My small business has been an accumulating hoard in my house over the last few years. With how cluttered my house was becoming, finding a rental unit became essential. After reading a few reviews, I had a few hesitations going in, but after speaking with the people who worked there, they were easily settled. Firstly, let's talk about the employees. These guys are awesome! Caroline took time to walk me through whatever questions I had about renting and even had a room to demo the different unit sizes. She took time to guide me through everything I needed to know and answered all questions big and small. While they offer monthly payments, I was also able to pay multiple months at a time so I wouldn't need to worry about a monthly draft. Having the employees take time to understand my needs and help me in a caring and kind way means everything. I saw a review previously talking about flooding happening on the first floor. When I asked about this, I was informed after a previous event, measures were taken to fix these problems and they haven't had any since. These units feel clean and safe. There's a nice lofi playing in the background and the space is well lit. I don't feel afraid having my business stored in this area and I'm hoping to continue working with them in the future.

Not a great experience unfortunately. We used this storage facility for nearly 2 years because they were relatively close to our home, but there were some issues over that time that were just never resolved by management, and the rent continued to increase more frequently than we felt comfortable with. Finally decided to move our items to a different storage place.

Water failure in ground floors. Management had no plan to solve and fell back on you didn’t purchase protection insurance … apparently neither did they. They also had no issue raising rent >25% in middle of year. Please go to another vendor for better quality and service.

This location is the worse! The customer service is bad. They don't know what they are talking about. It is not totally climate control as my items had mold on it which it didn't have when we stored it. AND they raise the rent every 3 months!! Bad!! Totally bad business!!! Working on getting out!

What a great experience at the Apex NC Bee Safe Storage. Aaron Nighswander, the general manager was easily accessible for stopping by or setting up an appointment. Other storage facilities were not. During my visit Aaron was extremely knowledgeable about assessing my storage capacity needs and was patient while I ask many questions. When we closed today the process was clearly explained as well as seamless. One thing you will notice at this facility is just how clean and organized it is. Spotless with many nice size hand carts available for moving. Folks here are very reliable!

Stay away from this location. I had a unit flood 3 times with no damage . so we moved our unit to drier ground and it flooded. This time we had damage. We tried working with them but in the end we got scammed. The company knows they have a roof issue but have not gotten it fixed. Yes i can file insurance but figure I have over a $1000 in moving time and cost. No one will return my phone calls. I will be moving out as soon as I settle. They sold a product ( climate controlled) that they know flooded when it rains hard. Funny I could have keep the items in my moist barn and saved a lot of money and maybe would have my keepsake art and etc. Beware they have lots of contracts you sign that only allows you to claim insurance. The regional manager has a phone number that you can not call back. Aaron at the store is such a good guy I have tried to keep him out of this. DO NOT put anything sentimental in your units and make sure to buy the biggest insurance policy they have. Interesting that a climate controlled unit is not liable for rain. Makes me believe working with a mom and pop storage unit would be the best choice. Oh I got a reply from my last negative post but they did not respond.

Unless you only plan to store your belongings for a month or so, do not use this storage facility. I have rented a unit for about 10 months. During that time they have raised my rental rate two times which has resulted in more than a 25% increase. While I would expect some reasonable increases, that amount was ridiculous.

Tiffany was nothing short of a saint! Due to my occupation I needed to read the entire lease which she was completely understanding and patiently waited for me to read it although she thoroughly explained the lease, not to mention I was running late with the move in vehicle they offer and she patiently waited on me, called to check on me and told me not to rush she would gladly wait. The best part about BeeSafe was that I could access my unit at my convenience. Elevators to help me loan and unload items was also a plus. Whenever I had a question, they were always available to answer my questions and address my concerns.

You get what you pay for i guess. It is clean, but do not expect any level of customer service. Entrance is usually blocked and push carts are hard to find. Staff only seem to be there to unlock the office and keep up on FB. Price did go up recently, regardless of a signed contract. So may be time to start looking at options.

Manager, Ginger Swanson inaccurately scheduled the truck rental for my friend the same day we confirmed the unit with a third-party representative. (SN: I was also on the line the day Ms. Swanson inquired of his time and availability for move-in and rental transportation.) Today moving in, she said they had him down for Monday and wouldn’t be able to rent the truck because they lost the reservation! She then “sporadically” recovered the reservation saying pricing didn’t entail the truck. Although my friend mistakenly forgot his cash deposit upon arrival—by the time he returned [AT HIS ALLOTTED appointment time], she informed him their systems were down and not ready. When I called to acquire more information before this post—she took no accountability for her mishaps, continuously spoke over me and had the audacity to say my friend lied about their computers momentarily being out of order this afternoon! Cherry on top is he isn’t even guaranteed a FULL REFUND for the headache and poor service received. Ginger is a pathological liar and you're better off renting from a facility with PRACTICAL prices and Staff that actually possess basic COMPETENCY to be a Manager let alone do the job!

Facility in Apex is good for storage standards, but what I don't like it is how they bait and switch you with their charges and don't tell you everything until you're there at move-in with your truck and have no choice but to pay the extras like using their insurance, locks, etc. They don't tell you that you can use your homeowner's insurance either to avoid using their insurance as well! The final straw for me which will force me to move after only 5 mohths; they are increasing my monthly rate by nearly 20% even though I've paid on time and regularly, etc.

Very smooth experience when signing up, I did everything primarily online. The units are extremely clean and climate controlled. Unfortunately, the experience was not as smooth when vacating. Their customer service team and their local staff need do not seem to be on the same page with their information. Getting in contact with the local office is nearly impossible. I called several different times today and was mostly unable to reach anyone in the local office, but was sent directly to either customer service or a voicemail box. I spoke to someone in customer service two different times today who told me each time that I had until 10pm this evening to remove my lock in order to avoid being charged for another month tomorrow. Then, I received a call back from a local staff member at 5:45pm telling me I only have 15 minutes to come and take the lock off or I will be charged tomorrow. Thankfully, my bf was able to go right away and get it done but it was very frustrating to be told two different things. Despite this confusion, the local representative I spoke with was very nice and patient and listened very carefully when I expressed my frustration and was willing to wait until 6:15pm for my bf to arrive to remove the lock. I really appreciate this type of customer service and I feel like she went above and beyond to help me. I would just like it to either be easier to talk to a local team member or have the customer service team understand the policies of the local office more thoroughly to avoid confusion.

Had an awesome experience with the staff who were extremely helpful, patient, accommodating and often followed up. My unit was close to the entrance on the first floor which was great. I would highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

Very difficult to get your stuff inside. It would be helpful to have more doors to enter into building. Everything was clean but my biggest complaint was we had a long way to carry furniture.

Needed space to store stuff that was nearby and climate controlled. The online experience was simple and efficient. Didn't have to meet the staff, but did anyway. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Would give 0 stars if possible - incompetent local management. I was given a locked unit that could not be opened until the next business day, costing a day of work and an additional day of truck rental. There are a number of outstanding storage options in the RDU area, there’s no reason to risk issues with Bee Safe Storage in Apex NC.

Great staff. Very helpful. Great communication. Had a 15 x 30 unit. First month rent was free. Only ended up needing it for 29 days until I closed on my new house. Only paid of admin fees and the padlock. Felt bad that they really didn't make any money from my rental. But still, I would highly recommend. Plus you get to use their moving truck if you need it for only 10 bucks.

We have been renting a 10' x 15' storage unit from Bee Safe storage since October, and we have been completely happy with the experience! The management team here is friendly and attentive and keeps the facility immaculately clean. The facility is well lit and easily accessible. We have indeed felt quite safe keeping our belongings here, and I would highly recommend Bee Safe to anyone looking for a self-storage location.

This is a fresh building so it is extremely clean. The staff there were very helpful and covered all the details in our rental agreement as well as the rental of their truck that we used for half a day. it's only been a few weeks but so far were are pleased with the decision to use this facility.

I selected this storage facility because of the close proximity and convenience, but I would drive out of my way to use them. Yes, it is a new facility so clean should be expected.
