My storage unit was one of many that was broken into and corporate was not pleasant with helping to accommodate me through the aftermath. You are not able to use their dumpster at their facility, which is weird however, I will say the manager that worked on the site was very pleasant and helpful which is the only reason why I’m giving my experience two stars.

Their customer service is atrocious they'll have posted hours and they won't be there when you go if you have to pay a bill you have to pay a charge unless you go in the office and the offices and always open when it says it is if you have any issues they will not help you out they'll act like they'll help you out but then they'll turn around and charge you for it later Liberty reads their rent instead of them personally contacting you they say they send letters but they never get to you you go in to pay your bill and find out that the rent went up if there's any problems on the site they will not notify you until you get there and you're sitting on the outside of the gate can't get in my experience with them was horrible I've been in this particular site at 62nd and woodland I've been in this property for close to 20 years I've been through about three different companies CubeSmart was the worst company that had ever been there I would not recommend this company to anybody they're horrible and I had a very bad experience even though they were the shortest of the length that I've stayed there.

Elias is a great employee! He made a complicated process much easier, and had a lovely attitude through it all. He himself deserves 5 stars, but since this review is also about CubeSmart in general, I have to give 4 stars. It would really be helpful if the online reservation and payment system had the capacity to accept payment and ahead of time and generate invoices, particularly for community organizations renting spaces. Fortunately Elias was able to help out!

My experience has me regretting going to cube smart I chose the one month free deal yet I still paid at the time of opening the lease I ended up not needing the storage after all and decided to terminate my lease yet am still being charged even thought I canceled before the month was over and what happen to first month free ? So is it really free .. yeah I don't think it is bad advertisement online it tells you an on online price and in store price yet I went in store and am being charged 143 n some change you call the 1800 number and they can't help you they tell you to call the store because they don't know .. will not recommend anyone come here

My experience with the company wasn't the greatest. So I currently moved from NC to PA. In planning, I reached out to this storage company in Philly because it was closest to where I moved to. When I spoke to the customer service rep I told her that I was moving a 2 bed room apartment. We got everything set up and I paid the fees. When I got in that Sunday 1/15/23 I had to look all over for this storage unit because I never got the email with the map showing where it was. I called customer service again since the office is closed on Sundays and a gentleman was able to walk me through where my unit was located. When I got into the unit, it was about the size of a bathroom. I reached out again to customer service to let them know that it wasn't going to work. The rep told me all he could do is to refund me what I paid but I would have to go through the office directly to upgrade my storage unit. I asked them if the office would be open on Monday 1/16/23 due to the holiday and I was told it would be. I went to the office that morning and no one was in. I waited an hour to call and still no one answered. My U-Haul rental needed to be turned in that day as well so I ended up having to find another storage company and was able to put all my things in storage. It was a very frustrating experience especially having been on the road for hours and thinking you would get everything unloaded plus also wasting other people time who came to help me and I had to deal with with all of that for well over an hour. I think the company may need to have an alternate plan for situations like mine where people are moving on weekends and may need to upgrade or downgrade their storage units.

Bought one of the units from the auction online I went to pay and show them my tax ID so I wouldn’t have to pay taxes and they refuse to except it and then called the online storage site and said I refused to clean it out. I used the tax ID at plenty of other locations in PA and never had an issue. They do not know how to do their job here do not store here spend your money somewhere else

First, I booked this unit because the facility clearly had it marked on the site that they accept deliveries. I have remote techs who use storage units as remote warehouses, so we must be able to have deliveries made to receive material. I was alerted to an issue, and after calling to have the lady in the office release my packages and allow deliveries, she gave me the run around and decided she wasn't even going to release the ones she already had in her possession to my techs who were in the office waiting. Worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I have 35 units across the SE for remote techs; some even with CubeSmart. The lady in the office clearly doesn't want to be dealing with anyone and shouldn't be working there if she can't answer questions properly. To put it nicely, my tech said "she was an absolute nightmare to deal with", and it will deter me from using CubeSmart going forward. She blamed it on an error in the system as so why there was confusion, but from the moment she answered the phone I could tell she wasn't interested in talking. I closed my unit today and will definitely not be storing here again if needed in the future.

Automobile storage contains a variety of vehicle types -- cars, larger commercial entertainment vehicles, and boat trailers. The larger vehicles and the boat trailers make it feel that a stored car might be vulnerable to damage from the movement of nearby larger vehicles. When I parked the car, it had a full tank of gas. When I retrieved the car two months later, it looked like half of the gas had been siphoned from the tank

MICE INFESTED & STAFF DOESN'T CARE, AT ALL!!! This place is infested with mice. At one point I had 2 lockers at this location. As soon as I discovered that there were mouse droppings all over everything inside of my 10x20 locker, I moved my stuff out of this place asap. I wish I could attach photos to this review. I was told as long as I didn't store any food inside, I shouldn't have any problems, but that wasn't the case. It looked like the mice were having a field day in there. Upon moving all of yhe furniture out of my 2nd locker, I discovered mouse droppings on everything. A few hours after moving the furniture into the house a big mouse crawled up out of ghe sofa. The furniture was only in the locker for a little over 2 weeks. I would highly recommend against this place for storing furniture, unless you're okay with mice making nests in your furniture and droppings on everything. Oh, and the on site staff and customer service are aware, but don't care, at all.

CubeSmart has only been here for maybe a year or two it was under another storage named which I've been a customer for 10 years I've stored my food truck here for 5 years and now it's STOLEN !!!
