Bad, really bad, it feels like a scam, I signed a lease for a space 5x5x8 and when I got there my space was smaller, the hight was 4' instead of 8'. I called them to see why I was assigned a different space from the one I signed the contract for, and they told me they needed to escalate the issue, they said they were going to call me back in less than 24 hours and didn't happen, I didn't got any solution, they just say if I wanted to keep the small space the 5x5x4 or they will Refound me the money back, which is not right, because my lease says something different and didn't get what I paid for.there was a girl who was there putting her stuff in a space close to the one I was assigned and she told me the same happened to her, so it looks like it's something they do regularly to attract costumers and then they change the conditions. Really disappointed

I was looking for a storage place that I can store miscellaneous things from my basement and drove past this bushwick location. I was going to keep driving but I figured to stop and check out the place and get a feel for what I’m looking for. As soon as I entered, I encountered Myles who was working behind the desk. Myles was very helpful, and very professional. I did not feel as if there was a sale being pushed onto me like a burden. Updated review: I left this review because I was asked to when visiting my unit for the first time, and so far the service had been great. That's why the facility has so many reviews - they kind of pressure you to leave one while they "finish setting up your account"; online they tell you the lock and key will be waiting for you in your unit, but when you get there it's already locked and you have to go talk to someone to get the key. However, I soon discovered the reason that Life Storage had the cheapest rate in the area for a unit this size - two months after renting my unit, after moving my belongings in, I got a postcard in the mail informing me that my rate would be increasing by almost double, effective immediately. I almost thought it was junk mail, and of course, they did not communicate this by phone or email. If you see a good deal on their site, don't plan on it sticking around, because it's a bait-and-switch. When I have some time to kill, I will be contacting the NY Division of Consumer Protection to find out if this is even legal. Original review: Super easy rental process, way cheaper than anyone else in the area. Check in was a breeze. Plenty of hand carts available and the facility is super clean. Climate control is on point. This is the spot!

I moved to the other side of Brooklyn but I’d still keep my things at this unit years later. The environment alone was so welcoming and clean!!! It was busy as people were getting Christmas decorations out of units and a cart was still readily accessible. Johnathan helped me rent another unit in the same facility in MINUTES, answered all of my questions with ease, and overall so friendly. I’ve visited other units in Flatbush but the service does not compare.

We live close to this location and there are other storage services in the area but we found Life Storage to be quick & helpful on customer service, AND their prices were way better! This is the best storage space in Brooklyn! Everyone is friendly, and very helpful! It’s clean and well kept with an indoor place to park your car. Access to bathrooms. At Cubesmart in bushwick bk during the hurricane, my storage unit flooded and cubesmart basically told me they can’t pay for anything molded or damaged. They never even told me my unit was flooded. So lifestorage is the best. Good luck if you use Cubesmart in bk down the street (flood zone) and they said they wouldn’t help even though my items were only damaged due to their negligence. They didn’t notify me my unit was filled with water. They mopped the halls and left it. Black mold. Clothes eaten up. If you’re there I’d transfer your stuff out before the next flood. Cubesmart literally traumatized me and lifestorage GAVE ME LIFE ?????????? also the assistant manager is awesome! He helped with a LOT! Thank you again!

Every couple of months they increase the price. A year ago I was paying a third of what I’m paying now for the same exact space. The workers are not helpful at all and I’ve been there and they will be on break for HOURS, nobody at the desk or able to help. Not to mention when I am organizing my unit then magically they pop up behind me like they’re scoping out what I have in my unit. Save your self the ASTRONOMICAL RENT and use one of he many other storage places around

Very disappointed with this place. Back in December I throw a box with a few items in the dumpster out back. One of the employees confronted me. A month later a 250.00$ dumpster fee was added to my account. When I called to get an explanation I was yet confronted by the same person over the phone. When I asked how they came up with 250.00 $ for the fee. I was told I knew what I did. Yet he did not have an explanation on the amount. In the rental agreement it does not state 250.00 so I wanted an explanation on to how a box would cause such a fee. I called a few time to try and get an explanation but the only thing they know how to say is “you know what you did” it’s my understanding that I hurt this staff members feelings and this his way of getting his revenge.

Our first experience with Life storage was seamless and so quick. The staff was so very nice and helpful, we weren’t sure about which size unit we needed, they were kind enough walk us through and show us the different units and that greatly helped us make a decision. They answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend them.

She explained everything to my husband & I, showed us multiple storage units, even waited while we debated on which unit we needed lol. She’s great. what initially caught my attention is how clean the facility appeared and how much room the garage bay had. i was able to reserve online, showed up with my loaded van. Jofet (sorry if i misspelled bud) was very knowledgeable and well mannered. helped with everything, customer service was off the charts. showed me a couple spaces and within 20-30 min i was out of there with my possessions already loaded into my new unit and off to my next errand. smooth, simple, CLEAN & friendly. all staff are friendly and well mannered. what more can you ask for in these troubling times? thank you again Jofet! ??????
