I've stored many places over the years and dealt with some pretty amazing property managers but never one like Tracy. From the first call to the final signing of the rental agreement she has went over and beyond to help with every detail. Choosing to get a unit was a HUGE step for me!! The gentleman, Cam, and the lady working there were both very nice and accommodating. While renting from CubeSmart my entry key stopped working, mobile app access never worked, and my original climate controlled storage unit sprung a leak. I think these are very basic and important parts of using a storage service. None of these issues arose due to any negligence from the staff. You can imagine the frustration that could arise from being locked out of your unit when you need it, or finding your climate controlled unit with a puddle of water and damp boxes. Or needing to move all of your things from one storage unit to another (or give your key to a repairman, which I didn’t want to do). The reason I had such a positive experience, the reason I would recommend CubeSmart to others, and the reason I would absolutely go to CubeSmart again is due to the kindness and urgency that Cam (and the other women who’s name is slipping my mind, I’m sorry) addressed these issues. I’ve just now moved out, but I plan to stop by in the future just to say hello to the staff.

I give CubeSmart staff 5 Stars that located at 5411 West Broad St., Columbus, Ohio. The staff have excellent Customer Service skills, they are very helpful and detail oriented. The staff always notify you if there are any changes with your storage account, whether a friendly reminder of your upcoming storage fee or late fees. They also contact you by phone, text, email and sends a letter to your address that was given at the start of contract. I would not change my location of storage with any other facility. I am very satisfied with there excellent service , very helpful and a good listner. Thank you for your service.

I was on line and just found this storage. I got a call from the most pleasant gentleman he went over everything with me from the sales to what they offer. I went inside the store and I was so pleased as I hit the door how clean it was the smell was fresh and clean, that pleasant gentle Cam was ready to assist me. I spoke with Cam for about 5mins and boom the process was done and I was shown my storage and off by my way. I really appreciate Cam and would definitely recommend this cube storage to anyone in need of a storage.called back the next day for an upgrade and I promise Tracy was just as great ?? what a great staff

I have been renting lockers from this CubeSmart for over a period of years. Tracy, the manager has been so helpful and I have never had any kind of problem there. It is such a sence of security to know that your storage is in good hands and under watchful eyes. I am preparing to move out of state and require a larger outside unit and, had it been available at this location, would have happily stayed here. I have made reservations at another CubeSmart location, and Tracy has assured me that my new manager, Sandy will be equally as helpful and (in Tracy’s words, “ a delight to work with.” Very comforting words to hear with so much on my mind! The facility is great but what makes it 5 stars is the on-site manager, Tracey. She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and is there to help with anything and everything. Five star management.

I was attracted to CubeSmart by the first month free deal. I also read about a discount so I was like okay let’s do it. I bought a 10ft room. Not big at all. The next month I received a bill for $218! I was floored by how much the bill was. I had to select insurance (it was mandatory) then there were other random fees tacked on. The original price for the storage unit was $192. That’s grossly overpriced compared to other storage facilities charging $85 for the same unit. Not to mention if you get behind and need to pay more, they don’t allow partial payments. $30-40 of late fees are charged. And then a lien fee of $100 will be charged if it’s over a month. The manager was a very nice lady and helpful with answering questions. I would find storage elsewhere though if you need to save money.

Youll get there best deals online you can reserve one on there free of charge and then go in before you rent the unit and they show you around and explain everything nicely to you and show you the unit youll be renting as well. Its a very clean and friendly place and either steve or henry will take care of all your needs and answer any questions you may have. They are really nice guys and take care of this place with love and it shows too. If your in doubt still then my advice take a drive there before you rent one or more and you will see exactly why i love this place.

Honestly the staff are pretty nice. The 1 major thing that I didn't like about this place, was their prices. They are ridiculously high. I had a 5'×10' unit & I was paying $80 for it. It was temp. controlled but I would of rathered of had a regular unit. Then, they only give you a few days to be late on your payment. If you don't get it in within their time frame, then your unit goes up for auction & low & behold you have lost your stuff...?? UGH....????

I rented a CubeSmart unit on at 3800 W Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio in December and am very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility, the ease at accessing my unit, and especially with Maritza. Maritza helped me when I purchased the unit and was very helpful in explaining everything in great detail. She has been there each time I have needed to get into my locker and each time she is as sweet and as helpful as the first time. I feel that my belongings are in a safe and clean environment and that the price for a humidity controlled locker is very fair. I highly recommend this facility.

I have had a great experience since I signed up at this location. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I have no security concerns with the 24 hour recording cameras and restricted access hours. I wasn't sure about the gate hours at first, but I don't really need to get to my garage after hours and it really is an extra layer of security. Great staff and good security, I would recommend this location.

Friendly, but over-priced for what it is. The lot is clean and the units are swept, the office seems a bit slapped together, but they do offer moving boxes and supplies. They require renters insurance, so if you have insurance, bring your paperwork before going to get a unit, or they charge you for a month of theirs and do not offer a refund.

I recently learned that summer in Columbus (shortly after OSU lets out) is a difficult time to rent a storage unit. Most facilities were simply sold out and the most of the employees I talked to at the facilities that had units were rude and acted like I was doing them a disservice. I had never heard of CubeSmart before and didn't know what to expect. This facility was farther than I wanted from home, but they had large, drive up climate controlled units for prices similar to what other companies charged for non-climate controlled units. When I went to sign the lease the two gentlemen working treated me like friends, went over the important details with me and were happy to answer my questions. They even gave me a golf cart ride to inspect the unit before I signed for it. On one hand I wish this facility had 24 hour access, but I suspect that restricting night access helps reduce break ins. One annoyance is that the units don't have lights or outlets indoor, so it's hard to see after dark. There is an outlet not far outside, so I can plug in a lamp when needed. Overall, highly recommended.
