Back sliding door is broken and stays wide open from the homeless people living in it that go in and out of the doors. Which also makes the elevator smell terrible. Not safe for your things with the doors open to the public like that.

Loved this storage facility! Stored a one bedroom apt for the summer after college, was perfect storage, and so happy things were in a climate controlled ( and monitored!) facility. Scardenia in the office was the biggest help (being from Michigan, we had quite the questions). Elevators and carts were a plus. Highly recommend!

**A Major Inconvenience with a Major Turnaround** This location is super convenient and close to uptown and major areas. Mr. Francis, the general manager, went above and beyond to help me. I had reserved their move-in truck, but it wasn't available when I arrived. This was a big hassle since I had planned my move with family and friends. Despite this, Mr. Francis was amazing. He helped me book a U-Haul, called the company, and even assisted with the paperwork. This wasn't his job, but he went out of his way to help. Thank you, Francis! The staff are wonderful. I definitely recommend this storage to anyone in need of great customer service and affordable pricing. I came from Public Storage, and they were absolutely awful—unprofessional and filthy. This location, however, is a huge improvement. I pass by it every day on my way to work, and it was convenient to stop in and be helped efficiently, quickly, and with a smile. Great customer service. Thank you so much, Francis. I look forward to seeing you again on completion of my move.

I love this location. It's convenient and I've seen great progress since I started renting here last year. Francess has been especially compassionate and helpful. I was in the auction process and very behind on my bills but i just paid my bill today he was so patient and always communicates effectively, even when my paychecks are late. Prices are a bit high but affordable given the economy. I recommend this storage to anyone who values great customer service. Thank you, Frances!

I have been renting at this location for about a year and 20 days now, and it has been absolutely wonderful these past few weeks. The location has been cleaned up and it looks outstanding. The management, especially Mr. Francis, is so sweet, nice, and patient. I’ve seen him work very hard on multiple days that I come in. I own a company/boutique in Charlotte and uptown, and my husband owns a bar, so I come in often. I want to express the 360-degree turnaround that has occurred on this property. Mr. Francis has worked very hard, and his professionalism, punctuality in responses, and sense of urgency towards his customers are absolutely outstanding. I sometimes come into the office to leave him a coffee because my office is close by and I often check if I need any supplies from my unit. This location is moving in the right direction, and I’m so happy because before, I was even thinking about going to another company. This place is wonderful, and I’m so grateful to Mr. Francis for assisting me with all of my needs and being there to help me around the storage facility when I’m alone. He’s always very helpful. Again, this is a great location, very convenient to uptown. The area still needs a little bit of work because it still is on the downside, but the property is magnificent. I definitely recommend this facility for its great staff and excellent customer service.

This is a public space so the restrooms shouldn't be locked during business hours. I had to wait and ask for the key to open the rest room. The main door was once broke. The handles on the carts are loose making them hard to use. The rent increase was to much. The building is mostly well maintain and i really like the jazz music playing.

If I could give 6 stars I would Who is this Patrick guy? I’m literally sitting in my car in the parking lot blown away and amazed after having a marvelous 30 minute intellectual conversation with Xavier . This dude rocks. Apparently The guy in the last review went to auction after making 1 payment with the last Manger Rebecca. Xavier had the unfortunate task of informing a tenant that their unit had been sold in auction out of his control. I couldn’t let someone tarnish this man’s good name & reputation as a General Manager . He’s been there on his own for 3months with no Store Manager with days off less frequent than most jobs I commend Xavier for all his hard work he truly is a Gem.. I definitely recommend you speak to Xavier if you have any questions comments or concerns about anything l encourage you to come in store & stop by in person to get the FULL “XAVIER Experience”

Xavier, the GM, was professional yet like an old friend you haven’t seen in a while. He answered all my questions and then some. I had locks from previous storage rentals, and we checked to see if they would work with the units there. This saved me the $19.99 I would have initially had to pay. He assured me that security at the storage was top priority. If you’re looking for a storage facility to store your belongings, I suggest Bee Safe aka Cube Smart is a wise choice.

I had a flawless experience reserving a unit at Bee Safe. Their lobby is beautiful designed, to make you feel like you are in a bee hive. Xavier took great care, helping to coordinate the free box truck that you are able to use with move in. He explained the whole process, and even let me know that the first month was free! The facility is highly secure, with cameras EVERYWHERE. I highly recommend keeping your belongings at Bee Safe.

This place is great, mostly because Xavier makes it so great. He is so welcoming and made my experience here one I will remember next time I need a storage. From signing up and getting the unit, to just seeing him in the halls here and there when moving things, he’s such a pleasure to talk to. When I first came in to inquire about a unit he spent so much time showing me multiple units to help me figure out which one was best for me. There is lots of parking, direct access to pull up next to the doors and tons of carts to utilize. Anyone considering this place, definitely do it! It is so clean, safe, easy to access and Xavier will help you out while providing superb customer service. He’s awesome, I can’t say it enough.

From the initial phone conversation with a representative @ CubeSmart to the call back I received from an Amazing soul and outstanding Professional @ Bee Safe Storage, my experience with store #5881 has been AMAZING. The manager, Eileen, she’s on top of it!! She called me to confirm my reservation and waited at the store for me to arrive from out of town, minutes past closing time. She was graceful, extremely friendly and professional. I needed her energy after long travel and I felt very good with where my belongings were securely stored, after a beautiful first impression. I’m delighted to say that EILEEN made the experience what it’s been for me. She’s warm and welcoming and I appreciate her ability to communicate effectively and offer help when needed. I’m beyond disappointed. I came by my unit today and as soon as I opened it I found white powder over every single one of my late grandfathers’ things. The floor in my “cube” is caked in it. For them to treat my things this way and charge what they do is utterly disgraceful. Do not ever rent from this company. I will be moving out soon, after they deep clean everything in my unit.

I hate unethical business practices. They gave me 2 options. 1 month free or 25%off every month. 5 months in they add an extra $30/mo because of the “annual rate increase”. At least tell me when I sign up what an estimate rate increase would be. But of course you won’t because you are just trying to get people in the door then sneak this in on them. So much for a “discount”

Do NOT sign an e-lease, view the unit in person before you sign anything. I paid for a 5x10 unit and signed the lease online, but when I arrived to move my stuff in I was given a 5x5. The person in the office refused to physically come view the unit, refused to give me another 5x10 unit for the same price, and even refused to knock the price down to a 5x5 since that’s what I received.
