The gate is still broken and the person living in the white van is still there... every day and parked almost right in front of my unit! It looks like that is not the only person living on the property either. Why am I paying over $300 a month for this??

The reason I went straight to this is simple the one time this place had on-site management and was well kept up ever since they went and removed the on-site management it doesn't seem to get quite the care that it used to not only that they increased the price of storage units at the same time they decreased. I think this is led to a serious security issue as they're also appears to be somebody living on property in a white van with two dogs she does not appear to be associated with the company. Hopefully this company will do better

I've been behind on my payments which I admit is my fault but I tried to go pay it today and arrived at 4:40pm when Google says they close at 6pm only to find out they are closed on a Monday. And the only way I can pay ATM is with cash because they marked my unit as delinquent. So now I'm unable to pay my unit because I work during the entire hours of them being open and can't go there to pay my unit with sentimental items stored within.

The move in experience was excellent. The manager tried to call my phone, but went to spam. Finally called and got ahold of her and she walked me through the entire process. My gate code didn't work at first, but she was able to setup a temporary code so I could get the move done that day. Not to mention, the prices are cheaper than most storage units in the area. The online scheduling of my unit was very user friendly. I was then contacted by Cam to make sure that I was satisfied and To answer any questions I might have. He also met me at the unit to make sure my code worked and that I was able to get into the unit. The unit was very clean & my lock was inside. We had our unit for a few months while we were moving. The check in process at the beginning was fast and easy, did it online and went at my leisure to take possession of the unit we rented. the location is great, right by the freeway which made it easy to get to. The cancellation process was easy too. A simple email got the process moving. Cam helped me out with the cancellation process and was very helpful!

Began to raise rate after only a couple of months - was more 20% more than current offer for same unit if I were to reserve a new unit. Cannot begin move out online, must speak with manager. Left voice mail and no contact. Had to email to get call back and start close out process. (Website lack transparency on process) Response to reply - yes adjusting rental rates can be reasonable & I am not saying that the company is outside of their contract terms to do so; however the percentage of change in less than 6 months of rental seems like a bad business practice. (Even more so when compared to the rates being offered to new customers)

Never again my lock got cut off early and from then on I didn't have keys to my storage then was told my unit was sold after 45 days of being late on payments then come to find out 2 months after being told it was gone I got a bill from them that more than doubled cause of the $110 monthly lein fee and that my unit was now being sold off, so I lost all my stuff and 4 out of 13 months of having the unit I had keys but didn't after that and made me pay for a new locks like 6 different times and they managed to never send me the right keys to my unit and they lock your code to the unit 1 day after your bill is due if not paid on the due date

the managers told me I can have 24-hour access I just needed a letterhead from my company which I work for myself and why would I need a letterhead we're not kindergarteners here !!!!I'm self-employed it's been really hard getting somebody on the phone to talk to them about the 24-hour access it took me five phone calls for somebody to tell me they can't give me 24-hour access I will be moving my belongings to a 24-hour facility

The facility felt safe and the unit and its access was hallway were very clean. We moved in after hours so a lock and key were left inside the unit for us along with a welcome note. We needed the unit only for a few weeks, about a week after we moved out, Tracey called me to confirm we were finished with our rental. I was very happy with our overall experience.

When I called to reserve a unit the manager said all I needed was my photo ID. When I arrive he stated I needed to purchase renters insurance in order to complete the contract. He should’ve explained more in detail that if I needed proof of having a policy before we sign . That was poor customer service on his part .

Overall an acceptable experience with this facility. Had good availability and fair pricing for unit. Monthly payment was convenient since I had moved out of town. Today I returned to empty my unit and bring my belongings back to my now permanent residence in another city. I had, u unfortunately forgot my gate code and couldn't find it in my notes or contract. We arrived at 1230 and saw a sign on the door that they would be out of office until 1300...no problem, people need a lunch break. Another customer was able to let me in to access and unload my unit into my uhaul. After finishing, we pulled up to exit and stop at the office to let them know of the vacating of the unit. Oddly enough, the "will return by" clock on the door had been pushed back to 1345. My truck is now still left inside the gate because I still cant locate my gate code and planned on getting it from the office. If this person working took their original break at 1200 and wasnt returning until at least 1345...that is an hour and 45 minutes of break time in the middle of the work day....wow....I'd get lit up by my boss if I took a break that long, especially if i was the only employee on the clock. I proceeded to call the cubesmart services via telephone and thankfully, they assisted me in everything I needed. I was just overall surprised at this situation because all my prior dealings with this Cubesmart location have been a 5/5. Hopefully this was a fluke situation.

I was renting there it was ok for the first 6 month's but then PRICE rice so I said is ok I can still pay that but after another 6 months again up not mention you have to buy specific lock,insurance so for short term is ok not for a long .

I rented a small space for 1yr. Their online rates don't include the insurance they require you to buy through them nor the special lock (~$20) they require you to also buy through them. Over the course of the year they raised the rates once. Ultimately it was $48/mo for a 5'x10' unit. The facility was reasonably clean and seemed secure. Next time I would shop for better rates.

Initially I thought that this would be a good place for my needs. I went and made my reservation in person on a Wednesday, and the staff member who helped me seemed well informed and knowledgeable. I was told that I would be able to move in on the following Saturday until 10 PM. After moving a 20 ft U Haul worth of furniture and boxes from 2 hours away, I arrived at the location at 4:55 PM. The time posted as their closing was actually 5 PM (not 10 PM as I was incorrectly told previously), and I am pretty sure that I passed the manager as I was pulling into the business. I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to work something out, only to be told that the manager could not come back (even though I placed the phone call right at 5:00 pm and she could not have been more than 5 minutes up the road) and that nothing could be done. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in my life. The regional manager only wanted to make excuses and was entirely unwilling to accept responsibility for a worthless employee that clocked out early. Thankfully I was able to find storage up the road at the U Haul drop-off and self store - I recommend this location, the price is comparable and they do not charge you for a lock or the start-up service fees, and you get the second month free.

Friendly, knowledgeable , price less than competitor for same size unit, 10% off when reserving online. The 10% off may run from 4-6 months, I'll find that out later. But they have, like other storage facilities, figured out how to make xtra $$$$ , application fee and mandatory insurance. I would have paid one year in advance but they only offered one month free, other storage facilities offered one month free at sign up as a promo. But in Cubes favor they were $20 less per month on a same size unit. Just signed on July 6, 2017 so idk the long term opinion, but for the start it's was smooth.
