I had prior experience with CubeSmart at different location. However, it wasn’t as pleasant as here at Cropsey Avenue. Tanesha is very sweet and knowledgeable. She’s acting quick making the registration process so nice and smooth. In and out in 10 mins (including showing the storage space and contract signing). The best!

Good place but: two entrances #2 and #3 to the interior are always blocked when a truck arrives and wants to unload goods, the space is occupied by regular vehicles and it is impossible to bring goods inside, they should prohibit parking near the entrance, this is a place only for loading or unloading. They should write that parking is not allowed(zebra). We have been talking to them about this for 2 years now, with no result. Many people complain about this problem They should paint a zebra crossing at the entrance so that no one parks there. I will change my review to 5 star when they fixed the problem.

My name is Nathan, and I have been renting a storage unit at CubeSmart located at 3068 Cropsey Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224 since February 2023. Today, I stopped by my unit to pick up some items. My storage was located on the third level, which wasn't very convenient, especially with some of my boxes being quite heavy. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the storage manager, Tanesha. She assisted me in moving my storage space to the first level, which has made things much easier for me and my family. Tanesha was not only professional and highly intelligent, but she was also incredibly helpful throughout this process. Additionally, her assistance will result in significant savings for me, for which I am very grateful. I sincerely hope that CubeSmart will have more employees like Tanesha. The people who work on site here are not the reason I'm leaving this review. They did what they could and don't want to lose their jobs. CubeSmart corporate has decided that they will not allow me to enter my locked unit to ONLY retrieve my birth certificate and Social Security card so I can apply for assistance, including the assistance that would pay their bill. They are instead forcing me to lose all my stuff when I could get assistance to pay the bill with those two documents. Policies don't spring up out of nowhere and if they wanted their bill paid they would let me get these documents. They'd rather be able to sell my stuff. Shame on the people who make these decisions.

My unit was robbed after 6 months of renting,it was open by key,I suppose it was done by insider,I hope they have surveillance cameras,but not sure,they don't take anything , only some credit cards passport SS card,which is easy to restore, unfortunately they have duplicate keys to units.be careful with this facility it is not safe,and could be burglarized at any time,plus rate is going up all the time,I probably start to look for different storage facility

The facility is easy to get to and there is always ample parking available. There is access to the units after office closing hours. The facility is clean and always staffed. The elevators were always both working for me and carts were always available. The manager, Kevin, always took the time to remind me if I had missed a payment, in order to keep me from incurring a late fee. The manager helped me find a different room when the rent on my first room became too high for me to manage. The rent on the new room was distant from the elevators, but in that way the rent remained fixed and did not increase, so I was able to manage it. Thank you CubeSmart

I like Cube smart but… I have been using CubeSmart over a year now and It was all good up until now: Today I closed my account and didn’t want them to take my garbage out or charge me for it, and I took it out myself, came to realize they won’t let dump out there. In addition to that An old guy came talking like he is the boss and ordered me to take the garbage out or they charge me fee over $20. Say what??????? Well! You are charging your costumers tons of money. Get a dump Box put it there to use for costumers

I have two storage units at cubesmart in the beginning it was affordable but now it seems like im paying $200 for each unit the same size units when I wanted an upgrade basically was going to pay $500 and some change for both so my only option is to get rid of one to reduce costs otherwise the place is private clean n has a bsthrm in site n parking

I only gave a one star, because there is no option for zero stars. If you value your money do not use this location, they're money hungry, they'll call you when your bill is due, but not to clarify grace periods until they're already up, I pay my cube smart every month. Recently, I ran into some difficulties because my boss is Jewish and some of my paydays get switched due to their different holidays. So, I may be a few days off, but nothing crazy. Well they just lost my business, I will be picking my things up and going across to the other cube smart. My advice is to do the same for anyone else.

I love the 14-hour access, the clean facilities, the code entry, the locks I can trust, and in general that all my possessions are safe and only I know exactly where. The customer service from the desk attendants is ideal--all explained clearly, and every consideration explained. Even the elevators are great. Also, my small second-story cubes can handle A LOT of weight, as the structure is designed to do so.

It was great having an affordable decent storage. I started paying $45 for a 5x5 in December 2020. Now with all the increases Im paying $118 that’s more than double in less than 2 years. They don’t allow u to upgrade your storage and get internet rate. If u want to upgrade u need to pay market rate which is super expensive. At the time It was over $220 for a 10x10. Now it’s over $300. It was cheaper for me to just tell me girlfriend to rent another 5x5 in her name since they would honor the internet price of $79. We now have two 5x5 Units. Surprisingly my girlfriend pays less for her unit than me. Their marketing is just to get u in the door and raise your rates. This place is great maybe for short term definitely not long term. It’s cheaper for me to buy a new $500 trek bike each year than keep it in this storage They also force you to get insurance through them so I have another $30 insurance expenses for both units

Clean, easy to set up and use, very generous office hours to borrow a cart, friendly people, and rarely super busy so getting close parking and elevator space is easy. April in particular was absolutely amazing helping me find a solution within my budget when I needed more storage space while in the middle of a really horrible move. If it weren't for the fact I moved an hour away I'd keep a storage space there.

This company forces you to pay for insurance that you canot file claims on. My items were stolen out my storage unit in this building. Nobody has no answers and their insurance company is a scam. This storage location is great to access from the highway. The people at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. Kevin and all of the people in the front office have always been very helpful with all my storage needs and questions. I hope Cubesmart holds on to Kevin and the other two men in the front office because they are all professional and truly make you feel welcomed and at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for safe secure clean location.

Not recommended. Visited twice, avoid this location. Elevator had issues both times. Not climate controlled, at all. Some quite lazy personnel, not interested on customer's expectations. Carpeted aisles looking filthy, maybe never cleaned, noticeable dusty air. Maybe not all Cubesmart spots are that bad but for me the Cropsey Ave one would be conveniently well located. Only plus is longer hours compared to other companies, 7am/9pm. I would say... poor management is quite characteristic of most larger businesses all over NYC. Thank you.

Horrible customer service, and very expensive. Tried cancelling my locker room, but they did not cancell because they claimed I had stuff inside which I did not. Now I owe over 150 dollars for a 5x7.5 locker so freaking expensive, I do not recommend this company at all

overall experience is great! new facility, clean, and neat. no pests or insects. lockers are still dusty from construction, which is not a bad thing, but rather the sign of brand new establishment. only thing that got on my nerves is van rental! you need to have your own insurance in order to rent (it’s $10 for 4 hours) CubeSmart’s van. I don’t own any vehicle at all, and don’t feel like renting one. CubeSmart’s van is useless in my case.

The facility is good, clean and well thought. The only cons: nobody told me over the phone that insurance is required this is extra $12 to the monthly payment and another $12 for the lock if you rent a locker. Also there's administrative fee $25. Another problem I faced is the carts are locked and if you don't have a key to unlock or no one in the office to help, you have to turn back or carry everything on your shoulders. That is what I did. Next time I'll be smarter and ask for a cart lock key. Overall impression is good. Location is great. Price is competitive, personnel is very friendly, parking and a truck is available at the facility.

The staff person who first checked me in,Tanesha, for a mid-sized unit was wonderful. I had a unit with Public Storage on Rte I in Edison NJ and it was an absolute dump compared to this facility. Later I needed a small space, telephoned and again talked to Tanesha. She said that she would call back in a few minutes as she would go my existing unit and check for a small one as close as possible to the med-sized one. Five minutes or so later she called me and gave me a unit five feet away. I could not have asked for better service. I readily recommend this place.

No pressure ,no judgement. Just simple advice on what he though I should do. I highly recommend going to Namik when anyone goes to rent out a unit. Five stars just for this guy!

This company destroyed my life about 5 years ago. I was a couple of months behind while dealing with a divorce and they sold all of my belongings, including my personal items such as precious childrens momentos (sports awards, christening outfits, etc) clothing, photographs, and all of my furnishings including thomasville furniture. I lost everything and their attitude was very callous. When I asked about my personal items they could not be bothered providing a response as if they live for this because they auction off your things to make money. While I could live with the loss of the furniture, the personal items are irreplaceable. The way they handle this process should be illegal. Do not trust them.

So I went yesterday after I reserved my storage unit online. I got there around 6:30. I saw the guy was busy so I waited around. He was very friendly and even though it was a little past closing time he still helped me out. He was very patient with us. Helped us gained access and showed us as well. The service at CubeSmart always just gets better. The facilities are immaculately clean, and the staff is awesome and friendly. There was a dude named Kevin who was so helpful in viewing two size units to help me figure out which one would be most helpful for me. The location is also easily accessible right off of the Belt Parkway.
