Clean, convenient, safe. The extra security of needing code at every door and elevator is a bit of a hassle, but I appreciate the extra safety. The new staff/management at our unit (Monroe Rd in Charlotte NC) is a BIG IMPROVEMENT from a year ago when we first started there. The previous staff was very friendly but did not maintain the building very well (ex: our door didn’t latch properly and some things got stolen from the door being able to open a foot or so even with our lock in place. It wasn’t repaired until the new staff came in).

I literally had to call the cops today because when on the phone you acted as though you couldn’t hear me when I said I would make my payment today, then proceeded to say okay well start the auction process today. When I could be in fact heard saying I would like to make a payment. I’m not sure what professionalism would warrant to be spoken to with the tone and velocity that was delivered to me, especially as each time I call I am provided with with new information and account balance details. What choice was I left with then to contact the authorities since I’m out of state (which I believe to be the reason for why I was treated so rudely in hopes that I would allow my items to go to auction when I have made payments on my unit for the last 3 years with the previous management company being patient with me and communicating with me knowing I’m out of state) yet with the new management company I’m being be treated like my name is Epstein by the General Manager when all I’m trying to do is make a payment. Instead I’m being told people want my unit and it’s the only overdue account in the county. But yet you stated your staff was poorly informed for telling me my balance was one thing but when you called today said it was another. I have no interest in arguments as I stated on the phone before I was rudely hung up on. I’m a whole human being, it’s crazy that I have to ask to be addressed as such. All calls are recorded no? Run the tapes back! Do you talk to your family and friends this way? So why was it acceptable to speak to me that way? I’m truly not understanding….

Just moved myself out of this unit, and into another. I used to live across the street and it was so convenient. I’ve never had an issue with parking and they have plenty of large nice carts to help you move. The staff is on site most of the time I am there and always have a friendly person to talk to if needed. I’ve bought a few boxes there just to reorganize better and they weren’t to bad a deal honestly. I was paying 168$ a month for a 5X10 unit but got in with a special promotion in the beginning that made it super cheap. The people are willing to work with you though and let me downsize to save money with zero hassle.

I wish they had working bathrooms.. They have had a sign up for over a month stating the bathrooms are closed... It's necessary that a functional bathroom is there for paying customers to use.. Had to drive to the store to use the restroom while rearranging my unit and then come back.. It's unnecessary.

The staff for the most part are friendly and helpful when you require their assistance. Of course there were some customer service issues I dealt with on occasion, but nothing of a regular basis... I rented a storage unit for 2 years. However, this year the prices have gone up 2x in the past 6 month, hence my graceful exit especiallywhen the notice to increase would arrive less than 30 days in advance. With that in mind, during covid, when we all fell on hard times, you remember, I was late 1x on a payment..goooodness the late fee is ridiculous, and I felt no compassion by the reps who I was communicating with about this occurrence. Finally, the facility itself is well maintained and clean, but you will see some big dead roaches year round. Once, I saw a live baby in my unit and I raised concern but I rather see them dead than alive and I haven't had any infestations since moving my items out and back into my home...>~<(Fingers crossed) _Will update if needed_

I dropped my keys today down a hole into someone else’s unit. Sadly the owner didn’t answer the phone. However, the guy working, Adam, did absolutely everything he could to help me get them. He worked with me for about 20 minutes then I told him I would probably be there awhile to go do whatever he needed. He continued to stop to check on me over and over to make sure I didn’t need anything else or if he could help. Adam is the definition of EXCELLENT customer service. Thanks to Adam I was able to retrieve my keys and head home. Thanks again!

I signed up online a couple of hours before we were to drop off furnishings and boxes at the storage facility. Received a call from Thomas, the manager, within an hour confirming the size that we needed and the details. Thomas was very helpful when I arrived. I had the paperwork signed, the storage unit assigned, and the boxes placed in the unit within 35 minutes of arriving. The property is well lit and well maintained. The term immaculate comes to mind. I was very impressed with Thomas' professionalism. I would recommend this property for your storage needs.

Would not recommend doing business here unless you are willing to jump through hoops to have your issue resolved. The previous management company StorageMax was very customer driven, CubeSmart appears to be money driven. Go elsewhere.

I have been renting a large storage unit here since late 2016. All the other positive reviews are accurate. Very Clean, safe, well maintained, well staffed. Dana and all the other office folks have been professional and helpful. I previously rented a storage unit at Public Storage (Park Rd/Seneca) and it is a night and day difference with quality and value for the cost (Public Storage was poorly maintained and staffed with disappointing office personnel).

Stored most of our 30 year collection of furniture as we moved into temporary quarters for about 6 months. This place was first class all the way. We have experience in the last three years with 2 other storage facilities (one conditioned like this one and the other not). They simply don't compare and are priced similarly. Recommend.
