Closed my until last week of Feb w the manager the guy w an A. Got emails today saying how I missed my due date and threatened me w fees. The lock was off and the unit been done I live 45 min from the location and I could never access my unit that’s why I closed it so not sure why they wanna still charge me. I did not just move out and leave I spoke w the manager who waived a late fee from Feb and said just take my things and the acct will be closed

Please do your homework before using this facility. The loading zone limits the height of vehicles which prevented my movers from entering. The restrooms close with the office so if you’re doing a big move after office hours well I don’t know. Again trying to get assistance after office hours is near impossible. The 800 number is responsive but in two tries they were unsuccessful reaching the on call general manager. Would not recommend for large use.

The units are clean, and there are plenty of carts and signing up for one was easy. Our bill went up unexpectedly while we were renting. It may have been something in the contract, but it still caught us off guard. When closing the unit the store management was unresponsive to my phone calls. After a week of trying I was able to cancel through the chat on the Cube Smart website. Accessing the storage unit is inconvenient, it's on a highway with a divider. Ultimately our experience was ok, but we had a better experience with other storage unit providers.

Firstly, the place is well-maintained, which is a definite plus. However, I was disappointed to see my rates increase twice within just one year. This unexpected hike felt excessive and took away from my overall satisfaction with the service. Additionally, I experienced difficulty when trying to reach a representative at the location. I called for two consecutive days seeking information on how to downsize my unit, but unfortunately, my calls went unanswered. This lack of communication was frustrating and made the process more complicated than it needed to be. Overall, while the facility itself is clean and convenient, the significant price increase and poor customer service experience have left me feeling hesitant.

The people are nice enough but know that Cubesmarts raises their prices almost every 3 months so don't expect to know what it will cost you over the year. Also, Cubesmart corporate says they offer "nonprofit" discounts but it's left up to the individual location's owner/manager - this location does not offer a nonprofit discount. I had units with non cubsmart companies whose prices didn't change at all and they provided the nonprofit discount with no issue. This location is nice but I also had to pay extra to move out because of the height restriction of 11.5' which does not fit a full-size moving truck that is 15' high.

CubeSmart East Meadow is beautifully clean, bright, and well-managed by Adis, who gave exceptional customer service at all times. The price was fair and I loved being able to work on my laptop from the office waiting area while my movers dealt with getting my belongings in and out of the my units. I liked CubeSmart East Meadow and Adis so much I rented a second unit when decluttering my house for staging, in addition to a first unit used to store furniture from my grandma's house! Nice clean place with great people, but when it comes down to it, it’s about cost when you have to spend money on a storage unit. If you need a temporary storage unit for a short time, then it’s worth taking advantage of the cheap price Deals they have to get in, but this place is not cheap for long term storage. They draw you in with a good price as a new customer, but then continue to increase prices (at least 30% or more every 3-6 months) until they push you out. It feels like this is just their system for creating turnover. I don’t think I would ever trust them again.

I gave them 3 stars because when you first join, they are very nice and sweet and next thing they are roaming making rounds around your storage unit to see what is inside, they peek inside which is so disrespectful and disturbing. I took off another star because even after complaining they haven’t fixed the entrance area where the trolley slides down if not held so it is a major problem when putting you lock code and holding your cart in position to enter. These carts have moved and can hit a car if unfixed.

Priscilla and Amanda are both very nice. Priscilla showed us the unit and put it on hold until I was able to relocate my storage items. We did the paperwork together and then I moved in. This place is quite a bit more expensive than the previous place I was using. I'm paying more now and the unit is smaller. I made the switch because this place is climate controlled and much closer to my home and everything is so nice and new and clean. (I just wish it was a little less expensive!)

Extremely clean facility (basically brand new they opened in may.) They provide numerous carts to transport items to and from your storage unit and you can park in the indoor garage which is right next to the doors so if it’s raining or snowing you won’t have an issue moving your stuff. Also you need a pin to enter the facility and to use the elevators so people that do not have a unit can not get in. They offer discounts when you reserve your unit online so definitely take advantage of that. They have an app to keep track of your units and the people who work there are very nice and helpful. So happy this storage unit opened as it’s right up the road from where I am staying. Highly recommend!
