To anyone that is reading this and thinking about renting a storage at 1214 longreen Pkwy Columbia SC please don’t!!! take your business else where. i had a conversation with the manage and he talk very nasty to me. Was talking like he didn’t care if people did business with them or not. there affiliated with Cubemart in Columbia. I’m not the type of person that complains but the way he talked to me wasn’t good. I talked to this person with respect and he went on talking bad about people that owe thousands of dollars not paying. Which had nothing to do with me. I do not rent nor have I rented from them before. But they way he was talking wasn’t call for. He also stated that I don’t have to worry about doing business with beesafe and Cubesmart storage. That’s fine there not the only storage place out there. But do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. Yes it’s clean but having Bad customer service and nasty attitude trumps having a clean storage facility. A lot of other storage facilities are clean as well. I’ll rather take my business there than be talked to like that and disrespected. I never leave comments or anything like that or say someone is racist but i can truly tell that manger was. But couldn’t show it infront of other customers. and Hung the phone up in my face. Please dont go to BEESAFE & CUBESMART storage in Columbia S.C. Never mind the 5 star reviews people gave them. Trust me!!!!!!! DON’T DO BUSINESS with them!!!!!!!

Highway robbery. Constantly goes up on pricing every few months. Because of the constant increase in price, it was at the point of not being able to afford to pay for my unit, therefore had no choice but to sign my unit over to the company. Being a single mom of 2(one being a newborn), going through a DV situation which is why I needed the unit in the first place, and having to leave our home abruptly and quickly, I had our entire lively hood inside the unit so it sickened me to do this but I was told that the money they received would go towards the balance owed and the rest would be sent via check to me which is the only reason i had the tiniest ease of mind. The amount they sold my unit for was $200 and it was beyond worth more with 2 new Kirby’s inside the unit being worth over $1k as well as tvs, all furniture from high end places, etc and the company claimed it was sold for $200!! Before Chrys (manager) began working there, you could never get anyone to answer the phone. I waited over an hour for someone to return to the office during business hours in order to access my unit. Chrys is awesome but the company is high way robbery

Very clean facility, nice staff, however I got a disappointing phone call today that made me change how I feel about this place. When I first opened this storage, as with most storages that I’ve used, I always ask for and receive a military discount as I am a veteran and so is my wife. Initially, I got my discount when I signed the contract. However today 12/22/2022, I was told that because I’m not active duty, my discount will no longer be applied. I guess veterans don’t matter. My wife and I fought for this country and to basically be told that we are no longer deserving of a discount because we’re not currently active is a slap in the face. I will definitely be moving my things out of this storage before I give them another dime.

This facility is the best I've been to so far! The roll carts and elevators make moving in or out a breeze. The cleanliness is fantastic. Chrys is absolutely amazing. Even though this was our first interaction, it was like catching up with an old friend. She is funny, knowledgeable, professional, and an overall joy to be around. This facility is by far one of the best ones in Columbia. We had a bad experience with two other storage units where it seems like they’re really nice upfront until they get your money and then then jerk you around. With that being said Chris and her team at the save storage or really a blessing to work with. She was very clear in showing and telling us what we’re paying forShe made the moving process so much less stressful than her competitors. The facilities are clean well kept and Top notch not to mention they have a wine cellar and a truck you can rent on site. We could not have been in better hands and I cannot stress enough if you’re moving to North East Columbia this is The place to be

Tameka was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the property, the shared space, and helpful about the time allowed to be in the facility. She gave me the comfort of knowing my things would be taken care of and watched over. As someone who prides themselves in customer service, I can say Tameka made my day. DO NOT PUT YOUR STUFF IN THIS PLACE!!!! MOLD!!! LEAKS!! POORLY BUILT! LEAKAGE FROM CONDENSATION MAY OCCUR!!! HUMIDITY ISSUES!! The ONLY reason this place gets the 2 stars I’m giving it is because their General Manager Peter is awesome despite what he has been given to work with. My wife and I have had our unit since June and just started putting stuff in there in July. Not only did we end up measuring our unit and unfortunately realized we were being overcharged for our unit size (which should never have happened but Peter definitely helped us with that) but we found not long after moving our things in that this place has condensation leaks from their AC unit and problems with humidity. Someone else’s unit had mold throughout and their stuff was only in there just over a month. They make you sign a mold addendum which you’d like to think wouldn’t be an issue but it seems like it definitely is. We just found a leak in our unit and are currently looking for a different storage facility. Maybe it’s because it’s a newer building, not sure but I wouldn’t suggest anyone moving here until they have a handle on their inventory and have worked all of the kinks out of their building design.

After exploring many self storage units throughout Columbia/Lexington, I was ecstatic about Bee Storage. The place is only 4 months old and it’s such a nice, clean facility. Chris was friendly, professional and very helpful. I actually danced a jig after immediately storing my sons dorm refrigerator in the empty unit! My favorite parts about renting here: -the prices were very reasonable; special rates for first month -drive through, keypad access to the loading/unloading area—all inside/covered. This is especially helpful in the rain or extreme weather conditions. -clean restrooms on every floor -wide elevator; wide carts available -floor map posted by elevator on each floor -A/C set at a comfortable level -the 5x10 unit I chose will be perfect for our things. *I preferred a storage unit closer to USC/downtown but since my son will only be storing excess items there when he’s not in school, it’s still the best choice for our piece of mind and wallets.
