They made getting a unit and moving in incredibly simple. But, even more amazing than that, they made moving out just as easy! I cleared out my unit and had every intention of calling to cancel. But before I got around to that call, I received an email letting me know that my move out was complete! I guess they noticed I had removed all my stuff and the lock and went ahead and closed out my account, which I really appreciate. Totally awesome facility (even if their bathrooms were out of order when I really, really needed them).

I am still a patron of this place but my experience with them started in early 2019. Through the years I noticed that there were frequent increases - I rent a 10x10x8 room and the initial rate was $65+tax, as of April 2024 the rate jumped up to $145+tax ($156.31). After looking at the increases I expressed my concern to Lisa/ GM for the frequency of the increase and she indicated they go up annually like the price of eggs, bread etc Upon my due diligence I assessed that they did over 8 rate increases during the course of my tenure - and quite frequently they were bi- annual increases. I asked for a reduction as the same size unit with them is currently $68+ tax but after appealing to her area manager Lisa indicated that he will stop the rate increases but there would be no reduction. My choice it to pay or vacate. Over the course of the rental there I did use it often and it was a beneficial service. I must also supplement the concerns of some other patrons there : door left intermittently open, lack of carts to use for moving belongings, the men’s restroom has not had running water or soap for 2+ years. On one occasion when I addressed the GM for that she said that it’s an automatic faucet and patrons keep removing the batteries out of it therefore it doesn’t function. With a place of this capacity and volume you’d expect running water, soap and a usable restroom but it’s not. The toilet has had a broken cap on it for 2+ years and continues to be in that condition. If you’re going to rent a unit here for a short term it’s great but if you have long term and frequent needs please be aware of all the discrepancies above. Update: Revisit 6 weeks later and the same situation persists. Toilets are malfunctioning and the one is still broken. No soap in any dispensers. The water still doesn’t work. Had a phone call with the GM and she says she had university kids rent storage earlier this year and they continue to remove the batteries from the automatic faucets. She expressed the same concern last year. Asked her why they don’t use standard faucets like most commercial properties. Indicated they can’t make the decision, it’s the owner of the property that makes that decision. Emailed Cube Smart customer services. No response. I think they reply automatically to suggest that they respond to these type of concerns but obviously they do not.

Getting a unit was easy, the price wasn't bad, and the facility was fairly clean and taken care of. The only feedback I would provide is the door between the garage area and units made moving difficult and the rate was increased in the 2 years we had the unit. On the outside, the road leading to the business is potholed.

The home I was renting when up for sale 2021 after the difficult pandemic and rent skyrocket.I had to go back home to live with my mom.. until I found a better job to support me and my boys.. If you value your belongings I STRONGLY suggest you do not book with this company at this particular location. The managers there have very nasty attitudes and aren’t very helpful. Should you ever miss a payment or get behind on payments please understand they will not let you pay your past due you will be forced to pay that in addition to your current month in FULL. To me that’s simply a set up to keep you inquiring fees. Once you’re behind that’s it. They have no compassion or empathy for you or your belongings should they have to be auctioned off. That part I can deal with. It’s the nastiness of their disposition. They dont seem to have the same energy in person though. Especially the one with the bad makeup. Stay away from this place!

Facility access is a bit unusual. You have to drive up a steep ramp to park in a garage and there are only two spaces to park once inside. So on busy days/times, access can be difficult. Most upsetting though is the up-charging. The $29/month 5X5 advertised on their website is costing me $48/month with fees and "protection plan" which only covers $2,000. I was rushed and so bear the responsibility of not checking this place out thoroughly. If I had I'd probably have rented elsewhere. EDIT: I reached out to CubeSmart as requested and they decided to do nothing. My monthly bill for the advertised $29/month 5x5 is $57.28.

Garage doors work only intermittently and are sometimes just left open permanently. There are two carts available for the whole facility, so bring your own. Hallway lights are left burned out for months. And there are cheaper alternatives pretty much anywhere... with wider corridors, better lighting, actual security, and employees who actually care about what they're doing. Go UHaul for a far better experience.

Just got the storage locker. LISA helped us and is great BTW! Made us feel like our stuff is safe. Supposedly the units are climate controlled so its good for electronics and wood. We are buying another house and the basement has been collecting fixtures and things we would like to put in new place. Seems as tho our stuff should be in a great environment dont have to worry about that. Ill say we did get a 10x10 space and with a free month we ended up paying for next few months and it was a definite fair price. I recommend this storage company the have locations all over the US its the US biggest and best chain of storage units and it costs as much as one that you have to watch what you put in it and isn't climate controlled. I do not like I have to go inside to get to it but then again I do. They are also apart of the storage bin auctions largest in the state so make sure to pay yo bills cuz they definitely seem like they will hit you with late fees to get to it again and also seem as tho they would keep your stuff over a dollar owed. Id only worry about that if you really cannot afford the units. The entrance is difficult to find you. Have to drive up the hill and there's some doors back to the right where you speak to someone. Everything else you have to drive up onto the loading doc. Btw that's convenient as well they have 3 tall garage door one you can pull a big Uhaul up to or a trailer and unload they have a doc to drive up into and they do eqip you with trolleys to help move many boxes instead of a few at a time ??

The facility and staff are nice, but the maintenance is poor. The overhead door at the loading dock has been broken for six to nine months. It’s simply propped open, which allows anyone to enter that is a security and personal safety issue. No excuse for the extended delay of repair, even with the Covid related delays.

At this location, cleanliness is as challenging as any short staffed establishment is and it being a warehouse environment. My biggest concern is the timeliness of repairs done to the broken garage doors used to enter the facility. It’s been months since I became a customer and it is still not functioning. Middle management and regional management could use some additional support from upper management in corporate offices as far as business to business partnerships as we all pivot new ways of doing business during COVID 19.

The lady that work there called me in a very timely manner and was very kind and courteous. The website was easy to use and I could do everything online. When you reserve the unit online, all it tells you is that it will be $40 a month, which I was fine with. Pricing is very reasonable, but VERY misleading. What they dont tell you until you already have started to process is that they charge and extra 24 for "administration fees", and extra 18 for a lock, and an extra 12 for mandatory insurance, totalling at $100 to move in. I have chosen not to use cubesmart due to the misleading information about price and the hidden fees. It is, however, a nice facility and the people are friendly.

After having bad experiences with other storage unit companies, Jordan was phenomenal. He was very thorough with his overview of the facility and his customer service was impeccable. Not only did he make me feel secure in my decision in storing my items here, he also made me feel like a valued customer even before I signed my lease. I and my husband had good vibes about obtaining a storage unit from Cube Smart. Their staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Compared to other storage unit companies, Cube Smart provides extra value, plus the extra feature of climate controlled storage, which protects valuable electronics during extreme hot or cold weather.

Facility is great. Customer service is a bit lacking. I reserved a unit online and was told to wait for a call from the office within 24 hours. 5 days later no call had happened. I tried to make another reservation (which happened to show a $6 discount from the previous week). After not receiving a call I went to the office to sign up. I was told they could not honor the new price since I had made a reservation under the old price. Considering they never held up their end of the reservation by calling me, as they indicated they would, I dont understand why they would hold the line on $6.

Shortly after making my online reservation, I was called by Jordan, Branch Manager. I told Jordan I was on my way and he let me know they close at 6pm. I let him know I would be there before then. I arrived at 552pm and went to the desk to stated I had a reservation for today. I was told "but we are closed." I mentioned I spoke with the branch manager that I would be arriving just before 6 and was assured that was fine and the employee would be ready to help me. You could tell the employee was frustrated with my arrival as he asked if I wanted to do the 'whole move in process.' If arriving 8 minutes before closing is not acceptable, please adjust your closing time. I then waited over ten minutes for the employee to unlock my locker, as he was likely attending to closing duties before assisting a paying customer.

The experience was good for the most part. Jamar was a nice young man and did all he needed to do in order for me to get my locker and key. He just needs someone to take the time to acquaint him regarding how to interact with clients when they come in. He didn't introduce himself or wear a name tag. I had to ask ... not professional. I asked what "air cooled" meant. He didn't give me a good answer. I still have no idea what it means and how it differs from climate control. When we did our walk through to the lockers, the first 2 he opened had a large metal pillar on the one half. Why would I want to pay for a 5 by 10 locker when 1/2 of it is blocked off with that? When he was entering my info into the program, he began telling me how much I would need to pay for insurance. He didn't ask if I already had a home policy. I had to interrupt him to tell him I did. He asked for my policy declaration page, but no-one had told me the day before that I should bring it along if I already had a home policy. So I had to go all the way home to get it and come back to finish. The person I reserved the locker with on the phone the evening before should have addressed that with me then to be sure I brought it along. Finally, I noticed there were U-Haul trucks parked outside and I asked if I could rent one in a few days. He didn't know anything about them. So, obviously, these kind of things don't instill confidence in people who are looking to use your services. Since your using mainly young college students or recent grads, maybe you could consider training / preparing them a little more.

The place seems to be into the upcharge. They say u have to bring have insurance to store anything BUT they don’t tell u that until u are there with a load of stuff. Of couse the will sell u insurance or u have to provide them with ur declaration page from ur home owners or renters policy but of course u don’t have that with u because they didn’t mention it when u called. They wait until u get there so u have to call ur insurance company to get it or pay them. Its a setup to get u to pay more or they would tell u upfront. They also advertise first month free but when u get there they charge an “admin” fee equal to the first month. Overall pretty shady pricing and forced upsell. I did call and get a copy of my homeowners which cost me an hour on a day i was trying to get stuff moved. They also force u to buy their locks as they are the only locks that work in the storage unit. Overall pretty shady practices in my opinion. Bottom line bring ur homeowners declaration page or renters declaration page and be prepared for an up-charge. The only reason I gave them 3 stars was Will the manager there was super nice just caught in a greedy corporate nickel and dime place.

Constant nickel-and-diming. Don't fall for their "free van" scam, you'll just end up paying about what you would if you got a UHAUL, but you won't find that out until the day you try to move. First month is free, but you have to pay for their special lock and their insurance. Can't set up auto-pay over the phone AND you can't set up auto-pay until your payment goes through so it's easy to forget until next month... when you can't set up auto-pay until your next payment goes through. None of this would be so terrible if the customer service wasn't so miserable. We had both birds and mice get into our unit (we have pictures) and we could not get a single person to do anything about it. We're getting our stuff out at the end of this month and I recommend everyone avoid them. I'm mystified at the positive reviews here.

Great staff and very friendly! I had to work harder than expected to get the rate I initially signed up for due to fluctuations, but it's because they're a new location and they're working out the kinks in their system. But because they're new, everything is clean and up to date. Very easy to access and I loved that I could just drive my car inside to unload! Do yourself a favor and don't try to buy a lock ahead of time though! You'll have to get one of theirs!

My boyfriend rented a U-Haul from Life Storage to move his apartment. The rates are affordable, the people are friendly, and the service was great. We could even pick up some bubble wrap and a mattress cover before leaving. Amie was very nice and even extended the end of our rental from 2 p.m. till 5 p.m. without additional charge (even though we ended up bringing the rental back prior to 2 p.m.) We will definitely rent from Life Storage again during our next move! Plus they offer free water to cool off after a day of moving in the heat! :)

We used Life Storage to grab a Uhaul to move across the city. The customer service is excellent. They open earlier than most businesses with uhauls ehih is great if you want to get your move started early. Will gave great suggestions on what type of equipment to use and showed my husband how to use the truck. He was very nice.

I rented a 6x12 Uhaul trailer from here first thing when they opened in the morning, and the gentleman that helped was quick and efficient. He even went out and helped hook up the trailer to my truck and did the light safety check even though it was raining out pretty good. I had a excellent experience and would gladly return again.

Perfect for small businesses. I'm a small CPG company. I was looking for a solution that would have both office space and storage. I needed a dock for when our suppliers pull up semi-trucks with product. Life Storage has it all. It's an immaculate, shiny facility. Great rates and office space. After one visit I decided to move my company's HQ there. I'm already very happy with my decision. The customer service is great too. Very nice people who are flexible and willing to be accommodating.
