WARNING - please read before renting so you’re aware. The facility and ease of use is efficient and well done. It should be saving them a lot of money which you would think would keep the prices reasonable. If the price had not changed once I got settled in, they would receive 5 Stars, however after being in the unit for just two months the price didn’t just go up a little …IT DOUBLED !! Poor choice to do that to your customers if you want to build loyalty. If you’re in it just to make a buck and don’t care how your decisions affect your customers…that’s your prerogative but I don’t think it bodes well for you long term Mr or Ms Cube Smart person.

As a new Customer it would be a great idea for the company to get Outside toilets because people are using the inside units as a Bathroom and it smells TERRIBLE I had to move from my unit because the urine was coming into my Storage unit I've already been there for one Month and two units Already.PLEAESE HELP!

All I can say is that I reserved a unit online. It was quick and easy. I haven't moved to the area yet, so I can't comment on the facility itself. Got there intending to self rental- no code for temporary lock given, was very unhappy to see big sign out front that said 1st month free when I just paid only 1/2 off first month! No one at office to get code for temporary lock and had to rely on a very nice STRANGER to call customer service to get the code 20 minutes later! Hopefully won’t be renting for more than 2 months! 29.95 admin fee??? For me doing it myself online- crazy!!

My storage unit was broken into several times over the past 3 years, lost eveything that was stored in it including 100 years worth of family photos and heirlooms we'll never get back. Sure they reimburse you if you have insurance but thats it. You'll never get anything back that gets stolen, and they refuse to do any upgrades to the storage units to prevent theft. All I've seen them do is add cameras.

Been a customer here for 8+ yrs all they do is raise rent. Change staff way to often. Crappy security, many units had locks cut including mine. Today was informed i had to buy their 25.00 lock They require everyone to have this lock now. Zero notice from corp about this. I felt bullied by the staff, having been told if i dont buy their lock, they will refuse my rent payment. This customer is GONE! Will NOT recommend this place ever again.

The people at this location are incredibly helpful and friendly. The storage units are neat and clean and well-maintained. I love that I can access my storage unit from 6am till 10 pm. Plus if your'e hungry, Taco Bell is right next door.

My daughter just moved to the area after completing college and this is the first time away from home. After filling up her new apartment, we realized that we needed to get a storage space for this extra stuff we had. We found a flyer for this particular CubeSmart at the apartment's clubhouse and decided to give it a try. We both were pleasantly surprised to find a great location at an inexpensive price. The manager Adam took good care of us and was very professional when we arrived. I have never got online and reviewed anything in my life but I feel like this gentleman's customer service just floored me. I hope this review helps anyone out there looking for a great spot to store there stuff. Cheers!

Addam, Dominick & Harry are 1st class people. They are sincerely interested in the customer and genuinely care about the customer as an individual and what is going on in your life. This, bar none, is the best customer service experience l have seen ever. I am especially aware of exceptional customer service since l am in sales management.

My husband and I relocated back to the Charleston area last year, and chose CubeSmart as the location to store our household items. We were treated like royalty from the start. We reserved our storage unit over the phone, directly with the general manager. When we arrived at the facility with our moving truck, we were greeted with a positive attitude, very helpful, and the exact size storage unit that we needed. I recommend this storage facility, on Rivers Avenue, to anyone looking for storage needs. We have experienced a secure, friendly arrangement . Hats off to CubeSmart!

I've been a customer of Cubesmart for over a year as I do not have storage where I live. There is not another storage facility that could ever replace the exceptional service the staff for this location has given me, Adam especially.. He was very, very understanding to my needs when I fell on rough times and worked with me as much as he could, and I appreciate that.. I have been extremely pleased with the service the gentlemen provide me here at this location. Each time I have needed assistance with my account they have provided top notch help. The general manager, Addam, is respectful and attentive to the facilities needs. I recall when showing me the unit there trash on the ground and rather than walk by it he chose to pick it up. This would be why the grounds always look so clean.I would recommend this storage facility to any family or friends looking for storage in the Charleston area.
