Perfectly smooth initial transaction with Fred who was both knowledgeable & friendly, he would get 5 stars if our experience ended there. Unfortunately the following day we needed to add a second unit since we filled up our first one and we did not share the same positive experience with Jeff. Jeff phoned us to let us know they would not be able to offer me (or anybody in our family for that matter) the same promotion since it was only one promotion PER FAMILY! I asked him to please show me the fine print where this is stated to which he replied “it’s at the manager’s discretion”. Additionally, the unit price was raised $30 since we were requesting a unit with 1 foot higher ceilings, but we did not have to pay the additional fee for the first unit that came with the higher ceilings. Felt like we were scammed and it was incredibly disappointing, so unfortunately can not recommend. If we hadn’t already filled up our first unit, we would have gone somewhere else.

The CubeSmart location I dealt with in Deer Park New York is super clean, the guys that run the office are great! The only reason I left that CubeSmart location is because after 6 months they had a 25% rate increase on both of my units that I had there. Because of that rate increase I figured I'd just check out other storage places which wound up being great for me I found a bigger unit right down the block for much less. I personally would have never left CubeSmart if they didn't have the rate increase. It befuddles me how business do not realize that it is cheaper to keep a good customer then to attract a new one?

Do not use this storage! I had a unit for a little over a year and so many of my items were covered in mold and completely destroyed . When I brought it up to the attendant he said it was my fault for not “airing it out enough”. I visited my unit pretty frequently so it was opened often and I had to discard so many precious things because it was wet or moldy. Horrible experience the rent increased almost 200$ in one year just for my items to be destroyed by mold. There was also so much rat feces they had a rat pack thrown into the uni trying to deter them. It is so upsetting to have to throw things away that I trusted would be ok in this storage.

Fred is great ! When my mother & I went there he explained everything clearly, was very helpful and made the process very smooth. I ran into major problems right from the start. I was sold a unit online and it wasn’t what I needed so I went to a different location and the customer service was remarkable. Honestly the only reason I stayed was because of the customer service at the north Babylon location. Jason and Fred were so fantastic with fixing my problems and making the experience so worth it. Fred is so informative and he did everything possible to rectify my issue. If it wasnt for him I probably would’ve found a different place to store. I was in a time crunch and he did everything possible to help me he really went above and beyond. Good customer service is so hard to find now a days and why were fantastic.

Last weekend I went into cubesmart in a "not so great mood," looking for assistance in choosing a unit. I was greeted with a friendly "hello" from 'Jeff Hansen'. He gave me honest and helpful suggestions for picking the right unit. When I finally chose the unit he told me I was going to love it, and I did! It was perfect! ?? I met with manager Jeff Hansen who was friendly, thorough, and most helpful. He explained everything and showed me the unit I am renting. The paperwork process was easy and everything was explained. Jeff demonstrates the keypad to enter the property. The grounds and storage unit was clean.

I had a storage unit with this company for over two years. The staff at this location was always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would have to say Fred is my favorite go to person whenever I have a question/problem. He is very kind, helpful and knows everything about cubesmart. I would definitely recommend this location.

I've bin dealing with the same 2 guys now for 2 yrs and there continued customer service with me paying my bill every month they get 5 stars from me units clean no problems ever even when the rent goes up there service makes it worth it thnx your guy rock oh and the 1 guy even helped me get my keys out of my car lol I locked my keys in the car and left it running and the man was nice enough to help me once again thnx

Jeff and Fred were very helpful. I had to visit the unit multiple times, sometimes after 7pm, over the course of a year and a half to take things out or put other things in and place was always clean and motion lights were the best. Suggest one should keep a cart inside unit since I couldn't always find the one that the place supposedly keeps avail for moving items. Never found one stored by elevators.

Needed to get a storage space quickly and easily. The team at CubeSmart in North Babylon made the process exactly what I needed, quick and easy. I was fully informed of all details without having to ask questions, I was not pressured to buy moving and storage items I did not need and their email reminders kept me on schedule during a time when keeping an eye on my schedule was chaotic. If you are looking for storage facilities, the North Babylon CubeSmart team should be your first call.

My experience with this company is HORRIBLE! Their customer service is deplorable, every single person I encountered had an attitude & that's IF they choose to answer their phones or respond. Their hours of operation are inconvenient anybody who works late. Nothing compared to 24 hour spots and they tack on undisclosed fees at their leisure. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AUTOMATED PAYEMENTS. It's all a scam!!! I just paid almost $500 just so I would be "allowed" to remove my stuff from the unit & go elsewhere. I will never recommend anybody to use them.

Very clean and super friendly and respectful staff, especially Fred the general manager. He was a great help and takes pride in what he does. HUGE difference from the last storage place I used. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was because there is no elevator and my unit is on the 2nd floor. Either way the staff and cleanliness more than makes up for it. Thanks guys.

Let me first start off by saying Fred the general manager is by far the best. Went way out of his way to help us. We wound up being delayed on our house closing needed a storage unit quickly. Beyond helpful with what size we needed and a great deal couldn’t be happier. Storage units and property extremely clean. We actually went back for another unit being we don’t know how to pack again Fred right away remembered us asked how move was going. Then got us in a second unit within minutes. Thank you Fred for all your help it is greatly appreciated. If anyone needs a storage unit go see Fred at cubesmart self storage I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The staff at cube smart was extreamly professional and helpful. Not only did they have the exact storage unit i wanted but they had it available the day i was looking, which is what i needed! Outstanding service from Jeff My wife and I entered the North Babylon, NY location on Bayshore Road and needed to rent a storage unit. Upon entry an associate by the name of Jeff immediately welcomed us warmly and proceeded to professionally assist us through the process of renting a space. He walked us through the process and gladly showed us the unit and answered every question we had. Jeff simplified the whole experience and made us feel confident that we chose the correct company for our storage needs. After we finished up and shook hands, my wife and I left the front office thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. My wife is a customer service/ assistant store manager in a retail business with over 100 employees under her. She is professionally trained to know when good customer service is given and she was impressed with Jeff. A+ rating on the first day, and we look forward to utilizing our very clean storage space.

Living in the area for more than 15 years I knew what this facility was like! Now with the new look and better customer service with Matt & Fred I am very pleased! My comfort with this storage facility is great and the warm welcome from them makes you want to stay and chat for hours. They are very professional and courteous. I've been in other places and the staff were not joyful but this cubeSmart is friendly clean and the people knows what the WWF use to be back in the day! That works for me and this place .

Friendly staff. I chose this place because I got more space for less money. No brainer. They offer a military discount and they have great gate hours (6am-10pm) daily. They also offer autopay which is so convenient.

I had the privilege of dealing with Matt and Fred who were more than helpful. They were very honest and I never felt as if I was being pressured to "upgrade" and lease a larger than necessary unit. Although it was close to closing time (literally within minutes) they didn't mind and I never felt rushed- Matt even walked and showed me two different units located in two different buildings so that I am aware of the size and location etc.. Regarding the unit- very satisfied and it felt as if I had to enter past business hours it would be safe and my stored items are definitely secured due to lighting/cameras etc... Highly recommend this location.

We have lived in a few different states and had need of storage in each, this storage facility is by far the best in price, professionalism, personal attention, and the units themselves. The manager Fred is a friendly, efficient, hands-on person who is always in a good mood and willing to help no matter what the problem. Nichole was always on her game, friendly and helpful and their newest addition Matthew is following along the overall atmosphere of their establishment as a helpful, hands-on, great attitude person as well.
