We’ve had a several urgent home moving crisis and this Cubesmart location has always had our back! We’ve used them for personal & our businesses and they are so fast to help with everything we have ever needed, going into our 4th year living in Franklin. We’ve transitioned between multiple units here based on our different needs, and doing business with them is always stress-free (when moving is inherently is a stressful situation!). We continue to stay here over any other storage option nearby because the staff is so friendly & effective, it stays super clean, the temperature is controlled precisely, it feels very safe, and they don’t let the lightbulbs flicker badly like other rentals I’ve had. We’ve rented storage units all over the southeast and this location is hands down our best experience yet!

This storage facility has inadequate parking and loading/unloading access with no dock loading. The lower businesses are filled with pet services making it a hazard to negotiate your moving vehicle with a significant fear of running over a dog. The elevators are far too small to accommodate many pieces of furniture. The HVAC temperature is set unreasonably high in summer months and low in colder months. Rental rates have increased in very large increments - our final one over $100/mo. There are other better options in the area.

Horrible. There are never there during the open times. It is damn near impossible to get someone on the phone. I’ve been trying to return my keys and pay my final bill and this is my 4th time on hold for over 10 minutes , still not able to reach ANYONE. Do not use this facility. You’ll regret it.

I signed up with CubeSmart December 31st 2021 at 179.00 a month, a few months later they raised my storage rate to $204.00, as of yesterday they raised it to $262.00, without notice. I called to ask why, they apologized for not letting me know sooner and that I should have received an email in advance. Apparently they can raise the rate whenever they feel like it.

Went to the Carothers location to pay monthly bill as CS app was unavailable. I was informed that there was a price increase and I was not notified by mail or email. Mike was not able to take my payment for the rent while waiting on a call from corporate. He said he could only accept the full increase. I currently have 2 adjacent units. I will be moving furniture out of one and will only need one unit. Mike said I would need to move everything out of both units and put items in a new unit. The two adjacent units were rented to me my months ago as one large unit was unavailable. He said I would still need to move my stuff down the hall. I was told in May that corporate would separate the units when we decided that we only needed one. Called corporate and was promised a call within 24-48 hrs from Meghan Newman, district mgr. Its been 5 days, no call. I contact corporate again today. They immediately routed my call to Mike who is unable to assist me. I called corporate again and the very nice lady listened and apologized that I had not received the promised call and I was able to stop her before she routed the call back to Mike. CubeSmart has good units. I’ve never seen any bugs. I’ve seen one dead rat and sent another half dead rat to meet his maker, but it’s a safe place to store items. I paid the increase and hopefully they won’t have me relocate out of one unit to another , but if so I might as well just move it. 11/23: I am amending my review of Cubesmart. 2 visits, 4 phone calls and 10 days later, I received a phone call from district manager, Meghan Newson who apologized for the lack of communication, the misinformation I received from the Cubesmart employees and failure to be notified of a price increase. Meghan stated she will separate the 2 units and will even credit the increase difference for one month and will use this opportunity to provide additional training for employees. Update: After renting for 22 months I cannot recommend Cubesmart to anyone though it’s a good location. Price increased to almost gouging. Door is locked 2-3 hours a day when I go by without any staff available. They should be able to pay staff enough to retain with the amount they charge.

this outfit is terrific. i've never used a self-storage place before and so was more than a little nervous about the amount of space, access at early/late hrs, cleanliness of the unit, and security for my stuff. NO PROBLEMS on any of these issues. david (the mgr) explained everything to me, talked me thru the process, showed me how to access the storage entrance, walked me to my unit so i could see exactly where it was, and showed me how to work the lock to the unit (this is not hard, but he had to do this a couple of times b/c i'm not very savvy about things that are even the slightest bit mechanical). i would use this place again without hesitation, and i recommend it without qualification to anyone who might need it.

I absolutely love this place! David the GM was super friendly and able to answer all my questions/concerns. The storage units are very modern and clean. In addition, they are priced pretty well. I have had storage units in the past but this company has definitely exceeded expectations with the friendly customer service and facility. Talk about 5 star treatment! First, this facility is very clean, new, and well-lit for nightly storage. I was in a bind to find a storage place and I’ve never had great experience in the past. Pretty much “here’s a key, pay us, bye” kind of treatment. Well, David the GM not only helped me with the unit I needed, he presented a very professional manner and provided a sense of hospitality if ever I needed anything, questions, etc. I came here to leave this review and not to my surprise, he’s had several roaring reviews here. I walked in not even doing any research prior to stopping in. David was very helpful that I did not even continue on to where I was headed to rent a storage unit. He showed me several different options as well as several different locations I had to choose from. David even opened a couple of storage units that had never even been rented before and said that he would clean them for me by the time the store opened the next morning or stay even later after closing the store if I felt they would fit my needs. I just want to thank David for making me feel like I was not just a person that walked in the door out of nowhere but actually listened to what I wanted and what I had to say. I’m sorry I had to keep him from going home on time but I am thankful that I stopped by. If you want the best customer service and a clean place to store all of your junk you can’t fit into a tiny apartment then you need to meet David.

New facility with helpful staff and reasonable rates. However, all my belongings REEKED of mothballs after being there for a few months. I had to wash everything that came out of the unit. My couch and bed fabrics needed to be washed too. I assume the facility management has no control over customer’s use of mothballs, but it was highly unpleasant to deal with while moving to a new place.
