Was the most affordable at one time when it was called "Out of Space Storage". Had no problems at all. Then, 2 months ago the place changed ownership and the rent price went from $112.00 to $136.00! Effin' ridiculous!

Crooks!!! Raised my rates have been with them for years and have 3 units they’re expecting me to pay $1000 a month because they say that long term clients are “not beneficial” this is absurd and extremely frustrating and on top of that no one cares!!!! Make sure you pay attention to your paperwork before you rent with them because they wont lift a finger once they take your money!!!!

My representative won my possessions back on my behalf, due to being ill . Paid the auction and attempted to settle debt with cube smart as directed by auction. June, manager at North Charleston location was being spiteful and blocked him from doing so and all memorabilia is gone. I can always purchase new worldly possessions, but not scrapbooks and pictures

Great customer service!! The pretty lady behind the counter was awesome. The unit needed work, and we discussed it. Only there a month, so didn't expect the repairs to be done. Kinda pricey for what I got. 5x10 for a hundred dollars. Plus in South Carolina, property insurance is required, so be prepared for the extra cost on the unit.

I rented a unit from this storage company for 2 years and was very pleased with my experience. I got a good price, friendly staff, easy access from the road, isles are big enough for the U Haul to fit through, and never had a problem at all. Ended my rent there only because I had to move. I have way Too many good things to say about this unique little facility ,so I’ll just mention the important details. Their security is discreetly enforced . Staff walk around and check every single lock on all the occupied units to make sure everything was the way they left it from the night before and that things are secure . They actually care about your stuff ! After speaking with Melissa and figuring out my options we were able to quickly find out what I needed . She never tried to sell me any more space then What I needed and beat competitor prices . Very quick and hassle free . I enjoyed my first experience here so much that I stop by every once and a while just to say hello . As a worth mentioning bonus , if they see you loading belongings into a locker and it’s 1000 degrees out they drive by and throw you cold bottled water . ???

We’ve been with this storage company for 6 years. The new hands that has taken over is money hungry. Increase in storage unit and the list goes on. The finally straw that was mind blowing to me is that the storage being paid on time was more important than their clients safety. My family and I evacuated due to potential threat of hurricane Dorian (mandated evacuation by the governor of SC). Clearly, safety is not of importance to the manager or staff of this company because I was suppose to remember to stop in before evacuating to pay my storage while also try to pack for myself, a 4 y/o and secure my house as best as possible. What a joke...I’ll be writing to corporate as well.

Since the new people have taken over, they have raised my unit price to $90 for a 5×10. They told me this is the going rate for all places. I checked on other storage places and they average $47 for this size unit. On line they offer the same price, but say, "prices may change". Needless to say, I will be moving out!
