There is piss and throw up on the floor in this building. I’ve seen moths, cockroaches and who knows what else is infesting this location. Disgusting. Bottle of urine stayed there for a whole week. Throw up (not pictured, but can add if necessary) has been there not long after I first came going on almost 2 years now and is still there No climate control- if it’s hot outside, it’s even hotter inside and if it’s cold outside, better wear a ski jacket

It was a simple process. I was able to view multiple unit sizes prior to commiting and pick the size that was most appropriate for me. The rep that was there was very professional and pleasant, extremely knowledgeable and she was prepared for any questions that I had. The customer service is great when I went to visit! The unit was spacious and clean. The temperature upstairs in the building is controlled and perfect for storage. Excellent Service: I would like to share my great experience at Cube Smart Self storage on 95 Woodfield Rd, Hempstead, NY 11552. I have been their customer for 4 years and have been very satisfied with their services. Their manager Ms. Jennifer, is an excellent employee who always has given me an outstanding service every time I need any help with. She is a very good manager and also a good person as she listens to her customers’ needs/concerns and comes up with a best solution. All her staff are nice there as well including Mr. ED. They keep the place clean and in good condition. I was very impressed by their outstanding service and the best care for me. I would recommend this store to anybody.

Clean facility but they never answer the phone and you are not allowed to throw away your garbage. Rent was raised too frequently and increased at a rate that was too high to be considered fair each time. Started out paying $189 per month....less than three years later the rent spiked all the way to $411 per month. (Not a penalty....my bill was paid on time every month.)

This place was not to to pleasant I myself had bad experiences with the place at first it was grate like all things but at the ending point I had ran in to a bad time and could not pay on time my wife had told me our stuff will go up to auction i call and ask and beg for a 2day extension but was denied I call the 800 number to ask for assistance I was told that there not the owner to the location so talk with the manager and was told she will help me I did so she was cool and with I dont care attitude so I explained my child new born stuff was there from when they where born she still told me it dont matter my stuff will be auctioned off at 1pm I was so disappointed about the matter that I did not get any type of help like was told to me by the 800 customer service ppl Jennifer was cold. But the rest of the staff like a older gentleman name es was alway plecen I was so a sham it took a toll to me and my wife we lost our children stuff and all we ask for was 2day but no help it was always a issue this place manager never helps and she spends more time on her phone the providing services or never there. But who ever owns this place u need a new manager not staff manager I did file a former complaint on this matter.

Getting expensive considering they don't have to do anything 'for' you but provide a spot to store your stuff. I understand they have to pay leases, salaries, utilities etc., but still. My bill has gone from $112 (and that was a special price!) to $140 in less than 2 years for the equivalent of 50sf.; I need to meet someone with an unused garage!

Overpriced for loyal customers and rates increase every 6 months if not less (rate went from $212 to $280 in <1 yr)...why can't we get the same deals as new folks? 50 sq ft, not climate controlled and not first floor (considered 'prime') for almost $300/mo, RIDICULOUS! Can't wait to get stuff out of there and into a reasonably priced location. And oh, note that the 'new' late fee is apparently 20% of your monthly cost, which they said notice was mailed to all customers but we didn't get it. Correspondence from them is rare so it's definitely noticed and more so because it's always about a rate increase, so you pay more attention! Further, I don't like some of the customer service there; we had our first late payment in 8 years and when I asked for a late fee waiver (simply b/c as a loyal customer I felt I deserved it!), the guy was condescending and started telling me about the late fee and how we were notified of the increase (not true), that they had proof of notice being mailed (what proof?; I get emails of what's coming in my mail, so I actually have proof of not getting it!), that many have asked for a waiver since the late fee increased, etc., and that they'll be nice this 1 time and grant it, etc etc, as if ALL the thousands paid in 8 years didn't easily make up for it! As if once you put stuff in storage they have to consistently do stuff to maintain it necessitating high costs; as if it costs them something when you're a few days late that warrants a late fee (if they put a lock on a unit it's one that's reused over and over, soooo...) Ughhh.....okay, vent over!

I had a really great experience at cubesmart at west Hempstead. The staff and all the managers were so helpful and wonderful. The manger Jan gave me the appropriate size room that worked out perfect for me with a great price. In addition to that Mr. Jameo, was so helpful and wonderful who help guided me going through all the steps of the process and suggested what works best for me. The customer service at this location is awesome. Jennifer is the best! she made my transition go so smoothly. I kept my grandmothers belongings when she moved in with us here at Cubesmart. Not only is this her home town and have done business with them in the past, but the staff is wonderful and well trusted. The worker Alex helped us, showed us around, and worked with us with prices. Do not choose this company. If they had a rating below 'Poor-Fair' I would give it! I rented a unit in July, 2012 and in Dec, 2012 they raised my rate 10%. Yes, after 5 months, THEY RAISED MY MONTHLY RATE BY 10%!!! I will be looking to find another unit at any of the many choices: Public Storage, Storage America, Storage Mart, Westy's just to name a few of the other reputable companies available.
