I gave a poor review on the outrageous price gouging and in response I was told they had to keep up with the rising costs of maintenance and cleaning of my unit. The GM drives around and picks up what little garbage is floating around and it is self storage so nobody's cleaning the insides and the GM told me she is by herself all the time so the hundreds of thousands of dollars on the rate increase does not go to cleaning and maintenance it goes into so big wigs pocket. I highly recommend using any other faciltyy.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. This review is just about the company. I ve had a unit for a couple of years now and every 6 months the rate goes up. I am paying enough for a big unit but only have one of the smaller ones. Just watch out if u plan on renting for awhile. There is no warning just a post card that it went up 20 bucks for no reason

I rented a unit at 24000 lorain Rd North Olmstead, OH. On 12/23/15 when I retrieved my belongings, there were several rugs and the bottom of boxes that were wet. I was told by management that this was "typical" and "should have put a plastic cover" over my items. I wish I had neen made aware of this and I would not have rented from them. The insurance that they mandate you purchase (Great American Insurance Company) is a scam. They would not honor the claim (even though the moving company was abale to testify that the items were wet) because I wasnt able to prove that the items were wet through a picture. How could one prove that through a picture. I am dissapointed in Cube Smart for providing poorly made units, bad customer service and poor insurance. The moving company that recommended Cube Smart to us is upset as well and they will not be sending them more customers.

Well, this is as a new customer to this business, but not self storage, I am pleased to report that this facility seems very clean and well maintained I like the longer hours and the fact that there are a lot of cameras around. Other facilities I have patronized passed out mouse poison when signing up, just in case. I hope the reason they didn't here was because there is no problem. The buildings seem structurally sound and insulated (I opted for climate control). The rates seem competitive with others in the area and the staff I have met were very courteous. I anticipate a good experience.
