Where to start: this is a terrible company. When I moved in I was told that while the rate might go up, I would always have a discount. Within two months the rate went up and the discount was removed. When their credit card system couldn’t take payments for days, I was charged a late fee. When I called to discuss these issues, the staff hung up on me. Needless to say, I have emptied my unit.

The service has been pretty good up until I noticed and my grandmothers art piece was missing during my move out. At first I was told that they are not liable because after the move out I did not put the lock back on afterwards. Then they claimed they created an incident report but did not take a picture of my unit nor did they give me a copy of the incident report. Be very careful about valuables and document everything with pictures and lists

CubeSmart at 308 Dyckman Street in Upper Manhattan is an outstanding location if you are looking for a storage facility. My husband and I moved to this site from another storage company and can't be more pleased. The staff, Nohely and Karla are friendly, helpful and enjoy their jobs and always have a smile. The facility is immaculate. The restrooms are as clean or cleaner than those in a hospital. I recommend CubeSmart on Dyckman street to anyone looking for a storage facility.

Just moved in over the weekend. Clean, fresh new facilities that are easy to access from the loading area. Super friendly and helpful staff. My only two gripes is that as of my move in date, this store doesn’t have dollies with upright bars (for mattresses, tvs, things likely to fall over.) Moving in a mattress by myself was a nightmare. They’re also very strict on setting your lease period on the day of the move in. I asked for it to be 1st of the month though I moved in a few days prior, but they refused. So lining up another move between this unit and the end of my apartment lease is going to be unnecessarily inconvenient.

They are ok. They accept HRA, but prepare to deal with staff who don’t care if the check is late, they WILL lock you out of your unit even if they have proof of checks being on the way/delayed. The staff and company is quite robotic and heartless. I will say, it is clean and safe. Just stay on top of your payments.
