Worst place ever!!!! I rented there for years that I was in the hospital for a few weeks and also recovering at home.. They were going to auction off my stuff added on a bunch of unnecessary fees.. was not willing to take off extra fees at all or work with me! They simple don’t care about customer at all! Stay away

I rented a 5x10 foot unit. The building is very clean. The employee was very professional. I asked to get reassigned to a storage unit without a big air vent in it (it takes up too much room) and she made it easy to switch. We visually checked that the new unit was to my satisfaction before making the switch. I highly recommend.

We were looking for a storage facility and called all around. We got to Megan and that was it… she was our last call. Price was a consideration and CubeSmart was actually the best however, even if it wasn’t we still were going w them and the reason for that was Megan. She was professional and accommodating throughout the process where as everyone else made us feel as if we were wasting their time. With no sense of urgency she answered all our questions and walked us thru the process. We hung up the phone and showed up at the storage unit 30 minutes later where her professionalism continued. Honestly, my opinion is to call around and get two-three quotes but be sure to make the last call to Megan at CubeSmart. You’ll be glad you did.

Indian Land, SC location. Setting up the rental and getting in was easy enough. Cancelling the rental was a whole different story. I wanted to vacate the unit before the end of the month to avoid another month’s rent. I called multiple times over several days during regular business hours and no one answered. I left 2 messages which were never answered. I finally called the toll-free number and they were able to cancel the rental. Still had an issue getting someone to verify that the unit was empty, but that got resolved relatively quickly

Paid for climate controlled space to protect furniture and artwork only to discover EVERYTHING covered in mold when we moved out. Of course they have an addendum to the contract that protects them from any liability. Do not waste your money, the whole place smells like mildew.

Megan Smith site manager is the absolute best! If I could give her more stars I would. She assisted me and my parents during their recent move from beginning to end. She helped us with getting the best fitting units and best prices available at the time. She shows genuine care and concern all the time and is such a pleasant person to work with. Not only was our experience with Megan top notch but she maintains this location amazingly. She did refer us to another CubeSmart location because their prices were slightly lower on the day we moved in but I prefer (from experience) Megan’s location 100% more. The units are majority climate controlled and the facility is clean, well kept and constantly monitored for safety. I rented a unit here for a couple years and have now brought my parents to rent here as well. I will continue to recommend this location to anyone in need of storage.

Easy online information that was a quick way for a review and a reservation late in one evening during research. Phone call follow up from Megan the next day was easy. She worked with my timeline of holding for a few days. My wife had an easy process of final set up of payment, getting codes,etc. Megan shared how she cleaned the unit prior to our arrival and it looked fantastic. Amanda was amazing. She was extremely detailed during the process, so much so that I couldn't think of any questions to ask. With everything going on, she checked me out over the phone and sent me a detailed email explaining how to get in and where to find my unit. Upon arrival, she came down and found me to see if I needed anything. The location felt very secure with a number of security measure in place. (Gate code, door code, cameras, etc.) My unit was a perfect size for everything that I will eventually be storing temporarily and was also very clean. Highly recommend. :)

Megan was a fireball. No delays whatsoever. She showed me the space, told me how to get in, did the paperwork, explained how Cubesmart worked, got all the paperwork signed. I had couple of questions which she answered. Then when all was done, walked me out to show me how the gate worked and exactly where I should park to enter for my cube. I do not know of anything she could have done better. Meghan Smith....totally knowledgable about Cubesmart and overwhelmingly helpful. She is the only reason I signed with Cubesmart. Absolutely super representative. OH....Meghan is a helluva lot more competent than Cubesmart management who has allowed TWO WEEKS of no A/C to continue to this moment. Just how difficult is it to get an A/C repairman to a major customer like Cubesmart? There is absolutely NO WAY I would rent with Cubesmart again....NOT because of your representative Meghan Smith, but 100% because of the blatant way Cubesmart management has ignored its customers by not repairing A/C in a timely manner. Timely, in July, is the VERY NEXT DAY AFTER IT FAILS. Not 2 weeks after it has failed. Oh wait....it's been longer than 2 weeks. HEY....this very same review will be posted directly to Google.

Megan was ABSOLUTELY wonderful! This was probably the BEST customer service I have ever received. She was very thorough and met all of my expectations. She went above and beyond, even trough the difficult times we, as a country, are going through. I highly recommend CubeSmart, I researched everywhere and their prices are the lowest, plus their facilities are very clean, sanitized and organized. When you call, ask for Meghan.. I have used a few different storage lockers over the years and some have been good while others have not. This particular Cube Smart is the best experience I have had yet. The manager, Megan, makes the whole rental process very easy and will answer all of your questions. This is also the cleanest self storage facility I have ever seen and again, I attribute that to the attention that Megan gives. I can't say enough good things about her or the facility. No complaints whatsoever!!

I rented a storage unit site-unseen prior to my move from the Philadelphia/southern New Jersey area to Charlotte/Ballantyne in August 2018. I'm extremely impressed with the proximity and cleanliness of the facility. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and cannot say enough about Megan, her team and CubeSmart.

I have 3 storage rooms at this CubeSmart location and can't speak highly enough about the staff and facility.The building is always immaculate and the staff go out of their way to ensure my packages are sent out properly and all deliveries arrive without any issues. I can't imagine you would receive this type of service at other storage facilities. CubeSmart is the place to be!

WOW! Could Megan be any better? we need more like her! Now that she runs the show the place is top notch! I called in a few months ago to talk about my unit and look at adding another one, Megan spend 30 mins on the phone with going over different options. She finally helped me double the storage space I have for only $20 more a month!. This is by far the best storage unit i have used out of any in the past!. You can find storage anywhere....however what sets this place apart is It is always pristinely clean, and always well managed and maintained. Megan was amazing and helped me with anything i needed while using this unit!. She is the reason i will only use this location if i ever need storage in the future!. If the company makes a mistake you expect them to fix the problem. In this case I forgot to check out And close my account and cube smart reversed my charge for the month I forgot. I called the office and told Megan I couldn't get there by 6 and she stayed late until I got there. Megan rocks....

I moved my stuff in and have been moving stuff in and out for a month now. I was told they have a truck to use for 4 hours and 50 miles for a $10 fee. I live 1 mile from the storage facility so this was perfect. So although they were more expensive to rent from I went with them for the sole purpose of using the truck. I called and a woman said I cannot use the truck since it is for move in only and new customers and it was a 40 mile range and would be a $40 charge if I’m even allowed to use it to move my stuff out. She kept cutting me off on the phone. Highly disappointed with the bait and switch and this persons overall attitude and unwillingness to listen to what I was told. I learned my lesson and will not be renting from them ever again. I am moving my stuff out before the end of the month. Renters beware if you plan on using the truck and their tactic.

Update: The customer service tradition continues. Megan gets 5 stars! She helped me find a smaller unit when it came time to downsize. The transition was smooth and hassle free. Highly recommended! Ben and Allen were extremely helpful in arranging long term storage during my recent move to Charlotte. The facility is clean, climate controlled, and well managed. Although an 18 wheel moving Van can not be accommodated, the facility does have a spacious shuttle truck available for which customers pay only the cost of mileage and fuel.

Let me change my once 5 Star rating to a 1. I have had a storage unit here since 2017. Yea 2017, we went in today and I had to put something in my storage unit. After we were done, my son had to use the restroom. They have 2 there. I've used them before. The lady at the front was rude, she didn't even let me get the sentence out to ask and she was already answering No... seriously ?!?! This place has raised prices dramatically as well, think it's time to take my business elsewhere. ?????????

Needed a storage space on very short notice. The local CubeSmart staff was able to accommodate us immediately, without any hassles. They even lent us a truck which really came in handy. We had too much stuff to fit in a car. Both the Facility and the truck were very clean and well lit. The staff was accommodating offering advise when needed. I would recommend using CubeSmart to any needing there services.

I've been storing at this CubeSmart facility for years. As a busy professional pharmaceutical sales rep I need a safe, clean, well-lit and climate controlled environment to store my samples and marketing materials, where I can get in and out quickly on a routine basis. I have always been impressed with this location's ability to meet and exceed these expectations. As an added bonus, the management and staff are so friendly and accommodating that I actually enjoy my visits to my unit immensely. We have been with Ballantyne Self Stg for at least 3 years. Jeff is a great manager who goes the extra mile to help you if you need the help. The place is kept extremely clean, which is a major thing with my husband. We have never had any problem with security or anything else for that matter. You could not ask for a better place to keep your belongings....Highly recommend to anyone!!!!
