Rented an outdoor parking spot for RVs. Stored a boat and utility trailer in the slot. Returned after 9 months to find the utility trailer had been stolen 6 months prior. They failed to notify me, the owner. Showed it as being in the lot for the entire time. The workers don't get treated well enough to care. Find a local place with local owners instead.

After two and a half years my rental fee for each of two units has increased $97/mo for each unit. They lure you in w a great rate, then raise it every 6 months. Mine started at $140 and is now $237/mo for each unit, don’t stay longer than 6 months, otherwise they will slowly bleed you out.

Was a customer for almost 5 years. At the end of 5 years I was paying almost double the original price. Prices were raised with very little notice and no consideration for the loyalty/consistency of customers. In addition to that, they removed the internal customer restrooms. CubeSmart is entirely about profit and does not care about customers. I will say that they do maintain the facility well, which is why it's 2 stars instead of 1. I have seen other places that had pest infestations and took no responsibility for it. I had no issues with my items degrading because of temperature or pests, etc.

I don’t recommend this storage facility, if google had an option for 0 star I would, why? They are increasing the prices $20-$40 every 3-4 months, the storage has bad pest control, theirs water leak from the roof, and drugs going in and out. Yeah that facility is not safe or secured for your personal stuff.

I do not recommend this storage facility, and here is why they have a convenience fee when paying your bill , the dumpster is off limits , and about every 3-4 months they will send a notice out letting you know the bill is going up 10-15$$ , also corporate will randomly up the rate on your storage unit there are plenty of other storage facilities that are alot more reasonable in chattanooga.

Disorganized. Rude. Their website deliberately tries to steer people into paying their ins rather than excepting your own. They make it painfully difficult and almost hidden. They may have multiple and convenient locations but be careful. After reviewing every self storage in the area this is the only one that uses non transparent and steering techniques to get extra money out of you.

This is the absolute worst storage unit company on the planet. If I could give no stars I would. There is drugs coming in and out of this building and the management knows all about it and doesn’t do anything about it. The management will also look into your units without you knowing it.This is not a safe place to be. They close the bathrooms that are accessible after hours so you will not have access to the facilities. These people will not give you your money back under any circumstances if you are not happy and want to leave. This place is not safe for anyone, there are people using drugs and living in these units. There is people complaining about them going up on there rent every year and they don’t care. Upper management only cares about your money and not your safety nor your reviews. The only way we the people will be heard is by standing together with our combined voices. Don’t let these people take advantage of you and your friends and family. Again, I would give them no stars but Google want let me. Do your due diligence and read the reviews on storage units before you give them your money to store your most precious property. This company is the worst and they don’t care.

It was fine when I first moved in back in 2019! But rent went up too much! Paying 170 a month, I couldn't afford it anymore My rent always went up because I was late, didn't always have the money at the time my bill was due! Then late fees my bill would be 205! That's just crazy! I left because this price is so unfair I'm paying a lot less for another unit somewhere else and being climate control, just a ft smaller than what I had with you all Units aren't worth the price you pay here! Before I moved out, a lady was moving in right by me, and said she had the same size unit and had 2 and was paying 175 a month! It's always hot in there as well Lighting isn't good inside the units, all lights are in the hallway not over any unit! Makes it hard to see what you are doing And if you leave, make sure you sweep you're unit out or you will be charged for that too! And no dumpsters for you to use anymore, when I first moved in we could use a dumpster!

It seemed to increase every 3 months after the first year. Not sure if that’s a standard thing with storage units or not. I should have asked more questions before renting. My father-in-law had his business truck stolen right off of the lot that he pays monthly to have it parked in. Cube Smart refused to help in the situation and denied any responsibility for the situation seeing that they let just anybody on the premises. This property is not secure and theft is abundant as other reviews indicate. Would not recommend their business!

Our property, as well as several others, have been robbed and vandalized several times. We were never notified by CubeSmart that this had occurred, even though they made the discovery. They had valid, current numbers for us. We just happened to be checking on things and found our catalytic converter cut from our motorhome and our utility trailer broken into and robbed. Homeless people were found to be living in storage units and sleeping outside, also. Damage was over $2,000. Nothing is covered by them.

The building is very secure & clean. I can’t vouch for whether or not the outside is well lite at night since I’ve only been there during the day but the inside lights up as you walk through. The gentleman who was there during my visit was very nice & helpful, didn’t get his name though! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that when the manager, Andrew, (I assumed he was the manager because they told me the manager would call to confirm when I set it up) called I had questions for him but he didn’t seem very interested in answering them & some he didn’t seem to know. My main issue though was I told him I had already purchased a lock at the GA CubeSmart & didn’t need another one. Since I was registering online I had to purchase theirs but he said I could get refunded for the new one when I got there. Well when I got there yesterday, 8/31, the gentleman there helped me find my unit & when I said I needed to return the lock because I already had one he said he was sorry but he couldn’t because they have special ones for their lockers. Now I had to buy the one in GA because the one I had bought wouldn’t fit in theirs so that was about $20, but at least I can possibly use it for something ??????? but the one I just bought from this location, another $20, can’t be used for anything but their units! I was not happy about this but can’t do anything about it since all my things are in that unit! The gentleman there tried to make me feel better by saying theirs are more secure than a regular lock but pretty sure the one I had would be tough to break into also!!! Oh well ?? Other than the lock issue though, I think I will be happy with the unit. Hopefully won’t need it for very long! ????

Drew Leonard and Andrew Jetton were very professional in assisting me with getting a storage unit when the 1346 Hickory Valley Rd location failed to be available on the scheduled date after waiting over 30 minutes. At the Brainerd facility, Andrew escorted me to the unit explaining all that was available. Facility was very clean.

I reserved my unit online, which was very easy. Within 24 hours I received a follow-up call from Drew who was very professional, courteous and answered all of my questions. When I got there he and Andrew were great. They showed me around and took me to my unit. The entire facility was spotless! They assured me that cleanliness and pest control was a top priority and you can easily see that is true. I can't brag enough about Drew, Andrew, and their facility! If you need a storage unit I highly recommend checking them out. I also recommend you but your lock from them. The units use a short cylinder lock. Theirs is about half the cost of one from Ace. JB

She is very rude and made me feel like my business wasnt wanted or needed at "her cubesmart" so since that is the type of managers cube smart employs i will do business elsewhere. I just couldnt believe the way she spoke with me like i was a child and not a paying customer. Her attitude should be reprimanded! Its complete and utter bull!

I have previously used this CubeSmart last year and was very satisfied. However, this year, I made my "reservation" early and told them when I was coming at the end of the month. I was supposed to get the first month free and the second month at 15% off. So my total was about $74 plus tax. I called to confirm the week before my reservation. They said it would be fine. I arrived on 4/30. They said I was erased from the computer so my reservation rate no longer applies. The new rate for two months was$145.00! A HUGE difference. Clearly a bait and switch. I would have done a little more shopping around at that price. I warn all comers about this major bait and switch. You could end up paying twice as much.

If there were 10 stars to give, I would give them all to the General Manager Kristy Green. I can not explain how she naturally made my horrible day better. She not only was friendly and came and opened the for for me as I was walking in but she was very personable and has obvious customer service skills that allowed her to be able to read by my body language that I was not having a good day. Everything started out great. The two associates that I met were wonderful. They were nice, made you feel comfortable, and were very helpful. Almost a week after moving we were notified that they had a pest problem and needed everyone to vacate. Super frustrating but I understood and didn’t want any of their “pests” to get into my belongings. The manager was nice to give me a few days to get over there and clear out the unit. Well, when we arrived, she had the pest control there already and sent one of the associates to tell me that if she had to have pest control come back out, since we were still in the process of loading everything on the truck, that she was going to make us pay for it. I couldn’t believe she said that. I told the associate that I would not be doing anything of the sort and that we were trying to move as fast as we could, considering we had our 7 kids with us since school was cancelled due to weather. It was their fault that they had pest control come out at the same time customers were moving their things. I don’t know if the things this manager said and her overall rudeness and disrespect was because she was having a bad day because of what they were having to deal with or if she just didn’t like me. This was the most terrible experience that I have ever had with a business.

Never needed to rent a storage cube until now. I had some questions to ask, but no one was there. I was there at 1:00 pm, the OPEN sigh was lit up, but there was a clock on the inside door that said "Be back at 2:15". I was on my lunch break, I didn't have time to wait. I guess I'll go somewhere else that has actual people running the office. It's pretty sad when a large company can't afford more than 1 employee to run the entire office area. I'll be sure to post on Facebook and call the Cubesmart 1-800 number, and tell my workplace not to ever rent anything from Cubesmart. Thanks for nothing.

We sold our home in Michigan and re-located to Chickamauga, GA. Our home is being built and we needed a storage facility for 3 months. I called Cube Smart and Cindi Greathouse told me about her facility. I was very impressed with everything she told me about the indoor climate controlled building. When I arrived there Saturday and met the moving truck, Kristy, who works for Cindi really made me feel at home and we had great conversations while the movers were loading my storage unit. This brand new facility has loading docks so the big trucks can back up and unload. The workers thanked me for choosing this facility as it made their unloading very easy. Faculties are brand new and very secure/well organized. The manager Cindy was very helpful and willing to stay a little late to help me out. After fees my 5 ft by 10 ft is about 51 dollars a month which is reasonable given the climate control and overall quality of the building/locker.

On top of paying a monthly rental fee, you are stuck with a lock that you HAVE to purchase for $11.99 that only works at their storage unit. I would NOT recommend CubeSmart to anyone. You have to walk long distances with your merchandise to move in and out your unit. I will never come back or refer anyone here.

My experience with Cube Smart and Cindy was great! It's my first time renting a storage unit and Cindy was great she helped me with all my questions. The only downside is that I'm not comfortable going at night due to the lack of light at the access door. I went the first night alone and will never do that again. I was extremely uncomfortable unloading my stuff behind the building in the dark. I was very vulnerable and I shouldn't have stayed. So the only thing I would change is them adding lights in the back of the building for those who need to unload their stuff after dark.

I was not expecting it to be completely indoors, but it was very clean. Cindi was very attentive and welcoming. She explained everything to be because it was my first time renting. I felt very comfortable! With that being said, at night you are only able to come through the back door. The back is very creepy and the lits turn on as you walk. They also had faint classical music playing and it added to the eerie feeling. I wouldn't recommend going alone at night.
