Although I had no problem with the storage itself the supervisor at the storage site was very abrupt when answering questions and I constantly felt as if I was being watched as I moved out of the storage unit. He came over one time to tell us we couldn’t put our items near the dumpster when we were carefully placing it on the ground in order to load the truck. He then again proceeded to tell us that we need to put the dolly back when we’re not using it but you could clearly see that it was still in use. When I first brought my things to be stored there 2 years ago I worked with a woman who was very pleasant and professional. I’ve been back twice after that and felt very uncomfortable when I shouldn’t being that I was a paying customer. Even when I closed out my account and said have a great day he didn’t even respond back. As he sat at the desk while the other employee worked with me. There were 3 guys that day: one had glasses who was very professional , one was dark skin who I saw occasionally and the man I am speaking about had a mustache and constantly walked around the premises. I only had a viewing to see if I was going to move forward, however even with no commitment Alan took the time to show me several units , when I originally was only interested in one. He had patience professionalism and answered ALL my questions. Just this experience alone was enough for me to move forward. The manager is not friendly and kindly. I requested the 2nd unit and took so long to get it and also put on condition to keep 1st unit for a month in order to get the promo rate. When I was there I couldn’t find any chart and had to looking through the whole building to find the chart and manager or staff are not willing to find it. They’d rather chatting with customers. Moreover on last summer the AC at 3rd floor wasn’t working and I had complained about this but no response. I personally won’t recommend anyone using this cubesmart storage unit which has poor services management and expensive rate rental.

Not happy They knew of a spill in the cube extto mine and did not notify me. I Was forced to move my stuff to a new cube. They want to charms an additional $5 per month I should get refunded for months they knew of spill and did not tell me.

I was charged in an expected charge that was not properly explain to me. I downsized my unit after only two weeks of having a large unit I decided I did not need that much space. I was charged a $30 something dollar fee then I was charged for the next month. The way it was explained to me was I was going to be saving money upfront but instead I ended up making the payment and left with less money. So if you want a clean space for just some extra storage not a bad place but be careful what you sign up for!

I made an appointment through the website and they called me to confirm. I stated what kind of lock I had and they said that would be no problem. When I arrived I was told I have to have insurance when the website neglects to show that in the pricing info (maybe in tiny print) and I was told that the lock I have will not work. I have to purchase one from them. (How convenient) The representative didn't seem to care that I was there or not so I decided to leave. I have used Cubesmart in the past at a different location with no issues but now I'll just go elsewhere. I hate when companies play games and leave out information or tell you one thing and it's incorrect. If they would have waived the price of the lock I would have signed up for a year but for me it's the principle not the measly few bucks..

I initially registered for the storage over the phone but when I got into the storage there was a much better deal. The young lady slowed me to switch it with ease after calculating I’d save more. I can’t remember her name but she was phenomenal. She also showed us the storage units that were available, and asked what we needed it for to assure we were reserving the best fit. The unit itself is clean, weather stabilized. They have carts available to carry your items from car to storage unit, they could add more carts it’s only about 4/5 but it does not seem to get really crowded. They also have cameras so I feel safe going alone. They do close around 11, which I didn’t know but that was mine own error for not reading fully. You can purchase your own lock or one from them it was about $10/$15. Great storage unit, ease of access, safe and reliable. I’ve had it for about 4 months, no complaints this far.

I signed a contract and agreed to a price. It sounded like a great deal because it was the lowest price. When I got there the girl was lovely and kind. I automatically paid my bill every month early so as not to get a late fee. THEN…4 months later…WITHOUT warning there is a late fee and voicemail while I’m at work telling me that I didn’t pay my storage fee and that I’m being charged a late fee!!! I check my banking records and I paid my storage fees. Nothing is late by contact. I later found out that they randomly increased my storage fees by a lot WITHOUT warning or MY CONSENT! This happened on the 4th month!!! The nasty man on the phone said he was in his right to do this without warning or my consent!!! WARNING this place is untrustworthy and a scam!!! I took my stuff right out of there!!!!

I was initially extremely pleased with this place but prices have continued to rise and there is now a mildew odor issue, went to office manager to discuss and he swore you can’t smell a thing but all my winter belongings smell horrible. The car literally stunk the minute I opened the door after placing the items inside, I am not the only one that has noticed this after asking others on my floor. The sad part is I’ve had my unit for years and truly never had this issue during the previous season changes when I would swap my belongings in and out, it’s only a recent issue but less than pleased is a understatement with the GM’s unhelpful response and being “unable to see it” while showing a general lack of care overall

I had a lot of questions and had no idea what I wanted or needed & she patiently guided me to a perfect solution and made me feel comfortable about my decision. She made sure all of my safety concerns were met & I knew exactly where the exits were & where to park my car. She helped me find the right size for the right price and signed me up quickly and easily. I had to call a few times to change things around & I always had a pleasant experience on the phone. The place is new & clean & has many safety precautions. Place is squeaky clean ?? , brand spankin new & the manager Nikki got me a unit on the 1st floor making it as convenient as possible to get all my equipment delivered! She gave me an appointment the same day I reserved it so I was able to come by & see my storage space in person. It’s worth the drive from Queens & you can’t beat the prices anywhere else!
