This was my first visit to a CubeSmart storage facility. I visited the location at 2990 Cropsey Ave, in Brooklyn, New York. What I can say and would like to share is that this was an amazing, experience right from the beginning straight through to the end. As many know, when a person is moving it can be a very overwhelming time in one's life. What I would like to say is Thank Goodness for Nanette! She was unbelievably amazing! I have never been to a CubeSmart before and I am so glad that I decided to come here and to this location. Upon entering the facility I was greeted by Nanette with a hello, how are you, how I can help you? All nice to hear, anytime. I explained to her that I was moving, needed a storage unit and that this was my first time ever visiting a storage facility. I can't say it enough, Nanette was great! She explained the available sizes of the units, she gave me all of the varying costs and information of the units. She took me on a tour to see the three different sized units that I was interested in. I took photos of the units and then decided which would be best for my needs. Nanette answered all of my questions with patience and a smile. Even the same questions that I was asking over and over again. Nanette is/was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and patient with me. She is a true professional and provided an exceptional experience for me at a time when I need a little kindness in my life. I am so glad that I came here on the day that I did (Aug. 14, 2023). Nanette, thank you again for everything! Start off with a nice enticing price and then they raise it every 6 months. I stuck with them because they were really close. First of all let me begin by saying this place is top notch. I had my stuff there for about 2 years I believe. The customer service is amazing. You are treated with full respect from the time you enter the door. I felt the same warmth welcome from the time I signed up for a space to the time I moved my stuff out the storage. Nanette Claiborne and Lilia literally will welcome you with open hands. It doesn’t matter where I move to in NY; If I need a storage for anything, I will drive all the way back to Brooklyn to secure a space with them. It is just literally difficult now a days to get top notch customer service experience and respect. And they have it without wavering so I will go back there no matter how long I have to drive. I couldn't scan a QR code on my phone so I said I'd make a google review, a bit late. Anyways place is relatively clean, I have a nice 5x5' for 40 bucks. Went Thursday afternoon to try and get a large storage room. Met With Lilia who was working at the time. She helped me figure out the best size for all my stuff and gave me an AMAZING deal! The women who assisted me at the cube Site (next to Home Depot in Coney island) were very helpful and answered all of my questions very clealy & professionally. They made the whole process a positive one. I was able to register, take the tour of to my assigned storage spot, drop off my material, lock up & return to my vehicle all in a little less than one hour.

Hours are decent but could be a little more flexible. The payment system is terrible, and needs to be fixed and updated. I had issues every month trying to make a payment online. They charge you to make the payment online and when it doesn't work charge even more to make the payment through the telephone system. I gave it three stars because if you're able to get in touch with the office directly they would take payment for you with no fees. This was a bit of a hassle every month. It was customer service friendly however, I was not always comfortable doing that because I didn't always get the same rep.for payment and the threat is always there for possible credit card fraud.

This is a nice clean location. I got a good deal online and reserved a 5x5 unit. Got a callback to schedule an appointment to check out the available units in that size. Nanette, the location manager, was super helpful. She gave me a quick tour of the location, showed me my locker that I reserved, and walked me through the signup process. While the facility is quite well maintained I will say it wasn't a great experience in the end, so that is what I must address. I had a unit here for three years, and in those three or four years my rental fee went up $100 per month for the same unit. I went to clear it out today, and because my payment was due on the 15th they charged me $17.30 for the day. No consideration that it is difficult to get there during the quarantine, no flexibility whatever. I work in education and I am working daily. It was 2 in the afternoon. Nope not any leaway, pay or we do not release you from you contract, and it was 1/10 not 1/30 of my monthly charge. I understand it is a business, but most places are working with their customers to help some. Oh well, I am done with them.

I have been in this storage for over 12 years for my job and the Daria Briggs as well as Nanette Claiborne are always one of the friendliest and helpful people willing to help out any way they can and never making me wait. 5 Stars aren't enough... ????? The ladies at the 2990 Cropsey Ave location were patient, helpful, & so very, very sweet. To say that Nanette went above & beyond would be a HUMONGOUS understatement, to be honest. They offer you Keurig coffee & tea. They have vending machines for snacks AND drinks, whereas the Public Storage we moved from in the Bronx {on Gerard Ave.} didn't even have soap or toilet paper in their LOCKED bathrooms ?? The comparison between the two are at opposite ends of the spectrum.. And when you've spent 3+ stressful days moving 2 bedrooms worth of furniture, plus an entire apartment full of items & almost 30 heavy duty bags full of clothes, 2 hrs driving each way, those little amenities make you feel like a Superstar... Especially, when they greet you by name when you walk in. They show that they ACTIVELY CARE to know their tenants. I know these details may not SEEM important, but the ambiance, good vibes, & spirit Nanette, Lilia, & Daria embody, made my husband & I feel like we were welcome & wanted there, as opposed to feeling like we were bothering them {like over at the last storage place} We really appreciate being appreciated. Oh, & the prices are fair. We have a 10 x 10 unit & it costs us less than the 7 x10 we had at the other place.. Plus, we love the ability to get to our unit at 6:30am, if we wanted to or leave before 9pm, if we needed to. Definitely, love this place ??

We stored our furniture during our relocation to New Jersey. The staff was very accommodating and professional, especially Nanette. She made sure we were well taken care of from the start and upto our move-out today. She had seen us emptying our unit and came up to us with bottled water for the 2 hour journey. Very friendly staff!!! I never used storages before. But now I will with the great pleasure. Came here from the place on bay Parkway (because the staff over there were lazy, didn't explain anything, didn't try to open the door just to make you nervice). I am just guessing, why the owner doesn't care about what the employees are doing during the day, and how they are dealing with custimers. OK. Here it is very clean, everything is easy, the lady on the front desk Crystal is smiling and explaining everything from top to bottom. I took 10 x 10 room. Really spacious! Before I get there I called the customer service and they gave me 1 month for free. Also I would like to mention that besides the monthly price for storage you need to pay a minimum of 12 per month for insurance (which is rediculous, cos you can't refuse) and 25 initiation fee. The place have huge dolly and it is free to use. Parking is also good. 5 stars guys! Don't hesitate to use this company.

I am writing a review based on the outstanding service I received from Ms. Nanette Claiborne. I am so impressed and satisfied with the exemplary level of customer service we received today. She made renting our unit effortless, fun, pleasant, and considered all aspects of our request. We had visited a different storage unit at a different facility prior to arriving at Cube Smart and we were treated very poorly by the staff there. However, Nanette made us feel welcome, valued and respected. She immediately attained our business and trust! She is a breath of fresh air and represents the business with class, dignity, knowledge, expertise and lends a friendly, human component which is so hard to find these days. We will be happy to refer friends and family to this self storage due to the high level of quality care she provided! :)

This is our 3rd unit at this facility. The staff is professional and helpful. Anthony always helps us with any issues. pleasure to work with. the only issue we have is that the facility does not allow for garbage disposal - we rent as an organization and receive a lot of shipments to the facility. WHAT are we supposed to do with shipping boxes etc ?! there is no sanitation stations where we can drop off the discarded items, how can a storage place not have a disposal option?! this needs to be worked out. highly inconvenient.

Great service and very good experience. I reserved a space online, and they followed up with me the very next day to get everything in order. When I went to the storage to take possession of my locker I have been helped by Mr. Anthony Barr, and he was very helpful, competent and professional. Prices are definitely among the most competitive and affordable in NY, and the space I've been provided is exactly what I was looking for. Strongly recommended. I must add, after several time I've visited the facility, that the personnel is always very nice, courteous and professional. The level of customer service provided here is truly above and beyond

First I would like to say the place it extremely clean. My husband and I went there without realizing we had reserved a unit that required a ladder. Right away Kamilah offered us a different unit that was on the ground...GREATLY appreciated. She then walked us to our unit to make sure we knew where it was. I have worked with other storage companies for my clients and they have never done that. I could go on but all in all... we could not be happier with this place and the service we received.

Ok so where to start, This is my first time writing a review ( literally) on any website. I visited Cubesmart self storage at 2990 Cropsey ave in Brooklyn ny. I’ve never been to this location before, upon entering the facility I was greeted right away by a very nice professional employee. Who was the manager ( Paul white) He was super helpful and patient, walked me around the building showed me multiple storage units. He gave his honest opinion on what size unit I should get for my personal needs. Wasn’t a Salesman didn’t come off pushy I felt comfortable and like I was and did get a good unit at a good price I highly recommend this Cubesmart location and again the manager Paul white. Anyone considering going to this location, you should it’s worth it. I gain nothing in anyway from writing this review It’s at my own free will. Manager Paul White gave the best tour and the best transaction experience- no pressure and laid out the options. He even was clear about the various policies on late fees, cancelling, and renewal. I am renting at the 2990 Cropsey Avenue location, and so far it has exceeded my expectations - from the maintenance of the facility to the helpful people who work there. The extremely professional staff are courteous, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make my experience as pleasant and cost effective as possible. I must mention in particular the two managers with whom I have dealt with - Paul White and Kamilah Thompson. I've used this storage facility for about 4 months or so and I even stored my queen mattress in it. I was pleasantly surprised when the mattress didn't catch bed bugs or mould or anything weird like that... The only problem this facility has is that it's so far off the city in Coney Island. Maybe a little in-roads would do wonders for the facility. There's nothing they can do about it now, I guess...

horrible place. your vehicle will end being the storage cube. We get there at 8:50 pm, we go upstairs and downstairs to drop stuff, at 9:00 pm elevator shuts off, so eventhough it allows you in the building you cannot finish putting your stuff away so now my car is the storage cube for my cousins place and customer service is the worst.
