When I started my contract with Great Value back in Jan 2019, I was paying less than $45 with 24hr access. There had been minimal increases over the next year or so but when they were bought out by StorQuest, the prices skyrocketed to $100+ and I lost the 24hr access! It was time for me to remove my things. The one thing I can't complain about are new front office gentlemen. They were very nice and pleasant anytime I called or had to come to the office. They also returned calls from their called ID when calls were missed which was a plus.

This place is well maintained and Terry, the manager, and the staff are friendly and professional. I had a climate controlled unit because I was storing some furniture and the furniture remained in good condition, no mildew or odor. No evidence of rodents. Gates were maintained and secure, but the outer doors to get into each building of climate controlled units were flimsy and in bad repair for years, and needed replaced with heavy duty doors. That is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

I got a storage unit here when it was still called Geat Value Storage. After it was bought by Store Quest the rates went up and they limited access to our storage unit which was very inconvenient. More money and less access? If im paying to store my belongings i should be able to have access to my belongings at all times.

Facilities are nice with one exceptions. The exit gate keypad needs moved out about a foot as it’s hard to access and then line up to exit. Turning out of the entrance can also be a pain but that’s the city’s fault.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE! Albert Allen the district manager is very rude, unprofessional, has absolutely ZERO means to help with anything that is wrong with this place! Does not care to make the customer happy, just worried about himself! When asked why the rent was increased he said they sent a letter, we did not receive the letter because the post office has been terrible & his response is “that’s not my problem” SO I get penalized and have to pay more instead of given the time to find somewhere else. My rent is INCREASED and access is decreased. Only open 9-6 M-F but every time I talk to someone it’s “temporary” yet it’s been this way for over a year now! Why has this issue not been fixed?! I work only the hours that they’re open. How does that even make sense??? I pay to have 24 hour access to my stuff & I can’t even use it. Seriously one of the worst storage places. I will be changing places very soon, if I’m even able to get there when open and get my stuff out. Oh, & anytime I call someone they’re rude and don’t even try to work around it to be able to let me get what I need out.

would not recommend security not very good. Was moving late one night and they called police on me for being there even tho I paid for 24 hour access. will be moving soon night person living on site not hospitable very rude and disrespectful. staff has harassed me for over a year. when they say 24 hr access it was bull. gate code security doesn't work. on-site manager very un pleasant nasty person he will say one thing and when confronted he will tuck tail and try to save own a$%. he allowed persons to break thru wall into another unit.to someone else property and profited from it.

Very disappointed in the way Great Value Storage does business especially in this time of Pandemic. I was out of town for a funeral and decided to stop by the office to make a cash payment on Sunday thinking they were open. They were closed but I still was able to drop off the check by the door on Monday Labor Day. So on Tuesday I get a call saying I have to pay $20 late fee. I explained that I am dealing with a loss of a family member and that I forgot they were closed Sunday. He said it is their policy, he will not process the check unless I pay the late fee. Even as I explained my situation he kept saying it’s their policy and that I had to pay if not it’ll be considered delinquent and will go to auction. I have paid on time for over 2 years and it’s disappointing to be treated this way especially during the Pandemic when everyone is going through a difficult time and losing loved ones. Very disappointed!!

If I could give less I would. This place has no security so you can literally push any number on the gate and get in. There are people living out of storage units. If you have a Sunday free you can go visit the lady that lives out of her car and storage unit in the 300 level. I strongly suggest not using these storage units the money you save from them you will pay in the end anyway.

Cristina was at the front desk when I walked in this weekend and she was on the phone chatting. It didn't seem like it was a customer on the other end but probably her own conversation. I stood there for 5 to 10 minutes before she got off the phone to attend to me.And on top of that her attitude wasn't all that great. Maybe you should smile and be nicer to customers who give y'all jobs and put food on your tables.First impression is a key and a must to please customers. In this case I wasn't thrilled. Before renting or bidding on any units from this place....Please ask many questions. I have dealt with many storage units in the past and this one operates quit differently than others. WATCH and TRACK auctions. Units often go for higher prices that do not look of any value. One could only assume there is inside information coming from some where. When questioned, the employee stumbled around the question. Please do your research and watch online auctions for a few weeks. You will understand the concern.
