I ordered a 10”10 unit and they gave me two 5”. 10 and that was an inconvenience for me because it couldn’t fit my sectional. We never broke the seal, we knew the dividing wall was a problem. I’m looking for a refund and I’ll keep those who read this updated.

Update: after reaching out to me below and asking me to reach out to them so they follow up, I did so immediately. I received no phone call or email since. They don’t care about their customers. If I could lower this to zero stars, I would. Never again. The person on staff (I am assuming the manager) was completely unprofessional and rude. I arrived to my unit to find the locks had been changed, so I had to wait 45 min because they were out of office. No big deal, everyone deserves a break for lunch. After receiving my new keys and emptying my unit, I came back to office and the person on shift was just outside by the gate talking with a gentleman that was a vendor (he mentioned it while we both waited for the office to reopen). I walked to the office, the door was unlocked, so I went inside to wait to get my unit closed out. The female came in from outside, I said hi and she immediately said in a nasty tone "You're not supposed to be in here" to which I responded, "Well the door was unlocked." She then proceeded to tell me that as a guest I should know that I shouldn't be inside when she wasn't in there, in an even more unprofessional and sarcastic tone. I'm sorry? If you didn't want anyone in the office, then lock the door, that's your problem, not mine. As a customer, if you walk into any business and the door is unlocked, and you haven't posted anything saying no one should be in there, it's reasonable to assume that it is okay to be in the office. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years, and this was absolutely not okay. Her tone was nothing but dismissive at best, and outright rude and unprofessional during the second interaction. Unfortunately, I have rented with this location every year for the last 4-5 years, and I will not be back if she is the person I have to deal with. Completely unacceptable for her to blame her lack of securing an office and leaving the door unlocked while she was outside on the customer that simply came in to close out the unit and found the door unlocked.

I reserved the space the night before I did not get a call to confirm an appointment so we arrived at 3:30 to find a sign on the door saying they would be gone until 4:15 at 4:15 we went back to the office and it said that it would be closed until 5:45 which is 15 minutes before closing time meanwhile we sat there in the truck waiting for it to open it wasn't until I drove around and found somebody who looked like they would work there and asked and they were a bit on the roadside and said that they're the only person there and they have to walk the place and that you should find them and have them open the building I've never rented a storage unit before I didn't know that that's common practice to not have anyone in the office and that you have to go find them on the parking lot in a big U-Haul so definitely not a good first impression. In the online form it also did not state that you would have to bring your own locks or pay $30 and that you have to have insurance which is $12 at the minimum so instead of paying $110 like I thought I had to pay $161. Just be mindful of your budget and budget extra because they'll find ways to charge you for nonsense. Edit* Had several issues with manager lying and saying I was notified by email about them changing the locks, I was not. Manager insisted that I had the the wrong email on file and had absolutely nothing to say when I showed her that I had notrouble getting the bill each month....so I've spent over $60 on just locks which are cut off and just thrown on the floor inside the unit. They also are very poor in documenting when you call to arrange payments or to let them know you're paying late. I would NEVER recommend this particular store, not sure about the others. Only plus is their district manager Monica is amazing. But sadly the team she manages is not.

OMG the mgr at this location named Taylor and the mgr at the N. Randall location Jasmine were some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. While there were hiccups and things they were unable to do, they made sure to make my experience as painless as possible. Taylor has stated that he is actually moving to an Akron store, and honestly wherever he lands the public will be blessed! His personality and wit are exactly what you want to experience at a business and I for 1 am gonna miss him so much...Awesome awesome staff.

The whole process was smooth. Angelo was very attentive. At move-in he discussed humidity being a factor and ensured I had information and options to help deal with that issue. He also made sure I had the best deal for my storage needs. At move-out, he quickly noted I was vacant from my spot and took care of things without me having to circle back to the facility. It's a rip off. Every unit is a different price even when it's the same size unit. I actually up grade before one of their promos ended and it was supposed to be only a dollar more. My monthly bill is only supposed to be $35 a month. But management claims they didn't get the memo that the promotion was over. So now I'm paying double for an extra foot of space. They didn't even give me a call to let me know they've stopped the promo. Find another storage facility. I got dooped????

What made my experience great was the quality customer service. To begin with, the office associates presented themselves in a polite, professional manner. Also, every month I I rec'd a courteous call as a reminder for pmt. due date and the extended grace period. My experiences with cube smart have been wonderful. Jimmy is an amazing help when needed. I’m so forgetful, but when he sees me he reminds about my bill when it’s coming up. DO NOT STORE HERE!!!! I had my things here about a year and a half.... all I'm going to say is I went to jail for about 2 1/2 months and didn't have contact, but when I got out I find out my things were being auctioned, dont get me wrong they called me a million times, and left 2 thousand messages, ...but this didn't give them the right to steal my things, and put the remaining up for auction....which they didn't mention on the phone when I called customer service....FYI all auctions online ladies and gentlemen...and when I noticed my things....it wasnt even half...just the big things they couldn't move without being noticeable....but it was noticeable enough....I didn't even waste my time bidding because all I wanted was papers and pictures etc. But it's expensive, they're thieves at this specific location...and you can find better...but if u do plan on storing here make sure it's not worth much and TAKE PICTURE OF YOUR UNITS b4 u load it and after so you have proof of what's inside and/or receipts ...so this doesn't happen to you ..DARE TO STORE AT YOUR OWN RISKKK
