I visited. Everyone there was warm and welcoming, and I was overall very impressed with the place. It's a lovely facility!

Was 5 stars, now it's 1 star. Jay and Gil haven't been there for a couple years. Place went downhill after they left. My rent increased from $385 to $687, thats even after moving to a new unit under my bros name, and they said it was still going up. The employees came and went over the 2 years. The guy and girl who work there now aren't too bad. She's extremely friendly and has a brain but he's definitely lazy and didn't know much when he helped me out one day. I think he would've been new at that time. The management definitely treats the employees like trash. Definitely. Best people to ask are the employees. The concrete is spalling everywhere outside. Literally the last day I left on 3/25 ... 8 NCPD cop cars and detectives reviewing security footage of a break in, cut lock, theft with employees and another customer. Sounded like the inside was accessed after hours. Below is my old review. Amazing how the place took a dive. 5 stars but here are the pros and cons... THIS PLACE IS WORTH IT The best storage place I've ever used... Jay and Gil are really helpful getting started and patient answering my questions. Very accommodating, friendly, excellent customer service. The facility is VERY clean compared to other newer places in the area. The AC was cold all summer, doesn't feel like a dungeon. Restrooms are clean. Only complaints are that a pallet doesn't fit through either of the entrances inside. Maybe the sliding door can be opened manually all the way, but the office was closed when I tried to move a pallet sized cart inside. The lights shut off inside after 10 or 20 minutes and the motion sensor is down the hall about 30 feet from my unit. Kind of annoying. My worst complaint... NO CELL SERVICE INSIDE ON 2ND FLOOR

First time needing a storage space, everyone there is so nice and helpful, clean facility, they made sure we weren't overspending on a unit too large for our needs. Overall a great experience and I'm glad we chose CubeSmart. We wanted to save a little bit of money so went with a 2nd floor unit. Another renter was moving their stuff out. We had to go back and forth a bit to chose a unit and then secure it all while the other renter was going back and forth. The elevator was so quick it wasn't a problem at all. Edited to add- here we are at move out and I'm still thrilled. Jason saw my husband and I moving things out yesterday (Sunday) and asked if we would be moving out that day. We weren't sure. He said it wasn't a problem and just to leave him a note if we finished and the office was closed, he confirmed our unit number as we chatted in the hall. We ended up finishing and I forgot paper so I figured I'd call this morning. Just as I'm going to sit and get on my morning tasks I see an email confirming our move out! I didn't have to call and Jason remembered our unit number and followed up with out me checking. Great service. I HIGHLY recommend CubeSmart but especially the Bethpage location. Service like that is what creates loyalty and recommendations.

It is the first time using a storage unit. I had many issues with my moving process and furniture that could not fit in the basement of the new house. The Cube Smart location is a fairly new building and is spotless. This place is so well maintained it is impressive. On top of that when moving in the space I rented which was huge wasn't big enough and we needed additional space. The office was able to rent my another space in the near vicinity to the first. This made loading easier on the moving company and ultimately my pocket.

My wife, Angela, and I worked Gil to set up our storage unit. He was super helpful and patient as we went back and forth about our needs/expectations with getting a storage unit. The actual facility is super clean and there are plenty of carts available for use. Also, lots of hand sanitizer available near entrances.

From the moment we walked in I was impressed with the facility and especially with Gil (the manager). I was unsure of what I needed and changed my mind a couple of times about room size and location. Gil responded with patience and went out of his way to ensure that I was happy with my choice. He had to follow up with me several times (as did Jason, another superstar!) and always made time to answer my questions in a courteous, professional way. Gil is a great example of customer service done right.

Most easiest and pleasant staff i met in any storage facilities, i looked in past week. Very nice , friendly and professional . Gil was helpful and great in choosing and booking the space, Whole storage unit is clean and accommodating . it is like looking for new house for rent for long or short term, you would like to feel welcome and safe with your personal belongings. And Gil made it happened from first minute i walked into the place all the way till signing the lease. Thank you very much. Great experience!!!!

I got an indoor unit. The place is new and clean. Well lit. GREAT air temps. GREAT price for my unit. Clean bathrooms on every floor. Carts at both ends of the building. Gil and Jason are an amazing team, playing off of each other and making customers laugh. I've found no better customer service anywhere. The whole experience was smooth and easy and our stuff is now safely stored away.
