Employee of this storage screamed at me in inappropriate language and threatened me for me telling him to do his job properly. I called customer service to complain ,instead of being on customer side person on the phone fully justified worker of this facility, literally letting me know there will be no consequences for them. If you want to be treated bad at Ridgewood location, go ahead. Some people who work at Ridgewood location aren't kind. I can give many examples. Once the stuff called and yelled at me, it was because I went inside when the storage was closed according to them. There was a note on the door saying that the office was closed, but actually the keypad was working and I went inside to take some stuff. There were some people who thought the same as me inside. I am sorry but if the storage is closed, just lock the doors as you do outside of the working hours. Plus it is hard to reach out to the customer service generally. Also I had the basement storage and it was flooded in a big storm. I got money for some furniture from the insurance company, but I had my own artwork inside and they were all gone. I didn't like the raise of the prices after several months, but other than that the rest of my experience was okay. It was easy to move in.

The storage facility itself is fine, but I docked 2 stars because of the terrible moving service CubeSmart offers to help move you into your unit, A Super Move. They sent a driver that was rude, unprofessional and spent 2 hours complaining and yelling at me and my friends. It was the worst move I've ever had to endure.

When I was notified the day before my move-in date that the delivery option isn’t even available until after that date which was after having several in-person and over the phone conversations with staff about the details of my unit and move-in - I asked to speak with a manager politely since I couldn’t get a hold of one from my own phone to hash out details, I was immediately threatened to have my unit taken away. Free delivery turned into $250 real quick.

When I first started renting from Cube Smart, my 10'x15' unit was $250 a month. It was in a separate gated area that made access to my Cube very convenient. That was 5 years ago. My rent is now $430. Too much. During the Pandemic in March, they offered NO relief to anyone. It's time to consider other options.

The facility itself looks clean. The staffs are upbeat and positive. Betsy, Effrain and Adriana were very friendly and courteous. They treat you like a friend-- makes you feel welcomed. I went to two other different company storage location before this one. Man, the Stop & Stor locations employees look like they hate their job. The one at Grand Ave, the employee has no concern for customer. And the manager at the Glendale one just plain sounded rude. I was planning on using minimum 7-8 storage units, but thank god I went with CubeSmart.

My daughter and I rented a storage at this location recently and Efrain and Adriana we’re so helpful, I reserved the wrong size unit and they made sure I got the size I needed and it fit perfectly! It is my forst time using storage so my judgement was way off but they were there to assist me and for that I thank them. My cubicle has roaches. The light in the hallway has yet to be fixed. So when I go there I have to turn the flashlight on my phone to rummage through my things. The manager (Kathy, although they all seem to wear manager name tags) is cold, unapproachable, unfriendly and NEVER says hello or smile. Why come to work if you're uncomfortable or awkward around people?

My experience with the managers here has been nothing but pleasant. On a time crunch with little notice, (no emergency to Kathy or Tiffani), they were extremely accommodating in making it all work. Kathy took me as the last appointment, and prepared everything ahead of time in case I ran late. Tiffani made sure I could secure transportation when their truck company was all booked up. Also, Kathy is very thorough and straight forward, but so down to earth I feel like I have a personal connection when I'm doing business there. It's not necessary, but makes all the difference. David Walters is The Man. Capital M. He made our whole cube smart experience so easy and stress free. All the staff are super friendly and helpful and the facility had everything we needed. Definitely took a ton of stress out of our move. Highly highly recommended. Big thanks D Double U. I'm editing my review and adding that Kathy, another manager, was extremely accommodating, helpful, and friendly. She helped us out with the last load of our weekend long move only 20 mins before close.. and she wasn't rushing us at all. She even let me in the office right at 7pm so I could use the bathroom. Our unit was clean, bathrooms are clean, the loading dock is clean, and the hallways are spotless. The access to the building is very easy, however very secure. I feel comfortable that my valuables are stored there. Thank you David and Kathy! You two made it possible for us to sleep at night... and we didn't even have to take any Xanax! ;-D hah

I was also very pleased with the rates and the fact that I was able to utilize the truck for free really helped me to stretch my moving budget. I would wholeheartedly recommend CubeSmart especially the Wyckoff location to anyone!

D. Vives, the agent at this location, was extremely helpful on Sunday 8/17/14. I arrived just minutes before they were closing and Vives kindly let me in along with my friend and all my luggage and boxes. He helped me through the forms I had to fill out, confirmed my online reservation and even gave a tour of the storage units. Overall, great location as it is close to the L train and neighborhood isn't shady. And D. Vives' customer services was phenomenal.

They were awesome. Made everything super easy and simple. Checked up to make sure we were still on for appointment (but not hounding me) & They got me an awesome offer for a free 1st month & Free truck & Driver within 48 hours of move in. A++
