I had many precious items stored here for many more years than I had originally planned. I never had time to check my unit as I moved several states away. Recently I was finally able to return after...maybe 11 years? All my prized possessions were EXACTLY as I left them...dry, safe, undamaged, untouched. I was SO happy because I've heard horror stories from friends and relatives who used lesser facilities. I am super impressed with this business and their friendliness and professionalism and care. The facility is well run and secure. I do resent the “hidden fees,” including a requirement to take out insurance, which I don’t need, nor am required to have at my EZ STORAGE unit elsewhere. I took out the minimum, which is $17/mo. The CubeSmart in Chestnuthill, PA has more security than Ft Knox, and there has never been a theft problem. This is nothing less than a SCAM! My advice: go elsewhere unless you really need/want insurance (also has a deductible and very limited coverage).

Again she made it seamless. She walked through all the steps from the Contract, to getting through the gate to directing me to the location of the unit. Two wonderful people!

This is good local storage facility. It's conveniently located right off 209. The unit we got is not climate controlled. Prices are good. Staff is super. We got a 5x5 unit. The facility provided us a lock. We had one but having a new one was much appreciated.

I can't complain about staff she is wonderful. I'm annoyed because I got a unit and I ran out of space and getting another unit isn't the problem I just dint think I should have to pay another administration fee and u dint even know what is for. I am already paying enough for the unit and a mandatory lock fee. If i am a customer with a unit already I dint think I should pay another fee.

Highly recommended ??? The staff here made sure I had unit That was easy for me to navigate. I also never worried about my things here and anytime I came to get stuff out of my storage unit, the place was well kept in clean and there was always a maintenance man working around the property, so I always felt safe. I moved out of storage today because I no longer needed it. Today I signed a storage lease with this company ? The two women that work here are so nice! Patient and kind ? I felt cared for. She set me up with the perfect unit for me and I'm so grateful she talked me into renting the indoor unit as I was set on an outside drive-up unit because I felt this would have been the easiest but...she knows best! The inside unit was just as easy! They have a special 4-month sales special right now & it's a really good offer! I'd recommend this business #1 the people that work there make this business great! #2 the monthly price is fantastic & the 4 month special sale #3 The units are nice and clean. ?The staff here made sure I had unit That was easy for me to navigate. I also never worried about my things here and anytime I came to get stuff out of my storage unit, the place was well kept in clean and there was always a maintenance man working around the property, so I always felt safe.

Staff never pick up the phone. Never got notified about a rate change. Price went up big time not just $5 or $10. Spoke to an associate said a manager would call me and never did. Only way I got someone back was speaking to someone from corporate. Staff do not want to help. Management is rude and told me I was a liar. Don’t waste your time with this place or their rate changes all of a sudden. Save yourself and your pocket the headache.

Seriously store anywhere else literally your better off digging a hole in the middle of the woods!!!! They raise rates after 6 months fyi!!!!! Worst experience ever I can't even. And dont try the whole owner response please becasue bottom line yall are expensive and ever since yall switched owners it went down hill Update after owner response it doesnt state that yall will raise rent after every 6 months I was paying an extremely high rate for a unit that I found for 100 bucks cheaper just down the road I spoke with the poor management and honestly cut my loses if I wouldve known of the rate increase after every 6 months and I was paying 276.00 for a 10by10 non climate controlled unit sheeesh. I found cheaper but theres many other issues that aggervated me I Do not recomend this facility and dont need to be told how to handle your poor management also it's not clean and almsot busted my butt on Ice so good thing we pay top dollar

I had my furniture there for two years and 6 months. I moved my furniture back home 11/92021. I was afraid that I would have mold on the furniture but everything was in excellent condition!!! During the check in process I was informed a lock would be waiting for me at move in so I assumed I HAD to use their lock, after arriving I saw cubes with owner supplied locks, I now have a $20 lock I never use again.

Do not Rent from here although both Managers at the Facility Clarissa & Katilyn Are very nice. The actual storage e building itself needs updating I started renting from them the last weekend of April. When i went to move my stuff out of the Facility Unit I rented everything I Owned was ruined by Water and everything I owned had mold all over it. It has been 3 weeks and no one will help me. I have left several messages for Jerry Ford the District Manager (as well as cube smart employees sending him emails) who has yet called me back. When you use this particular Cube Smart you must pay them there monthly rate $178.00 a month which is outrageous for a unit without climate control, as well as $12.72 for renters Insurance thru Great American which is the worst renters insurance they are criminals who steal your money every month, Then when theres a issue have every excuse not to pay for damaged items. So according to them if you have water damage it has to come from above (thru the ceiling) because if it comes from the floor its not covered. So now I sit here unable to move into my rental home that I pay $1500 for because everything I own was ruined with water Damage which then caused Mold all over my mattresses, couches, dinning room set, ect. I highly do not recommend placing your valuable and sentimental items in this facility unless you are willing to play Russian Roulette with the things that mean most to you.

My complaint is about the lock tyte on 209 business which they own also... There is so many things they do not tell you about when you rent the lockers..... They charge monthly insurance and add tax to it. They charge late fees every few days pass your due date.... And add tax to late fees. I was away and late to pay my storage bill, she said they put their lock on my cube after 19 days late.... OMG not even 30 days late..... Check everything here at these cubes before you sign anything..... You just can't trust anyone anymore......

Nice clean-<Old Review-New review>They charged me $35 walking out the door. I was out the 2nd day instead of the first. No way to treat a customer after over a year of payments. I had the pleasure to have been employed with Chestnuthill Self Storage since June 2016.I was welcomed by everyone in such a way it hurt to leave when I moved .They make you feel like family once you walked in the door.I loved getting to know the tenants.They felt the same as myself and still do.They would just stop in to just to say,"hello!",Or honk, as they would be passing the facility.I recommend this place not only as a former employer ,but also a place you can go and trust to ensure your items will be in the most trusting honest hands at all times.

This place was awesome UNTIL they decided to change to CubeSmart. Now I can't get a person on the phone, they have changed the payments rpthe accept, and their personalized service is non existent. the pricing is high for the area, so sadly I will be moving down the road for about $40 less a month.
